Group Description
You are in a room.
The floor is made of concrete.
The walls are made of concrete.
The ceiling is made of concrete.
There are no doors, windows, or other openings. Somehow, the air in the room is being refreshed constantly.
You have no idea how you, or anyone else, got in this room. You don’t see much of a way out. There’s nothing here except the clothes on your back – even the light is just a dim ambient illumination, with no visible source.
Actual RP
-
I swim up and breath hard catching my breath. I stick my hand to the wall, pulling my self against the wall and look around as I control my breathing.
-
Alex only holds onto Elijah, letting his legs and body float back as not to put too much weight on Elijah. Meanwhile, Elijah is holding in okay, but struggling to breath correctly. He looks to see the kind person who helped Velia. Good…Samuel would probably have another freak out…and he would to to be honest.
“So what…do we want to try? I could swim around at the bottom and see if there’s a button of some sort or something,” Elijah says in a bit of a choppy manner. Looking behind him to Alex, “You’d be able to manage right?”
Alex nods. They need to think quick.
-
Velia is barely staying afloat and holding on to Samuel. She takes her free hand and touches the wet dripping ceiling feebly trying to stop it. Samuel steadies her. If she sunk…he’d be alone…and it’d be his fault…
-
The scent of sulfur vanishes. There are now nine feet of water in the room, and one foot of air remains.
-
I use the water on the roof and create ice handles on the ceiling so people can hold themselves over the water with them. (They are in a U shape so your hands will have a less chance of sliding off.)
-
Velia grabs the ice handle in relief, and Samuel does the same.
“The cat can’t fall in the fire when it began to rain.” She says with a cough that now seems trademarked from her past drowning experience.
Samuel looks to the others and automatically responds “no one can die if we don’t try to live.”
-
Elijah allows Alex to grab onto the handles, then doing it himself, still being close to Samuel and Velia. One group…stay a group…stay a group. That’s what he keeps repeating in his mind.
Alex fumbles a bit, the ice cold on his hands but he deals with it, as everyone in the room likely is. He pauses for a moment, recalling Elijah saying he may swim to the bottom, he looks to Samuel and Velia.
“Might it be a good idea for someone to cautiously check the bottom of the room? Or…do you think there may be traps down there? Perhaps along the walls…?” By now Alex is just brainstorming aloud.
-
The strong scent of bacon enters the pockets of air moments before the surface of the water meets the ceiling.

The water – and ice – vanishes, causing everyone to drop unceremoniously to the dry concrete floor. There is no scent in the room and nothing has changed since before the water event.
A simple plate of rice, beans and fish appears at everyone’s feet, as well as a tall glass of water.
-
Velia blinks rapidly, as if she was convincing herself that she was hallucinating and failing, before taking deep breaths. She would get all the oxygen she could as fast as she could. Save and worship every bit. She looks to the food. It did t look good to her, as she was quite the picky eater, but she slowly allowed bit by bit for the food to go into her mouth. Samuel on the other hand lands next to her and is more thankful that somehow he was able to keep Velia alive then anything. He looks to the food and eats quickly, unable to fully realize how hungry he actually was. Then after eating he worried about breathing and began to take advantage of the now odorless oxygen.
-
I lay on the floor coughing but no water comes out. “What the hell?” I sit up looking at the food.
-
I look at the food and everyone else to see if anyone is going to eat it.
-
“Welcome, new kid.” She looks at Ian, waving slightly. “Good timing. You might have drowned, had you come an earlier. Pointing to the respective people in the room, she says, “Velia, Alex, Elijah, Samuel, Peli the goose, I, Stella, and Dakota. I’m Emmaline.”
((As soon as people join they just pop into existence.
Let’s pretend we all know each other’s names, alrightie?
Also, new person, you gotta post on the forum Actual RP.)) -
Ian asks for water after draining his own glass and thanks Emmaline for the warm welcome
