-Tanakami watched how the three of them worked the boat. She smiled, showing her sharp teeth until Axel went to go grab the chicken. Then, she smiled wide. She kept herself where she was and listened to the horrid squak of the helpless bird and the following thunk. She shrugged, food was food. She then walked across the deck and looked at the water, towards their destination. Because of these people, she’d get there faster than intended. She wondered what they were seeking as a crew, seeing as Axel stated his personal reason. She then went to the table when it was set and set herself down.
Tanakami relaxed when sitting but smiled again when he said of their destination and calling her a possible future ally. She spoke back to him, “Not sure how great of an ally, but I owe you both a great deal of gratitude.” She then took to nibbling on the chicken, testing it a bit first then took a large bite out of it. She chewed it up and swallowed and though she worked on the food, didn’t seem to even touch her glass until absolute last.-

Carina grinned as Axel got the ship on the course for Loguetown, and took the wheel while motioning to Luke to come over. “Hey Luke, you’re probably pretty nervous but you’re one of us now, so don’t worry.” She gave him a winning smile while minutely adjusting her grip on the wooden spokes of the wheel.
“That means you’ll get your fair share of any loot we pick up as well. You don’t happen to have eaten a Devil Fruit, right?” Before he could respond, Carina continued, “It’s okay if you haven’t, makes my job easier. Just be careful during a fight if you’re not used to that sort of thing. Safety’s important, you know.”
Luke nodded numbly, so Carina handed off the wheel. “Let’s see how your steering is! Just keep us going on this course, okay?” Once she was satisfied that Luke was doing a good job, she walked off to make some marks on their map about their trajectory and course. She also made a few notes in a small notebook of hers and stored it securely back in her sleeping quarters. By the time she was done, Axel had finished with dinner.
“Hey Luke, come on over! Axel’s food is freakin’ delicious.” The shipwright tied off the steering wheel to keep them going the right way while he took a break to eat with Carina and the others.
Carina happily dug into the chicken, eating up the entire meal. “Axel, your food is great as always.” It seemed his first meal wasn’t some sort of fluke. Already, she was pleased with her decision to leave the marines. The wine, on the other hand, she pointedly left alone giving it a hard gaze. Using one hand, she moved the glass away and nudged it over to Axel.
“The more the merrier,” Carina responded to Tanakami, relatively unconcerned by her guest’s dangerous Devil Fruit powers. “If you don’t mind me asking, are you planning to meet up with a crew over in Loguetown or are you going to try and enter the Grand Line by yourself?”
-
-Axel ate his meal and drank his wine smirking at the comment Carina made him happy so he grabbed up the plates once everyone was finished and headed back downstairs to wash the place up before he began to strip coming back up with a pair of shorts on only before he dove off the side of the ship with a knife in his hand. He was able to catch about twenty fish using his knife to catch each fish some of them were twenty feet long others were for side dishes. He then climbed back onto the ship shaking the water off hoping not to get any of the water on the girls. He took them down and put them in the freezer so that they could enjoy them for dinner one night. He climbed back up the stairs dressed but his hair was hanging down unlike normal he walked to the edge and wiped the blade off before he looked to the horizon seeing the island in the horizon”I can see it so lets prepare to get everything set up.-
-
-Tanakami smirked at Carina when she said the more the merrier. Axel took off with her plate and such and she heard the question asked of her. She looked down a little but kept her smile. As she gazed back up, folding her hands under her chin and propping her head, she spoke, “I am heading to the Grand Line alone. I have crew but I didn’t want anyone hurt. So I left them behind and decided to go there alone, in a dinghy.” She chuckled to herself then heard Axel say they were near the town. She noticed he had lots of fish, and luckily, she didn’t get any of the water on her.
She stood herself up, brushing some of her vibrant purple hair from her face then said, “If you excuse me, I need to find where he put my dinghy.” She turned to go walking down through the ship to try and find where he had taken the damn thing. She searched only through places she was comfortable searching, which were only the kitchen and the food storage. Even then, she only peeked to see if she could see it. She went back up and rubbed the back of her head, wondering where it could be.
-
Carina gave Tanakami a blank look when she mentioned leaving her crew to go alone in a dinghy. She was skeptical of the small craft’s ability to survive the grueling trip up the mountain and into the Grand Line even if Tanakami did have the skills to pick the right current. The inherent arrogance of the pirate in front of her assuming that she could make it without her crew, especially if her powers really did become weak after night-fall also came to Carina’s attention. Still, Tanakami had made it clear on repeated occasions that she wanted to go alone so she resolved to wash her hands of the matter. With a small smile, Carina responded, “Well, that’s not the route I would have chosen but if that’s what you want to do, then best of luck.”
The captain noticed when Axel cleared up the plates and began to go swimming for fish. She muttered to herself, “Good lord, does he ever rest?” Her first-mate seemed to have been either working or fighting for the entire day, and she was a bit concerned about his stamina levels. Louder, she called out when Axel surfaced along with his monstrously large fish, “Geez, you’re making me look like a slave-driver, Axel. It’s okay to take a break every now and then.” As the ship approached, and Carina could see the lights gleaming against the dark, night sky she helped adjust the sails and tie down loose objects as well as taking the table and chairs back into the kitchen. She also fetched some rope from the hold to tie to Loguetown’s moorings and keep the ship from drifting off.
“I guess this is your stop, then.”
-
-Raphael smiled as she said he made her look like a slave driver so he picked up the dingy and launched it into the water next to the dock before jumping back into water and tieing it up so she wouldn’t need to get wet to take off to the grand line where the adventure will now begin. He had the captain go about getting the compass as he had no clue where to find one while he decided to try and find a fight to get there bounty up a little more but all he found were twerps that were bigger rookies then he was so he pulled his knife and jumped into the water and drug his knife in the bottom of every ship other then his captains and the little dingy. He sank each and every one of them while he waited for his captain he sat on his ship while he beat the hell out of people trying to burn there ship out of revenge for what he had done but he was having fun.-
-
-Tanakami smiled at Carina and said, “Yeah, this is my stop.” She stood on the boat while Axel took off to go cause trouble. She then decided to try to ignore it and turned back to Carina, “Mind if I borrow a few supplies? If we meet again I would gladly pay you back.” She was being absolutely sincere about this offer then realized that boasts were sinking around them. She sighed and waited for an answer anyway or at least for Carina to do something. After which she’d go to get the compass that she’d need. They’d need one too. She thought about maybe paying for their compass too if she could, but it wasn’t going to be enough for what she may or may not receive.-
-
Carina noticed all of the ships sinking and sighed, “Sure, take a big barrel of fish and booze with you. Axel’s already getting us in trouble with the local authorities, so I’ll just grab some more at a store here.” She was fairly confident that none of the stores would attempt to stop her if she “lifted” a few of their supplies. “If there was something other than victuals that you needed, just tell me or Axel so I can replenish our stock.” She was being generous as a captain because right now, the loss of a few supplies didn’t set her back at all and it could possibly win her favors and friendship from a dangerous pirate. Allies could be useful later down the road.
At Axel’s insistence, she geared up to go into Loguetown and purchase what they needed to enter the Grand Line. A.V sensed that she was about to leave and nibbled at the girl’s boot until she crouched down and scooped the rabbit up from the deck of the ship and placed it on her shoulder. The tiny lapin nestled into the crook of her neck as the girl hopped from the ship to the edge of the dock and then headed down towards the center of the city. Deciding to simply ask directions, Carina stopped an elderly looking man and politely asked him where to purchase a compass for navigating the Grand Line. He gave the girl in front of him a surprised look, clearly wondering why a young teen like her would be trying to enter the Grand Line without an experienced crew or ship given all of the dangers. Eventually, he pointed in a direction and Carina thanked him and dashed off, her boots clattering against the cobblestone ground. It was only ten minutes after the old man went his own way that he passed by Carina’s wanted poster, now advertising her bounty as worth 1500 beri for defeating a large pirate ship and harassing a small village. He spun around with shock, but by then Carina had already disappeared into the alleyways of the city.
Carina navigated through the narrow back-streets of Loguetown until she reached the main center of town, right where the King had almost met his fate by Buggy the Clown. The wooden platform was still there, of course the wooden planks had to be occasionally replaced in order to keep the whole structure from tumbling down. She looked at it for a bit, before glancing around to find a stall selling Log Poses. She finally found what she was looking for when she noticed a middle-aged woman beckoning her over with a jeweled but gnarled hand from within a shadowy purple tent. Her curiosity peaked, Carina diverted course and entered the small set-up to speak with the woman.
-
-Axel finished defending their ship and after about an hour as people no longer decided to attack and instead hid within there homes. He was walking inside the the town now wearing a hat and glasses to appear different and with people hiding no one took notice. He began to gather up food and decided to soda hearing it would last like rum without having to get you drunk. He lifted up about ten barrels of it and then went and found an ice area and grabbed a huge block taking it back to the ship and smashed it to keep the barrels cold. He kept this supplies separate from the others he then found Luke about to buy some special paint that would make the ship take more assault on the open sea before splitting but the ship would have to be replaced once they reach the halfway point as the bubble effect might not work on this ship.
Axel helped Luke back to the ship setting him up to paint the ship while he walked back into town. He decided to see if he could find anything for himself. He decided to find a fruit though searching for a couple hours ended up with nothing. He saw a man in black robes walking the city and had a katana strapped to his side. He was wearing a mask so Axel didn’t recognize him as his brother though people were running and hiding. He looked towards the dock and there was a huge black ship with black flags. He decided to head back to the ship just in case there was trouble.-
-
-Tanakami nodded in thanks before Carina had taken off. She smirked a bit and grabbed a barrel of fish and one of booze. She hefted them up onto her shoulders and tossed them down onto the Dinghy. She paid little attention to anything that had happened since Axel had been defending the area. She then got off the ship as Axel was getting back. She passed him by and walked into the streets. She saw the man that was wandering about and moved to the edge of the street.
She hadn’t a clue where to go in to find the log. She looked across the shops, careful to keep her distance from the man. She thought he kind of looked like one of the bounty papers she had picked up but she wasn’t sure. She moved into the first shop she could and looked at the shop keep. “Hey,” She whispered to the clerk, “Got any compasses for the grand line?”
The clerk took hold of the compasses and hid them, right in front of her. “Nope,” He said then pointed at the door, “We’re closed, get out.”
She sighed and looked down. “I saw you take them, please, I need one,” She pleaded instead of just doing her normal way. “I will pay anything.”
“I asked you to leave,” He said, still pointing, “We’re closed.”
Tanakami grumbled to herself and was tempted to harm him but she didn’t even threaten. She didn’t want to go back out while that an was out there. At the same time, she did. If she did, she’d look like a stupid fan-girl and she knew it. So she stayed put despite the shop keep yelling at her to leave.-

“Hey lady, what’s up?” Carina asked the woman beckoning to her from within the tent. The young pirate captain kept a neutrally curious expression on her face the whole time, wondering if the diversion would be worth her while.
“That shield you’re wearing… I’ve seen one just like it before near the entrance to the Grand Line.” This peaked Carina’s curiosity, “Yeah? I guess the marines fished this one out of the sea then. That’s cool that it might have been to the Grand Line.” The old lady shook her head violently from side-to-side when she saw the youngster wasn’t getting her point. “Would you by any chance be interested in selling your shield? I happen to be an avid collector of oddities, and some day I would like to complete the set you have.”
Carina gave the old hag an interested look, noticing for the first time the odds and ends for sale in her tent. A full set of Arlong’s discarded teeth, a scruffy and disgusting looking afro… this woman was really, really odd. “The set? So there’s more shields like this?”
“Yes, one other. It is said that were used by a great pirate to nearly kill the King himself, a long time ago. I have always been curious about them, since they are rumored to be incredibly destructive when put together. ”
Carina grinned toothily, “Hey! That’s really cool! I’m not going to sell this one, but if I find the other one I’ll guarantee bring them back for you to look at, okay?” The old woman sighed in response, thinking there was a very small chance of the girl managing to make it all the way around the Grand Line and back safely. “Thank you child. I would appreciate that.”
At this point, the city square erupted into pandemonium and chaos as the townspeople and visiting sailors hurriedly closed down stalls and rushed to barricade themselves up in the taverns, houses, marine bases and any building they could get into. Carina noticed with narrowed eyes, “Huh. I guess my reputation precedes me?” She turned back to the old woman, “Hey, any idea why everyone’s freaking out?” But to her surprise the woman had already packed up everything away and was sprinting off at a surprising speed for an old woman, leaving just the empty fabric of the tent behind. “This city sure is sooo weird,” she whined to herself and continued on down the street looking for a Log Pose since the stall she had sighted had packed up and left. She just couldn’t return empty-handed.
The girl walked nonchalantly down the street looking at the windows of all of the shops to see whether they might have a Log Pose inside. Of course, the street had rapidly become deserted. Getting frustrated, Carina just walked into the nearest store with a bit of dramatic flair. A.V leapt from her shoulder into her hat to avoid the breeze made by the door. “Hey! Anyone in here, I want to buy a Log Pose!” Of course, the shopkeeper hiding there was cowering upstairs and said nothing. Losing her patience, Carina shouted, “Well I’m going to look around then, okay!?” There was a quiet, “Go away,” in response but since it was such a quiet little request, Carina decided to pretend not to hear it. Shrugging, the girl began to ransack the place looking for her desired compasses. The cabinet didn’t have one and neither did several of the drawers or cash register. All of which were locked but still no match for her concoction of corrosive poisons. Finally, one large cupboard held three Log Poses covered with dust. “Found them, no thanks to you!” Carina shouted, just in case someone was actually in here. Fishing out the appropriate amount of money according to the small paper tag tied around the compass, she left a small pile of coins on the store counter. Carina didn’t bother to pay for the damage done to any of the locks, after all the guy deserved it for not helping her out in the first place.
The young pirate captain slipped the compass onto her wrist and began to hum under her breath a merry but classic tune as she headed back out into the streets looking for any interesting shops as she took a round-about detour back to Axel and the ship. They were really going to go to the Grand Line! A toothy grin split across her face again as she could barely contain her excitement. Her humming transformed into joyful singing,
“Making a delivery, bringing it across the sea, Bink’s sake in the hold as we sail through the breeze~!”

-Axel was standing on the dock with his arms crossed while two men walked towards him each had a sword on there back and stood only a few inches smaller then Axel. The one on the right was a sword fishman and the one on the left was a great white fishman. He smirked at them both as he had grown up with them the same as Jeht these two were Nix the shark and Lucian the saw. Nix came up and gave Axel a hug around his head while Lucian gave him a nuggy. He pushed them off luckily he was classified as a whale shark fishman/human getting this trait from his grandfather. He was looking them over and then to the ship”where is Jeht and is this the crew of the so called red king”.
A sword was poked into Axel’s back and a voiced spoke calmly”Little brother what are you doing all the way out here at the door of the grand line, I left you back on Dawn island for a reason you were to stay there and never become a pirate. Axel turned seeing the man in the black uniform with his mask pulled aside so that now he could see his brother. Axel smiled”and here I have a gift for you but first tell your men to leave the small female with the big mouth alone along with the chick that will give you the creeps alone, they both fruit users and one is my captain. Jeht made a motion and crows flew to all of the men around the island to leave Carina and Tanakami alone. Jeht then followed Axel over to his ship and sat on the deck eating an orange from the tree while he waited for Axel to return. If either of the females returned he would stay silent. He would not be meaning to insult them just didnt feel conversing with a Yonko would be good for there image but his brother was different.
Axel walked up with the three swords covered in a blanket handing them to his brother who looked skeptical but when he on rolled it slowly his eyes were growing bigger and bigger till the point he jumped to his feet and a burst of fire went strait up into the air like a beacon and his main crew stood outside of the ship wondering what could be happening each of the ten men outside of the ship also owned a logia fruit. When Jeht held up the black blade all of his crew knew what was happening and walked back to the ship to prepare a celebration for there captain. Jeht placed all three of the swords in his obi before shaking Axel’s hand and heading back to his ship before placing down a huge bag of gold, and then laying down a map of the first half of the grand line before Nix walked onto the ship and sat down speaking to Luke. If Carina was back yet he would explain that Nix would be guiding them from now on as there navigator and he was also a logia user of the plume plume fruit.-
-
-Tanakami finally whipped her head back around and said, “If you won’t give me the log, I will take one. I will pay for it though, I am not an asshat.” She took out some of her money and dumped it on the counter. She then flattened her hand on the counter and proceeded to leap over it. She grabbed a compass and saw a man that she had been avoiding in the street at the door. The glass was a bit mucky but she could have sworn he was about to open it when a bird landed on him and he retreated. She tilted her head but put her log into the space between her breasts.
She walked around the edge of the counter to leave. She pressed through the door and she walked to the dock to where her dinghy was and she happened to see a flame shoot off her allie’s boat. Her immediate reaction was to run onto the ship where she was about to get ready to attack and then saw who shot it off. She couldn’t think about backing up and this resulted in her doing a full backflip before she could step back. She backed until she was out of sight of the top of the ship but certainly not out of earshot as she screamed like a fan girl. She covered her mouth then and took deep breaths.
She calmed herself down and as he was coming off the ship and she tried to get beside him and said, “HI!Youhaveahighbounty.Youareoneofthehotones.Wereyouthefire?Youstartedmyfire.AnytipsforsomeonegoingontotheGrandLine?Where youalwaysthishot.I’mGekkoTanakami.Hi.OhmygoshIneverthoughtIwouldseeoneofyou. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!”
She didn’t mean to scream again, she was just extremely excited.-

Carina was meandering along the street when she saw the enormous plume of fire shoot directly into the air right above where her ship was docked. Spitting out a surprisingly foul curse for someone of her appearance, the young pirate captain immediately began to rush towards her ship and Lupus. The small rabbit nestled in her hat scurried about in distress as Carina hurtled through the city. The stormy look on her face promised destruction for anyone threatening to burn her new, very nice ship. Her crew members may or may have not deserved to be attacked, but any damage on them would incur her wrath as well, as a matter of principle.
The poison human reached the dock and stared numbly for a moment at the scene before her, trying to figure out just what was going on. A strange man was talking to Luke who seemed to be slightly intimidated but accepting of the guy. A big bag of gold lay on the deck of the ship, not a single bit of said ship was burned and the pirates on the larger ship were partying and preparing for a big celebration. She boarded her ship and gave Axel a pointedly curious look, the adrenaline slowly fading from her system as she realized her crew wasn’t in danger. Turning to the stranger on deck, she proffered her right hand for a shake, “Hello, I’m Carina Skylark, the captain of this vessel. And who might you be…?”
-
-Axel watched Carina run up which made him wonder what was going on before he thought about the huge thing of fire that had probably looked like an attack to her so he decided to turn and explain things to her but Nix beat him to it”Hello captain im your new crew mate for the first half of the grandline and then I return to the burning pirate crew which your cook took part in to create id say fifteen long years ago.
Axel sighed as he walked below deck not wanting to remember that oath he once took to reform the straw hats and to destroy all those that call themselves Marines. He began to cut up vegetable for a meal that he wasn’t sure would ever be served as he would like Nix to jump off a very high rock. Axel didnt Nix just his lineage, he was a pure fishman but with bad tendencies to see weakness in anyone that wasn’t-
