You are in a room.
The floor is made of concrete.
The walls are made of concrete.
The ceiling is made of concrete.
There are no doors, windows, or other openings. Somehow, the air in the room is being refreshed constantly.
You have no idea how you, or anyone else, got in this room. You don’t see much of a way out. There’s nothing here except the clothes on your back – even the light is just a dim ambient illumination, with no visible source.
Actual RP
-
Alex looks up at the ceiling, shutting his eyes tighty when a large drop of water splashes onto his face. He adjusts his dress, then slides the sleeves up slightly, cupping his tiny hands together and holding them out. He looks to Velia who’s not too far from him.
“You should put your phone in yor pockey and collect some water as well, we do need to drink something,” he states in a soft tone, still smiling.
-
Velia nods rather numbly and looks towards the dripping sound. Drip drop. Drip. Drop. She begins to hold out her hands collecting a small pool of water reflecting the grey into them. Her phone safely pocketed, she remembers something Dayla once explained. She once said, that one can find a loop hole with a soul sibling. If you have to wait a whole century to reincarnate, but your sibling is next in line, you can cut to be with them. If your twin needed sight, they could borrow yours. It was quite the extrordanary loop hole….

Samuel’s mind moved a million miles a minute, as he saw flickers of Velia and Alex locked in some sort of box. It made no sense, when he tried to see them they’d stop existing then he’d see Velia again and the picture could grow slightly, he knew it was crazy but, he already left s note for Jade and Neoma, and found the spell in a book of Dayla’s. He recited the seemingly gibberish foreign words knowing the translation in his head roughly ‘Take me to the place where I do not did, take me passed a shadow none, take me into the blink of one’s eye take me to where mine sister’s gone.’ The blinding flash left him in wonder….where…was he?
-
Water continues to drip from the ceiling.
A pool about an inch deep now fills the floor.
The smell of bacon is suddenly replaced with the stench of sulfur.
-
Alex looks down at his cupped hands now mostly full of water. It looks clean and fine but…what if…what if it’s not? He looks to Velia to see that she hasn’t had any yet that he knows of. Maybe…
“Velia,” Alex says, not smiling but also not looking sad or angry, simply blank. “I’m going to try the water first to see if it’s okay. If I’m fine, then you drink some too…if I’m not then…don’t drink it. Okay?” He finishes off the “okay”, looking to her with a quick smile before drinking some. It…
…
…seems normal. He feels fine. He just stands there silent for what seems to be a few minutes and drinks more, a bit over half of it gone, then waiting a few more minutes. It seems fine. So far that is.

A tall boy around 5’10 stumbled, his head pounding. He looks to be pretty slender. Overall, he’s on the lanky side. His hair is a dark shade of brown wavy, wild and messy, yet soft and fluffy looking you can’t help but want to feel it, it looks like a struggle to maintain though. Waves of the soft yet wild brunette hair falls into his face, partially covering his eyes, one of which is a light brown and the other a hazel that’s a bit more not the brown side than the green, the difference in eye colors not too obvious at first glance. His skin is a bit of a tanned tone, his face a bit more on the oval side, but also a bit rounded and smooth looking. He wears a button up short sleeved black shirt with dark faded black skinny jeans that are actually a bit baggy around parts of his legs, a chain is on them as well. He then has bright red converse.
All he can currently see is white, and he feels like he’s falling both slowly and quickly at the same time if that’s even possible. He feels himself collapse, his eyes shut. He feels a cold surface below him. Is that…concrete? He opens his eyes and squints, expecting a lot of light…but that’s not what he finds, he find himself staring up at a ceiling that’s also concrete, from which he can tell the room is also dimply lit.
“Elijah?!”
Elijah hears a familiar female sounding British voice, he sits up both surprised and relieved.
“Alex?”
-
Elijah feels around him. God is he laying in water?! He quickly sits up, seeing the familiar short pink haired friend of his, walking over quickly, also spotting Velia, shooting her a look as if to ask if she’s okay.
-
Samuel looks around the water infested stench filled room “WHAT IS THIS 999?!” He yells rushing to Velia and picking her up as if she were just a doll, and getting her out of the water, the sloshing sound on his boots made him cringe, he couldn’t see anything harmful ahead of them buthe courant we eant thing helpful either. Velia hugs Sam-Sam with the vacant esque of a smile, as if she had been desperate for his arrival. Velia looks around “Nonary?” She asks the people beginning to stand out. Perhaps he was more right then he thought. Alex. Velia. The guy with the water, the cheerleader…himself, was there anyone else here? That’s five, God if it ends ip being some type of binary game he’s screwed, he’s so very screwed, Neoma would try and actually kick some ass, Velia would be a little genius but he’d be there basically. Velia shakes her head as if her thoughts were too overwhelming, maybe she was thinking the water was a hallucination? It’s hard to tell behind her stone cold demeanor of fear and sadness.
-
Velia points to Rlijah “six sitting ducks.” She says, sighing wishing Jade was here to quack she nods at Elijah then answering his imvisable question before staring at her reflection in the water.
…
…
…
who is she?
-
Elijah looks over, “Why am I a duck now?” He tilts his head sounding genuinely curious. Alex giggles a bit at this and playfully punches him.
“No, Elijah, it’s not meant literally. Oh, Samuel! Velia has a translator app on her phone…and if her battery dies I have mine fully charged and off to preserve the battery incase hers died…but it seems she won’t need that really with you here but just incase you may want it for anything, I have it. Just thought I would inform you,” Alex tells him, still smiling despite the situation. However, he was ramble and his voice had a slight shake to it, indicating that he’s anxious and scared as well. Alex looks down at the water…it’s pooling up. Well then…shit.
-
Samuel nods to Alex and Elijah, “alright, Velia what do you think is going on?” It was like some sort of super power the way Velia scans the room slowly in a tired dazily fashion. She then looks to Samuel with a hint of fear but no other detectable emotion,
“I know that there was a raccoon taken up on the hill where the crow’s nest is and now we’re waiting for the dancing bear to stop hiding because he’s afraid of collecting too many raccoons. Now there’s a six in the meadow, but it’s burning. So we have to smile for the dancing bear.”
Samuel nods. “She knows someone had to bring us here with magic as there’s no logical solution otherwise and that I can confirm you guys can’t be found foresightly, except Velia who I barely saw. She’s pretty sure the one behind this can’t be narrowed down much further other then loving to play games with us from the water which probably isn’t the healthiest, and before that something about bacon? Anyways now she’s assuming we’re being observed by whoever is behind this and they’re expecting some sort of show.” He finishes translating to see her nodding.
-
The drops increase in speed.
The water has pooled to a foot in depth.
The sulfur smell intensifies.
-
Alex’s eyes widen a bit. Oh dear, that’s really not good. Was this going to be like the Saw movies? The phrase “Do you want to play a game?” rings in his head and he can practically see the creepy little puppet rolling in on a tricycle now. Although he knows that that’s just a silly idea and he’s somewhat out of it.
Meanwhile Elijah’s looking down, clenching his fist and shaking. Shaking with..with pure and utter anger! Normally he’s so mellow…so…oblivious and he knows this, he’s completely aware and isn’t stupid at all. He just…this strikes a nerve. He doubts any of the others have seen him truly mad or any sort of extreme emotion, he’s a pretty mellow and kinda stoic guy but…he can’t contain it.
“WHAT THE ABSOLUTE FUCK?! WE AREN’T CAGED ANIMAL! THIS GUY HAS SOME FUCKING NERVE AND I WILL BEAT HIS OR HER OR THEIR FACE IN IF I GET MY HANDS ON HIM!” Elijah is full out yelling, his normally kind of slow and a bit airy and relaxed tone has formed into a booming storm of rage.
Alex jumps, his eyes a bit wide as he just stares at Elijah. Well that was…erm…sudden…
-
Samuel jumps a bit, despite the unexpected ness of he outburst, he agreed with Elijah, but this semi magic puppetmaster chose them for a reason he’s sure of it. Again, the idea of 999 showed up.
((9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors a game in which you play as one of 9 people trapped on a boat that is going to sink in 9 hours and the only way to escape is to solve a puzzle and open all 9 doors, however there’s death around every corner and a mysterious being in a gas mask named Zero is there to watch it all. Will you escape the Nonery Game? Sorry— thought I’d elaborate. Basically 999 is Saw on a boat XD ))
On the flip side from Velia’s perspective the anger seemed almost obvious she nods at him “Burn the dancing shut.” Samuel glances towards her “kill the faking introverted bitch, preferably in a painful way” He translates. Velia nods glancing to the rising water. Water….higher….drowning….Mina….Dayla….Magic….Light Magic is a Fey thing….Fey/Fairy Kind learn the ancient language…..Ancient Language can conceal things….Maybe a door is miraged?….Some souls learn the ancient language on their own….Witches have to learn it too…She doesn’t remember many spells….if she attempted one she’d probably accidentally off herself….Yvonne might know….there’s no way to contact her….loop holes…Soul Sibling…Soul Connction…A…Velia snaps out of her thoughts and looks to Alex and says completely seriously, “Hurt yourself.”
-
I stand up when the water increases. “Don’t freak out.” I freeze the water except around peoples feet and bodies in the water so they don’t get stuck.
-
The sulfur smell weakens.
[DAKOTA] uses [FREEZE WATER]
Though this decision shows vast ingenuity, it exposes an underlying problem – Water expands when it freezes.
The gaps he left for peoples’ legs quickly fill in, trapping them, and the ice slab rises ever so slightly.
Water continues to drip from the ceiling.
The sulfur smell intensifies.
(Ducky note: This rising water event is a tutorial/introduction of sorts.)
-
Samuel holds tightly to Velia as his legs freeze. Velia hugs him and tries not to cry “Sam-Sam I’ll drown if the feathers are too white.”
