You are in a room.
The floor is made of concrete.
The walls are made of concrete.
The ceiling is made of concrete.
There are no doors, windows, or other openings. Somehow, the air in the room is being refreshed constantly.
You have no idea how you, or anyone else, got in this room. You don’t see much of a way out. There’s nothing here except the clothes on your back – even the light is just a dim ambient illumination, with no visible source.
Actual RP
-
The smell of coffee intensifies.
The room darkens until it is impossible to see.
-
Elijah stands, stumbling but steadying himself, “Is everyone okay?” He asks loud enough for everyone to hear.
“I-I’m fine but…why?” Alex asks, not quite sure what to say. He feels around a bit from his place on the ground, “Is this your leg Elijah? Or is this someone else’s leg? Sorry.”
Elijah feels a slender hand on his lower leg, “Keep your hand their, I’ll just…”
The brunette boy reaches down, feeling along his own leg until cold hands met soft skin. “Okay, got you.” He helps Alex up, keeping a grip on his hand. He should be thinking that it was awkward but Elijah doesn’t think like that. “Samuel, maybe take Velia’s hand, you take mine, and we try to find everyone else in the room and stick together?”
-
“No, really, what the hell is going on? Can i get some sort of explanation? Is anyone even gonna listen to me?”
-
Samuel nods and stands feeling carefully along the wall a few steps to where Velia lay asleep, and he kneels down awkwardly trying to make sure he didn’t fall, his hand touches her still wet shoulder, and she jumps.
“Sam-Sam? The Stars died.” She says blinking confused in the darkness, using him as a support. Samuel nods invisably.
“Yeah the dancing bear killed the stars.” He explains and she sighs in frustration. Then in a dramatic mood change giggles slightly,
“The swan and the koi fish met at midnight.” Samuel laughs at her mysterious joke and the two of them retreat back to the wall.
-
“Hello?” I walk around the room with my hand out trying to feel where I am going.
-
Ian gets up and pulls his flash light from his pockets and turns it on (Ducky What do i see?)
-
A strong scent of bacon mixes with the coffee smell.
Something moves incredibly fast and silently through the beam of the light. No matter how you try to swing the flashlight around to see it, it eludes you after the first sighting.
-
Elijah jumps a bit, trying to ignore it, “I have no clue what the fuck is even going on.”
He clutches Alex’s hand even tighter, making his way in the direction of where he hear Samuel’s voice in a determined manner. The bubblegum haired boy stumbles a bit behind him, shaking, perhaps frightened by the dark. He reached his free hand out and determinedly walks, his hand hand bumps into a concrete wall rather harshly, scrapping it. He feels out more, feeling a shoulder of which he assumes to be Samuel.
“Take my hand one of you, we’re gonna try and join hands with everyone maybe, to make sure we all know where we are and stuff,” Elijah explains, his voice oddly firm sounding.
-
Samuel feels the hand and responds “Alright, Velia already has my other hand, so maybe if we move slowly we can find the others in the room.” He explains Velia continuously tries to adjust to the blackness but to no avail. The most she can do is think she made something out over by the light, and then realize it was nothing focus-able. The entire thing was very frustrating to her. To the point of cringing. Yet she gripped Samuel’s hand onward, noises of walking and shouts seemed to echo everywhere. Intermixing with the smells of coffee and bacon, God this would be paradise for Claire, Samuel thinks sarcastically, as his bright yellow eyes offer no illumination, he is but a slightly darker figure in a pitch black room. The concept of fears came towards him. Maybe that was the basis….maybe this room was some very extreme fear factor with a death penalty…Water, Darknes….It made sense, but that wasn’t enough to go off of, he will keep his theories to himself until evidence supports.
-
No, no, no, no.” Emmaline scooches into the corner of the room, holding her head and rocking back and forth. She has an intense fear of the dark. “I, please stay calm. A-as soon as we figure everything out, I’ll e-explain.” Shivering, she clutches her hands around her knees tighter. “Over here, guys.” She calls feebly to the others from the corner. “Why does it have to be the dark, puppet master guy?”
-
Velia hear’s emmaline and feels along the wall and to her she taps her “it me.” She explains before she can freak out “grab hand.” Her English coming to her slowly, she outstretched her free hand close to her hoping she would understand her offering.
-
Samuel gets tugged from Velia’s impulse, and he hear’s a different part…
she….
fears….
the dark…
he was right. Or at least for now.
-
Alex walks along, tightly gripping Elijah’s hand as if his life was dependent on it. Elijah grips back as if to reassure him. What’s wrong with him? Alex doesn’t know himself, he just walks with shaking legs, most of him trembling a bit, but he’s glad to hear that they found Emmaline, now they just need to find the others.
“Okay, someone else call out, we can use sound and the walls to find you, maybe find your way to a wall if you already haven’t,” Elijah instructs, still oddly determined.
-
“Over here.” I say as I reach a wall. “Okay I found a wall.” I finish moving across the wall feeling for people.
-
The bacon smell intensifies, becoming so strong it nearly drowns out the coffee smell.
Something scratches at one of the walls.
