You are in a room.
The floor is made of concrete.
The walls are made of concrete.
The ceiling is made of concrete.
There are no doors, windows, or other openings. Somehow, the air in the room is being refreshed constantly.
You have no idea how you, or anyone else, got in this room. You don’t see much of a way out. There’s nothing here except the clothes on your back – even the light is just a dim ambient illumination, with no visible source.

Unfortunately, while Sulfur itself would be useful for this purpose, the infamous ‘sulfur smell’ is, in fact, the odor of Sulfur Dioxide – a chemical which, though it reeks to high heaven, is non-flammable.
The sulfur smell grows stronger.

Velia was floating now, holding on to Samuels its an iron grip, her claws still equipped. Samuel won’t let go of her either but to carry her again might be a bit difficult, he closes his eyes and begins to think suffer….An image flashes through his mind of underwater feet running from fast moving streams of bubbles….the term ‘hot’ came to mind but the vision had no further explanation “is it underground?” He asks confused. Velia coughs a bit, the water now mostly covering her, but she is basically using Samuel as a floatations device, Damuel quickly undoes his soaking jacket, and turns it into a raft so Velia can prattle around, she wasn’t much taller then 5 ft so this was an overwhelming amount of water, eventually she wouldn’t be able to touch at all…

I dive down and search the ground for anything that can help. I surface. “How is this possible?” I yell catching my breath.
-
“It’s possible because of the guy who put us in here, he’s playing puppet master, and he’s yanking on my strings too much for comfort.” She dives down, scrabbling for anything at all. She comes back up empty handed. “This is total bullshit! You’re going to leave us to die in here!” She punches the wall angrily, splitting open her knuckles.

Alex is currently standing on his tiptoes, breathing heavily. He really only has two inches left. Upon seeing this, Elijah grabs him, hoisting him up on his back.
“Thanks,” Alex manages, a bit out of breath. He looks to Samuel and Velia who seem to be managing. “Are you guys okay?”
Elijah walks a bit closer to them, the water slowing his movements of course. He feels pretty useless. Why…why can’t he think of anything? Nope. No no no. Now is not the time to go into panic. Keep it together Elijah.
Alex is currently trying to think. Samuel said something about it being underground? But…the floor is also concrete, it’s gonna break just as well as the walls. It’s also coming from the ceiling. Or…are they supposed to just let the water engulf them? Is there a way to stop it? Or…is it that they pass out after the room fills up and wake up in another area? Too many options.
-
I barely keep myself on the ground, I look around to see if anyone else has a idea of what to do.
-
At this point, Alex is full out panicking, he can barely breathe let alone think. No…calm. Inhale, exhale, inhale….exhale…
Okay.
“This…” Alex starts, “is bullshit…”
Elijah jumps a bit, “You swear?”
“On occasion,” Alex answers in an angered tone, he clutches the knife in his hand, also being sure to keep his arm around Elijah’s neck without choking him.
“I wish we had…Magic tape or something to stop the water in the ceiling…” Elijah mutters, knowing how stupid it sounds but all he wants is a solution…think…some sort of spell maybe?
-
The water is up to seven feet. The sulfur smell becomes very faint.
-
Samuel is submerged now attempting to get back up to the ceiling, there is a foot of water between his feet and the concrete floor, he swears his vision was trying to earn him about underground but now he can’t understand, he looks around the bobbing heads seeing his jacket begin to submerge…his heart seems to stop there’s no mess of Raven hair and grey skin….no white eyes looking to him desperately secretly pleading for help or finding temporary relief…He doesn’t know what to do….He yells out in a panic.
“VELIA!?”
Her hair falls away and messes around her and she begins to feel light headed as she sinks down, coughing a bit, and feeling faint through the water stinging her eyes she sees Samuel frantically paddling in the distance…looking for her. The bubbles in the water seemed everywhere from his movement as she continued to sink, no energy to swim..Remembering what Samuel was thinking about, he said underground…is that where she was going? Her face feels hot but the water is relatively calm its like she’s burning up form being under….then she can’t seem to keep her stinging eyes open long enough…flickers….
“SAM-SAM!” She tries yelling with a hoarse voice but gets a mouthful of water, the words lost in bubbles….
-
Elijah finds himself against a wall as he tries to keep himself afloat. He’s trying so hard not to panic right now. Where was Alex? The water got too high and…he…let go of Elijah. He looks to Samuel, seeing that Velia is also no where to be seen. Oh god. No. Alex and Velia are…are they? No. He feels his eyes sting. Oh come on, don’t cry. Oh hell, let yourself cry man. Elijah was underwater as well, his hair weighed down and in his face even more, he slicks it back a bit so that little of it is in his face. God. He’s crying and likely to drown soon…Velia and Alex are gone. More tears. He swims over to where Samuel. They should at least…stick together.
“They’re…gone…?” He says in more of a questioning tone, his voice cracking.
-
I swim down and I see some people under water so I pull them up and hold my breath underwater for as long as possible so they can get a breath.
-
Emmaline float to the top, takes a breath and dives. Seeing Velia, she grabs her arm and yanks her frantically to the top, starting to inhale water because she can’t breathe at all. After she yanks her to the top, she starts to hyperventilate trying to get air, making her vision fuzzy.
-
Samuel shudders a bit, hearing the hopelessness in Elijah’s tone. “I…guess. I can’t see far enough down…God if they’re…” He can’t choke the word “I…don’t know what I’ll do.” He sniffles back tears looking down through the water, nothing was visible….no flash of pink hair, no movement or tangled monochromic figure…no movement of a dress whether black or white…no skin…no…nothing….
-
Samuel moved to see Velia emerging and paddles to her. Velia remains unconscious as Samuel grabs her. “oh my god…” He breathed over and over.
-
Elijah swims over, “Is she okay…?”
He looks around for any sign of Alex as well. People are helping others but no…Alex…please tell me he’s not…no. He recalls when Jade made Alex have a breath holding competition with her, neither of them being too masterful but Alex really wasn’t the best, he lost.
Meanwhile, under the water, a pink haired figure is starting to lose consciousness, the water is blurring his vision and he probably should close his eyes but he doesn’t. He can’t breath, he can’t think, he’s too weak to move.
Back on the surface, Elijah being glad to see Velia still alive, is determined to find Alex, they all are gonna get out of this together.
“I’ll be back,” He tells Samuel before diving under the water.
