You are in a room.
The floor is made of concrete.
The walls are made of concrete.
The ceiling is made of concrete.
There are no doors, windows, or other openings. Somehow, the air in the room is being refreshed constantly.
You have no idea how you, or anyone else, got in this room. You don’t see much of a way out. There’s nothing here except the clothes on your back – even the light is just a dim ambient illumination, with no visible source.

Ana looks over to Dayla, a little surprised to see another one of them here. Then she notices how Dayla introduced herself. Right, she probably should too. “Hey bitches and bastards, I’m Ana Estelle, Ana is obviously pronounced as Anna as you can hear by me peaking, but only has one N.”
Alex nods with a smile also having kindly at Dayla, Elijah just being happy it worked without hurting anyone. Alex notices that…his hearing is starting to slowly fade out. The spell must be wearing off…oh well, Ana could interpret his signing.
-
*Dusty very gently took off her mala beads with her injured hand and started counting them as she tapped on the wall the beads helped her concentrait as she tapped shutting out the other people of the room*
-
Alex frowns a bit, his hearing almost completely out, a loud ringing sound in his ears suddenly starting up. Elijah frowns a bit as well. He remembers the American Sign Language alphabet…but he’s a bit sloppy with it. He knows a few signs like thank you, no, and yes, but that’s it, he’s no where near fluent, but then again neither is Alex…but Alex still knows more than he does. Ana is okay with the alphabet, but her knowledge is pretty limited beyond that, so she’s likely to act as his interpreter, although Alex will have to spell things out letter by letter for her. Given that Alex can’t read lips, and once is hearing is completely set back, he is completely deaf rather than HOH or profoundly deaf, Ana will have to tell him what others say. Although, Ana can also lend her hearing to Alex, given the fact that they are soul twins.
“My…hearing’s almost…uh…g-gone, Ana…” Alex says, talking slowly, being overly self conscious of how he sounds.
Ana looks down slightly at him, the blond girl making sure he sees her nod in acknowledgement.
Meanwhile, Elijah looks around at everyone else in the room, noticing the new, seemingly Irish, girl tapping on the wall and holding beads that were once around her neck, raising his eyebrows curiously. He notes that it seems as if she’s blocking everyone else out to focus on what she’s doing. He’s not gonna question it though, he just turns his attention back to the others and thoughts of possible escape. Or even…when the next terrifying event will happen, and how many people will or will not die this time.

Varali Bala claps laughing heartily at Ana and Dayla. “Welcome!” Stella stares at them all looking like a social reject, fiddling with her skirt as she looked between the ‘hot’ attitude of Ana, someone who seemed like a fire ball and Dayla a very pretty and seemingly caculating woman. “Uh…its okay, Alex.” She patted the boy’s shoulder, and even though she really didn’t know what was happening with him she knew he seemed a bit stressed.
-
Alex looks over at Varali, smiling at her kindly then turning to Ana, he seems to give her a questioning look.
Ana raises an eyebrow at him, her arms crossed before looking to the tan skinned girl that recently patted his shoulder, studying her, the white hair and pink eyed combination mixing with her tan skin to remind her of someone she knows…coincidentally named Stella, like the girl here before Varali. “What is it?” She questions Alex, directing her gaze back at him.
“Um…I heard….the word….’okay’…and…muffled things before…and after that?” Alex says in an innocent and questioning tone, taking awkward pauses, and some of his words slightly drawn out.
Ana pauses, looking back to the stranger known as Varali, “Alex is full out deaf, we used….I don’t know, some fucking spell to allow him 24 hours of sound, and now that’s kinda fading or some shit. Slowly…almost completely.” The blonde looks back to Alex, “Can you read lips at all?”
Alex tilts his head, Ana repeating what she said, making sure no hair was in the way of her mouth, as well as speaking clearly, loud enough, and not doing something stupid like speaking really slowly and drawing out words as if it’d make him understand better.
Alex looks up, as if processing that, “Um…something about lips…wait she said things would be….okay? I think…? Or ask if I was okay maybe?”
Ana nods to this, Elijah watching the conversation, feeling bad for Alex, now it might be difficult to communicate with other people in the room.
-
((…Neoma I just realized that you have been posting to the home page rather than this. Are you not aloud on this because it’s blocked…? Or am I just missing something?))
Alex looks to Dayla, then nods, signing back, letter by letter, he’s not sure how much sign language Dayla knows so he’ll stick to the alphabet.

*Dusty noticed they were using sign language she only knew A and banana and she though phone, so she made a surfs up sighn with her hand and placed it on her ear*”Bannana phone”, she said smiling.
-
Alex happened to notice Dusty doing this and giggled slightly, smiling at her with a nod in her direction as well. Then it just…happens. He can no longer hear anything…nothing. Did the spell wear off or was everyone in the room just quiet. He jumps as he feels a hand on his shoulder, turning to see that it’s just Elijah, he sees Elijah move his lips….something about….what? He doesn’t understand. So he just shakes his head at Elijah, Elijah looks down at him, frowning. Alex looks back up at him, simply signing “deaf” to tell him that he could no longer hear, the spell had worn off. Ana acknowledged this, ready to lend him her hearing if needed.

((Sorry guys I at some point spaced the concept of a forum—))
*Dayla nods and speaks up* “Alright I know a few words but I think the alphabet would be be most helpful, now here—” *she begins slowly showing the letters in the alphabet to those around her* “so signing while you speak is extremely helpful at the moment.” *she further explains*
-
Ana cuts in, “But it’s not always helpful for everyone if you speak, don’t make assumptions about all deaf people, that will really piss some people off, everyone prefers different things.” Ana rolls her eyes a bit but at nothing in particular, likely doing it just to do it, or perhaps by some sort of habit.
The pink haired boy watches Dayla explain, or rather, more so watches her fluid hand motions, it’s interesting really, how fascinating and smooth hand movements can be, transitions between letters, the form of their hands. It fascinates him somewhat.
Elijah just sits there, feeling stupid as if he missed something, but he doesn’t even know what it is. Could he have stopped this from happening to Alex? Of course not it was temporary…so why did he feel so guilty?
-
Dayla nods, “Ana is right, assumptions probably are not helpful in a situation like this but does everyone remember the letters? It’d be easiest to stick to them, being as he does not know much else, and wi do not know what Eh knows and so on and so forth” she then signs to Alex,

Meanwhile Velia stay asleep clinging to Samuel who looks just as tired, but of course sleep and him never got along, so he simply sat there watching the show probably absorbed in his own thoughts, occasionally stroking Velia’s hair.

*Dusty speed runner it and tryed to spell All Flowers but ended up spelling ass flowers* (XD lol)
-
Alex notices Dusty signing, his eyes widening, wondering if he caught that correctly, and if he did he hopes it was a mistake. Then he turns back to Dayla, smiling at her.

Alex looks to Elijah, frowning at how he seemed down so he sits next to him, Elijah only glances at him, nodding showing that he’s paying attention. He really isn’t too fluid with the…transitions between letter…he stumbles a lot, and hesitates. He fears it makes it hard to understand what he’s trying to say.
-
*Dusty signed,” Hi”, before she got up and staired at the wall, she turned back to them.”Ima try and break dis wall”, she signed before slamming her self against it then sinking down to the floor again, she grunted.”I think i broke somthing trying to break the wall”, she said weakly not moving in fear of miss placing somthing.
-
Dayla sighs and goes quickly to Dusty, feeling herself an amature Juliet of sorts she asks “is there anything you can’t move or place where there’s unimaginable pain?” She knew that much medically. The difference between sprain/strain/fracture and actual breaks. Pain and numbness which is another brilliant metaphor for this room….
