Books (RP)
About
Its not what it seems it the world of books. It started in 2042 when the first book became real. In a strange little down that isn’t well known there were rumors going around. Rumors that books came to life. It started out with minor books at first. Little kiddy books that didn’t cause any harm so people just ignored it. It’s when the deeper darker books started coming to life that people began to freak out. It’s up to the book lovers to figure out what is going and if can be stopped or if they will have to live like this forever.

“Leo? What are you doing here? Where are we? What is this thing?” Annabeth gestures to Amato still pointing the knife at it.

“His name is Amato and he is an android. He won’t hurt us he is hear to help. He said that we are characters from books.” Leo says as he lets go of Annabeth. “He almost seems like one of Daedalus’ creations.”

“Hmm” Annabeth looks over Amato circling him “Maybe. Now what about this whole fictional character thing?”

“Several years back, fictional characters began to manefest.” Amato explains, “As of yet there has been little information gathered, the cause and solution remain unknown.” He paused for a second, uploading Annabeth into his database, “Do you wish to continue with the previous objective?” he glances towards Leo.

“What was the previous objective?” Annabeth asks looking at Leo who is still holding onto her

Leo blinks for a second having forgot then his eyes widen as he remembers, “Oh, that yeah. I would like to continue.”

Amato nods once, recalibrating his navigation software, “The most effective route is directly due north. Please follow.” he says, beginning to walk up the block.

“Hold up. What is going on here? Leo explain” Annabeth demands

Leo looks to her, “I’m trying to figure out if what he says is true. Plus I want to see if I can figure out how he works.” he grins then follows Amato.

Amato glances back at Leo, “If you wish, I could inform you of my internal mechanics and program.” They reached a smallish bookstore at the end of the block.

“I’m interested in finding out your internal workings.” Annabeth says following behind them.

Leo grins, “Okay”

Amato nods, “it is noted. I shall inform you at a more convenient time.” He holds the door open for the two of them, giving a slight respectful bow as he does.

“Why are we going to a bookstore?” Annabeth questions Amato

Leo looks to Annabeth, “I wanted to see if what he says is true.”
