-Raphael had been rowing the boat for about an hour without answering her question before he finally decided to speak. He had been going over what his speaking could result in but she had decided to trust him and join him on this voyage. He sighed”I’m half Fish man as my father was Arlong and my mother was a human that was taken advantage of by him. Arlong left my mother to give birth to me as he set out to try and hunt the King but what he didn’t know was that Luffy had already passed away”.
He begin to row the boat bit faster as he saw an island which made him happy as he saw many different ships of multiple sizes. He rowed the boat right up into the sand before jumping out and adjusting himself so he could walk up onto the dock and began to examine each of the boats before he found one that was seemingly perfect in the middle of the grouping and the crew seemed to be gone. He looked around and leaped onto the deck of the brig and turned back to the girl as he began to pull on the ropes trying to test how much strength it would take to get the sails to catch the air and after about ten minutes he had the sails able to be moved. He turned to her and threw a small sack of coins that he had”use these to get any supplies you need ill be here waiting and guarding are new ship.-
-
Carina inspected the small coin-pouch in her hands, discreetly opening the clasp and flipping through the currency inside. Hopefully, the jingling contents would be enough for her needed supplies. Luckily, the ship already seemed to be stocked with the basics of ammunition, food and equipment but there were still other things she would need, especially since she had no idea when they’d reach another town. The mixed blood who saved her was a bit of an enigma. She knew what he was but still no idea as to who he was and what led him to want to form a pirate crew in the first place. A heart-felt sigh escaped her lips before she shook her purple-haired head wildly and refocused on the task at hand.
The island looked lively, and she found herself strolling along a wide cobblestone street flanked by small stores and stalls. Carina scanned the titles of the store and the wares displayed until she found a bookstore of sorts. Even if she had the money, there were only so many books the young woman could carry so she chose to limit herself to purchasing an atlas containing maps of North, South, East and West Blue. She continued to buy other gear such as a gas mask, a small scrap of black cloth, some painting supplies along with a simple top in her size which did not implicate her as a marine deserter. There was still one thing, she desperately needed and having no clue where to turn to, she resorted to asking directions to the nearest pet shop from a passer-by.
Finally, Carina returned to the dock where the brig was being held, supplies in tow and began to haul them onto the ship. “Thanks for the money, there’s still a little bit left if the ship is missing anything,”she mentioned quietly to the the man. They could wait to design their flag once the ship was safely in their possession and far, far out of the reach of the original owners. The thought of an entire crew roaming around the island and eventually returning was a tad worrying.
“Also, meet the newest member of our crew: AV!” The girl announced with an excited lilt in her voice, displaying her purchase at the pet store: a completely ordinary cream colored lop bunny currently sitting on her shoulder. Speaking quickly, Carina cut in before any protests could be made, “AV is short for anti-venom. I need a mammal in order to make some and a rabbit is cheaper than a goat. ” The pirate gently ruffled the fur just behind the rabbit’s ears, delighting in the pleased look on its face. “Even if I wasn’t a Poison Human, it’s always a good idea to have a few antidotes prepared just in case. Also, I got some maps, a gas mask and a flag. Did you need anything in town? We might want to shove off before the original owners get back.”

-Raphael took the time watching her walk away and tilting his head to the side before sighing”not enough meat on that girls bones to make her any fun for a guy my size, and she’s made of poison I have no luck with women. I need to reach the grand line and live with the mermaids so that maybe ill find some kind of luck. He went under the deck to find they had alot of fish but it wasn’t in the best of quality which made him sigh. He walked back up on top of the ship seeing some people coming so he ducked back under seeing five women walk on board saying:I still can’t believe we got away with stealing this ship from the group of rookies, it was so easy we didnt even need a devil fruit”. Raphael had heard enough so he ducked back down below and found a rope. He walked back up not being noticed which wasn’t hard since they all seemed drunk. He tied them up in about five minutes only getting scratched by there untrimmed nails and getting a few kicks to his jewels. He lifted them all up found a navy ship and dropped them on it when no one was looking and ran back to his ship to wait.
He was waiting up in the crows next when she finnaly returned so he yelled down”whats with women and taking forever”. He climbed down taking the coin purse and walking off the ship before turning to her”if this ship is not here when I return you better hope your a long ways off or ill catch up and use you for bait to see how many sea kings I can poison to make for dinner. And your little Bunny is cute, ill enjoy that for a snack”.
He made his way through the shops he was lucky that she hadn’t spent it all because he was mistaken when thinking there would be food on it. He found a shop and got fish a few living chickens in cages so they could get what was needed. He then used the rest of there funds on vegetable’s as he had a plan for fruit so they wouldn’t get other diseases. He had gathered many things so he had a huge sack over is shoulder so that they would be good for a few months unless there was others that joined us. He went out into the forest seeing an apple tree and an orange tree. He pulled them right up out of the roots and placed the bag in his mouth to carry while he carried the trees over his shoulders. He came back through town with people running around trying to understand how man could even carry that much so easily. He reached the ship letting the bag drop easily to the ground so that he can lay down the trees before walking back out and finding two barrels that he filled with dirt before planting the tree’s in them once again and strapping them to the boat so that they wouldn’t fall over. He once again jumped off the boat and grabbed two barrels and ran through the town collecting bottles of rum and fresh water before people could protect to the theft he was back to the ship and ready to set sail” Welp Im Raphael are you ready to set sail or are you going to bore me by making me wait for something”.-
-
Carina shot Raphael the most indignant glare she could muster as he left the ship after threatening the little lapin nuzzling her neck. She shouted after him as though she had just come to some amazing revelation. “You’re an ass!” Once she was fairly convinced that she was in the clear and then turned to look upon the ship all the while grumbling to herself. “Don’t worry, AV. Fish sticks doesn’t know what he’s talking about. I won’t let dumb porcupine-head eat you, even if we do get hungry for meat. The man’s got absolutely no taste.”
Finding the stairs down into the lower decks of the stolen ship, Carina began to explore so that she would know where the galley, sick bay and sleeping quarters were. The sick bay was fairly well furnished with multiple cots for patients. She rummaged through the drawers and cabinets to acquaint herself with the room’s setup and to set out and organize all of her own brought supplies. Considering the fact that their crew was a grand total of two humanoids and a rabbit, the current set-up would be more than sufficient. Carina decided to wait before drugging the bunny today and left the sick bay, making her way back onto the top deck.
There, she came face to face with a young marine inspecting the illegally docked ship warily. Both of them startled when they saw each other, but Carina reacted first and breathed out a thick cloud of minorly poisonous gas. The marine managed to draw his cutlass before he sank to the deck with a loud thud clutching his throat. In an instant, the Devil Fruit User dispelled the gas and grabbed the Marine by an arm. Straining slightly, she began to drag his unconscious body across the deck and back onto the docks. The large. burly man was armed with a sword and musket, making him a lot heavier than she had originally anticipated. “Wow. This guy really needs to go on a diet,” she muttered to herself. “Okay… 1, 2, 3 GO!” With an additional burst of energy, she managed to roll the marine’s prone form onto firm ground. “YES! Score one for me!”
Nothing else exciting appeared to be happening since the marine was due to be knocked out for several hours at least. Trying to find a useful way to occupy her time, the pirate decided to practice clambering up and down the knotted rigging into the crows-nest. Using similar motions to climbing a ladder, Carina began to make her way up to the top, trying not to mind the dizzying height she was currently at. One false step and Raphael would come back to find her cracked open body bleeding out on the deck. A lump formed in her throat, so she took a moment to take a deep breath and continue climbing. Finally, she made it to the top and grinned at the beautiful sight of the island. The salty sea breeze whistled through her hair and a few seagulls let loose throaty sqawks from overhead. Raphael came by carrying…trees!? Really, just how strong WAS this guy anyway? Even carrying one tree was way out of her league. She relished in the feeling of freedom for a brief moment before being startled by loud cries of “Stop! Thief!” The girl stumbled a bit trying to get down from the rigging and ended up accidentally catching one of her feet through the gaps of the rope. Carina struggled for a moment, thrashing about in an attempt to dislodge her foot before getting frustrated. “Doku Doku no Venom Road!” Using a trail of noxious purple venom, Carina transported herself from the rigging to the relatively more sturdy wooden surface of the ship’s deck. “Wait a minute…” The girl gave an enormous sigh. Conjuring another Venom Road, Carina easily slid through the toxic tunnel up into the crowsnest and then back down again. She waved a hand to remove all of the poison and restore the ship to its original, pristine state.
Soon after, Raphael appeared with barrels of rum and water in tow and boarded the ship.
“Nice to meet you Raphael,” she answered, “the name’s Carina Skylark and I’m ready to get this show on the road!” She opened up the atlas of maps and flipped the book to the page showing all of East Blue. “Since you’re steering the ship, is there anywhere in particular you want to go?”
-
-Raphael looked to the woman and smiled before he turned and saw the village was starting to chase after them so he dove into the water and began to push the boat so that it would leave the dock before he got back to the ship and began to steer the wheel”well I didn’t plan to captain a ship so you lead the way since you have the damn map, Captain short shit”. He got them about twenty paces out to sea so cannons wouldn’t hit them so they now had time to plan”I guess I should say a few things about myself since were a crew, I was learning to be a chef before I started my adventure and I have books on the grand line enemies and the island that The King went through after Nico Robin Published her Journal so that’s some help but will rely on those maps till we reach Loguetown at the start of the grand line.” He saw that the winds were picking up so he decided to steer the boat with the wind and take off hoping one day to make it to the grand line.-
-
“S-Short!?” Carina squawked in a tone laden with indignation and anger. Sure, she was slightly below average size, but he was the ridiculously tall one! Her fingers clenched together into trembling fists as she seriously considered decking Raphael. Of course, one good look at his physique quelled the notion. He had deflected bullets with his chest, so her puny fists would barely do any damage to him, assuming that he didn’t simply jump back or block the blow, which was a very big assumption. Hell, she’d probably shatter her hand. Since she was about eye-level with Raphael’s bellybutton, Carina would have to jump in order to slap him in the face and most likely still deal with an injured hand. Instead, the Devil Fruit user settled for huffing loudly and shooting Raphael a glare filled with as much figurative venom as she could muster while letting him finish.
The deck began to sway as the boat churned out a frothy wake in response to the change in direction. The ship’s sails rustled as they picked up the wind and sped the vessel faster through the waves.
“Well, before I became the illustrious Captain Short Shit,” she began not even bothering to hide the vitriol in her words, “I was studying to become a doctor. If you start feeling unwell or when you’ve gotten yourself banged up in a fight, I’ve got you covered. I can’t handle a dose of my own medicine, but I assure you it works very well on everybody else!”
She then decided to start captaining the ship so she looked around for a compass and then started glancing from the compass to the map and back trying to figure out which direction they were going in. “According to the compass,we’re going south pretty quickly so if want to try and make it to Loguetown, we should tack and turn to the southwest.” The girl made a chopping signal with her hand in the direction the boat should turn. “We might have to go around a bit of land, but it shouldn’t be too hard to go around.”

-Raphael smiled before he turned the ship to the southwest and looked at her as he felt the boat began to tug and he strong armed the wheel to keep it in direction”I’m gad to know we have a doctor on the ship though i’m unsure how you can tend to someone with a Paramecia fruit power, since last i checked those aren’t turned off easily”. He turned to her”make sure to eat one of those fruits everyday, I can always steal more on are next stop, Don’t need our doctor getting Scurvy this early in the adventure.” He guessed they had traveled about thirty miles so he yelled down”why don’t you take the wheel and ill make sure that the kitchen works by making us a celebratory dinner. If anything happens ring the bell and ill come running up. He waited for her to come up and take the wheel before he let go and headed down the stairs and into the kitchen when he rolled up his sleeves so that he wouldn’t get it burnt before he pulled out some of the knives he bought from the store. He pulled out some fish and vegetables he sliced up the veggies first until they were finely shredded and ready so he started that on the first stove top heater having it slow so they wouldn’t get finished before the rest of the meal. He filled up a bowl of water and began letting it boil before he filled it full of rice and watching it begin to cook nicely though it might be done to soon but doesn’t want it to be undercooked.
He laid the fish down flat taking a long sharp blade and cut it length wise and easily removed the bones and head before slicing up the rest and fried them up with a few spices and a sauce he heard was a new invention so he placed the lemon juice as it cooked quickly. He then smiled as all the food finished with five minutes of each other so nothing would be cold. He finished up another fish this one he fried without cutting up other then removing the bones and removing the head which he placed on his plate and brought them up to the deck. He placed them down on a table that edges that stuck up two inches so that nothing would slide off. Before He walked over and picked up the anchor showing her it so she knew to hold on before throwing it over board to stop them in the middle of the sea. He went over and sat down and picked up his fork and knife before digging into the stir fry enjoying the sweet taste of of the lemon with spice. He watched her dig in and waited to see her reaction”Hope you enjoy it, And on your comment of heading to Louguetown, I think we should hit some of these other islands maybe get are bounty up before heading into the Grand Line we need to get a name for ourselves.” He was trying to think of where to head first but since she was the Captain then maybe he should leave it up to her.-

Carina resisted the urge to roll her eyes, “I’m a doctor, I know what scurvy is.” She paused for a moment worried that her words sounded too harsh, “Thank you for the fruit though, they look delicious!” She took the wheel in response, making sure to keep the ship moving in a steady direction by making minor adjustments to their course according to the compass. The weather was perfect for sailing with a great blue sky dotted by only a few of the friendliest, fluffiest looking clouds. The smell of fried fish mixed with some spices she couldn’t recognize began to waft from below the ship’s deck reminding the young girl that she was starving.
She joined him for the meal, a little bit overwhelmed by the fact that she was not eating dried beef and gruel, and most likely wouldn’t have to be eating that for a long time. Carina took a seat at the table, and stared at the food in front of her trying to decide just where to start. She ended up spearing a morsel of fried fish along with some vegetables with her fork and took a bite of her first proper meal in two years. The tang of lemons bringing out the natural flavor of freshly caught fish made her eyes widen noticeably. She stared blankly for a moment, just relishing in the taste before hurriedly eating a few more mouthfuls. Carina was eating noticeably quickly, but still maintained the most basic of decent table manners such as using silverware, no elbows on the table and chewing with her mouth closed. After a minute or so in which a good third of her meal had been consumed, she calmed down and took the time to really taste and savor each bite.
“Woah, you’re quite the chef! This is the best meal I’ve had since,” Carina took a moment to wonder whether her parents’ cooking had ever been this good. “Well, it might be the best!” She enthusiastically returned to her meal, making sure to mop up every last drop of sauce with the fish and vegetables. In between bites she spoke to Raphael, “Okay. That make sense, we can pass by Syrup Village: there are usually a few pirate crews pillaging in that region. We might even find some bounty-hunters. If we defeat enough of them, the marines will see us as more dangerous and up our bounty.” She smiled at Raphael, “It should also appeal to a history buff like yourself.”
Meanwhile, a large three-masted ship appeared off the horizon. A few shouts and whistles could just barely be heard as the crew was ordered to pull on the ropes and adjust the sails. The large ship sailed straight toward Carina and Raphael’s ship, giving pursuit. The flutter of white cotton fabric caught Carina’s eye, and she leapt from her seat to lean over the side-rail and squint her eyes at the horizon. “Hey, Raphael. Do you think they’re other pirates? I can’t tell!”
-
-Raphael sighed as he turned to look at the ship and sighed as he spoke”I would have liked to enjoy the first meal after shipping off but it seems that this crew has seen are bounty posters already and are trying to take us out early”. He leaned on the rail turning to her with a smile”guard the ship from projectiles im going to give them problems underneath”. He pulled his shirt over his head before falling backwards into the water before he opened his eyes which even with the sea water never had trouble seeing or rather sensing the movement of things under water. He was hoping his captain didn’t get harmed but he needed to wreck this ship before it could bring ours down as it would be bad if she touched the sea water. He found there rudder and broke it off before he grabbed the ship so that anything that was on board and not holding on would fall overboard or fall over onto there faces on the ship. Once he got this ship stopped so it wouldn’t collide with there ship he used the rest of his strength to punch a hole up through the bottom. He then swam up back to there ship and checked to make sure his captain was safe.-
-
“No worries, leave it to me!” Carina said with a winning smile as Raphael dove into the water and then turned her attention to the enemy ship. A thunderous roar accompanied a puff of white smoke as three cannonballs raced towards her ship. With a slightly wild grin, the young pirate chewed up a large wad of poison and began to blow some bubbles. Once the iron cannonballs got close, she fired large purple bubbles containing a noxious poison gas. Upon impact, the bubbles burst releasing the gas and dissolving the large projectiles. She could hear the rival crew shout amongst themselves to fire another round so she decided to take the initiative and return fire.
“Doku Doku no Chloroform Ball!” Carina let loose another poisonous bubble of gas towards the ship but frowned when it fell to the ocean waves about halfway away from the ship. The poison dispersed in the air just over the surface of the waves. “Hmnph. Guess my range isn’t that good,” she huffed and then prepared to defend against another onslaught of cannon fire. When this next wave had been successfully deflected, she squinted at the ship and decided to try attacking again. Shooting her poisonous bubbles horizontally like a bullet didn’t have enough range to reach the ship even if it was approaching. Using a Venom Road to clamber onto the crowsnest, Carina decided to fire her next package of poisonous gas at a 45 degree angle towards the ship./Like a bomb, rather than a bullet,/ Carina thought to herself. It would be a less accurate attack, but hopefully would at least reach them.
“Doku Doku no…Ghastly Poison Gas Bomb!” With that announcement, Carina fired off an enormous bubble of poisonous sleeping gas towards the ship. The bubble landed with a crash of waves just to the left of the enemy ship. “Tch,” Carina scoffed angrily at the near miss. At that point, the ship lurched and came to a dead stop before seeming to collapse in on itself. She watched as the pirates began to panic and quickly flee the sinking vessel in tiny dinghies and lifeboats.
“Hey Raphael. Looks like things went well over there.” Another grin split her face, “Maybe they have treasure! Go back to your meal, I’ll turn this ship around and take a looksie!”
-
-Raphael climbed back up onto the ship to catch his breath before he walked over to where the cannons were located and grabbed one of the canon balls. He threw it up a few times gauging its weight before he pulled his arm back and threw it hard enough to reach the dingy the captain of the other pirates was in bashing a hole right through it leaving the captain to sink and clamber onto one of the other tiny ships for safety”Remember us next time you try that bullshit your an insult to call yourselves pirates when a couple of rookies ended you so quickly”. He turns back to his meal and begins to enjoy himself once again sitting there shirtless letting the night air dry himself before he puts his shirt back on so that it doesn’t get soaked like the rest of him which made him think he needed to get some under clothes that were water proof. He then grabbed a bottle of rum and drank half the bottle not even having any effect on him as his metabolism was through the roof. He ended up walking over and pulling the anchor up before she tried to turn the ship remembering that he had dropped it before hand. He then sat on the edge of the ship while eating to see if he found anything of interest.-
-
Carina smiled at Raphael, grateful that he pulled up the anchor which she had completely forgotten about in the excitement. While he continued to enjoy his meal, she steered their ship towards the rapidly sinking wreckage of the enemy vessel. The finishing blow had cracked the ship in half, causing the bow side to sink to the ocean floor while the stern of the pirate vessel jutted out from beneath the rolling waves. This was an ideal set-up for the windows to the captain’s cabin in the stern were plainly visible and accessible from the outside. She quickly tied off the steering wheel so they would remain moving in the same direction towards the wreckage and then began to quickly scarf down the remainder of her still delicious meal before scurrying around the deck looking for a coil of rope and a bag. “Alright, as the captain I’ll investigate the ship. If anyone comes trying to steal our own ship, just give a shout, okay?” As they drew closer to the wreckage, small bits of flotsam could be seen floating above the waves while any loose valuables the pirate crew had in addition to many of their weapons littered the sea-floor.
“There has to be something good down there, I just know it!” Carina emphasized with a level of enthusiasm akin to that of a child entering an amusement park while she waited for the ship to draw close enough for her to Venom Road her way into the captain’s cabin. -
-Raphael finished his meal before setting it back down and laid back against the wall yawning as he turned himself back inside as he washed the dishes not worried about the captain. He hadn’t grown attached to her yet so he didn’t care if she fell into the sea. He could survive without her but finding another devil fruit user this early into the adventure so he decided to keep her around for time. He wondered if she had found anything so he walked back outside ducking under the lower door frame thinking the next ship is going to be made taller so that he dosent have to feel to tall. She will feel to small.-
-
Since it seemed Raphael wasn’t going to try and prevent her from looting the sinking ship, Carina immediately used a Venom Road to reach the windows of the captain’s cabin. A well placed gush of corrosive poison ate away at the wood and glass of the window panels. She quickly wormed her way in through the aperture as soon as it was large enough instead of waiting as the poison continued to eat away at the ship and create a bigger hole. Inside the captain’s cabin, the floor pointed down at a steep incline and all of the furniture which was not bolted down to the floor had slid and crashed against the far wall. Shards of broken wood and littered papers covered the floor. Brimming with curiosity, Carina stooped to pick up one of the papers. Her eyes squinted as she struggled to make out the tiny cursive loops of thick black ink and then threw the paper into the air with disgust. Who has time to write this drivel anyway?
Instead, a trunk tossed against the far wall of the room caught her interest. A lock threatened to bar her way so instead Carina simply used her poison to corrode a few panels of wood from the top of the trunk. In addition to a coin purse full of gold and silver coins were a few rare gems and pieces of jewelry likely taken as spoils of war. These all got thrown into her looting bag for later divvying up and pawning for Beri. The trunk also contained a fresh change of clothes for the captain which Carina gleefully ran through, looking for trinkets left in the jacket and pants pockets. She found a few spare sticks of tobacco left in the right pocket but otherwise nothing of interest hidden among the clothes.
“Too bad I never got to meet this captain,” Carina lamented upon pulling out all of the clothes from the sea chest. The outfit was so garish, there was even a fully ornamented captain’s jacket! The young pirate immediately tried on the garment and then let out a joyous laugh when she found herself practically swimming in it. Discarding the jacket, she continued to rummage through the belongings finding a brace of beautifully decorated pistols with pearl inlay among the handles. She suspected that they were primarily ornamental as opposed to functional but placed them in the looting back gingerly nonetheless. There were a few more spare maps which she took in addition to a leather tricorn hat and a beautiful golden astrolabe.
“Hat!” Carina exclaimed with delight upon finding the hat and immediately jammed it onto her head. The hat was too large, so the brim sunk down shadowing her eyes. She giggled with delight for a moment, looking at her reflection around one of the floppy in one of the remaining window panes. Having taken all of the worthwhile treasure from the room, Carina moved on to open the door leading out of the captain’s cabin and into a corridor leading to both the top and lower decks. As she stepped outside, the ship lurched under her feet as the vessel continued to sink into the ocean. Once she regained her balance, Carina made a sharp turn down further into the belly of the ship looking for the hold.
The air was humid, warm and musty in the lower decks. The crew’s sleeping quarters were slowly beginning to take in water. A glance down the stairwell to the hold showed that the hold was close to becoming completely submerged with one noticeable air-pocket by several wooden crates. Humming with curiosity, Carina extended a large trail of venomous poison down through the stairwell into the hold and over towards the air pocket. “Well it seems I can move my poison through the water,” she mused to herself. This discovery prompted a series of questions. If she sent herself through an underwater Venom Road would that count as being submerged by water? Would she make it through the other side or pass out mid-way and drown? As tempting as it was to answer these questions, she turned away and went into the crew’s sleeping quarters. She had no safety net in case she did, in fact collapse midway through the Venom Road. Also, the water was already begin to slowly and silently creep up the stairs while the air pocket diminished with the increasing pressure.
The room was a forest of hammocks slung from all manner of surfaces, crossing each other every which way. There were a few sea-chests or odd trinkets and possessions stashed around the hammocks, which Carina gleefully looted. Although the pirates seemed to have very little in the way of money, small pocket-sized knives, compasses and whittled trinkets seemed to be stashed in nooks and cubby-holes and all sorts of places. There was even a small book which Carina flipped through the slightly damp pages. Her eyes took in the contents of one page before she promptly snapped the cover shut with a muffled noise and slipped the book into the waistband of her pants and under her shirt hoping that it didn’t show too much. There was also a small reed harmonica which would promised excellent fun. Carina promptly produce some pure ethanol to disinfect the musical instrument and then slipped the harmonica into her pants pocket. At this time, a trickle of water had begun to enter the sleeping quarters.
“Time to go!” Carina grinned cheerfully and headed over to the door leading to the stairwell. The water was trickling in faster now and was racing up the stairwell. Giggling happily to herself for her decision to leave while she still could, the young pirate traipsed up the stairs back towards the captain’s room and her point of exit. By this point, the salty water began to slosh about the room and lick at her ankles. She took a moment to take off the tricorn hat and stow it at the bottom of the bag. It was only for special occasions, after-all. Then, as Carina made to leave she noticed her large, partially filled looting bag and the small girl-sized hole in the window she had managed to wiggle in through. “…Drat.” The Devil Fruit user spat more corrosive poison onto the window, tapping her feet impatiently as she waited for it to eat away at the window and wood while the water continued to rise.
Finally, she had a large enough hole to get the bag of money through as well. Choosing a non-corrosive poison to keep the bag intact, Carina created a Venom Road and burst out of the sinking ship and back onto the deck of their own ship. “Bangarang! I got the booty!” She gave a proud grin as she showed off the spoils of war as the captain of her own ship, returning triumphantly.
-
-Raphael smiled as she returned with the bag and he could hear the clang of metal on metal “I guess your not fully useless if you were able to fetch all of that.” He then fell backwards into the water as he searched the wreck himself but not the ships captain chambers. He looker around the ships haul where he found about fifty cannon balls there he put into a bag and carried them back putting the bag on the deck where the balls ripped free and began to roll around the deck but with the boat docked they would be no harm. He then fall back again and went to try and find what use to be the kitchen. He found odds and ends of knives forks spoons and some cans of sealed spices but most of the foot was ruined by the water. He found a bag of what seemed to be potatoes so he took them with him.
He came up from below and swam to the top where he climbed the ship and took this take to the kitchen before he came back loaded there eight canons with eight of the balls he found before stacking the rest in a bolted down crate. He walked up to the wheel and spun it hard to get them away from the ship that was now fully swallowed up by Davey Johns. He then looked to her” I think now would be a good time to find some land so we can get rid of what you found and turn it into money that no one will be the smarter for.-
He waited for her to give him direction before they were on the way towards the next island in the east blue where he hopped to try some cuisine from the next island and test how he could make it better. He could see land not far off but he also saw four ships pass by all navy ships luckily they were not flying pirate colors so the navy never looked at Raphael or Carina. He stirred the boat into dock and found a bandanna to tie over his hair and he found a jacket to cover his normal clothing as he didn’t want to be noticed. Carina had already changed earlier so he wasn’t worried about them noticing her. He walked past a poster of himself that had a six thousand berries bounty “well its low but I guess its a start”.-
