Welcome to Amestris State Military HQ!
The Amestris State Military is the main source of military offensive and political power in Amestris.
The Amestris State Military is the main military force in the land of Amestris for the manga/anime series Fullmetal Alchemist (鋼の錬金術師, Hagane no Renkinjutsushi) created by Hiromu Arakawa. Being a military state, most of the government, political, and economic power is run by the military. The commander-in-chief title is the Fuhrer, who is not elected by the people.
Branches of the Amestris State Military are separated into five separate regions at the four points of the country; Northern, Eastern, Southern, Western, and they are all under the command of the Central Forces based in the capital, Central City. The history of the State Military dates back as far as 1558 and the founding of the nation. It would spread out and conquer more nations into it’s fold to create the world power it became.
