Books (RP)
About
Its not what it seems it the world of books. It started in 2042 when the first book became real. In a strange little down that isn’t well known there were rumors going around. Rumors that books came to life. It started out with minor books at first. Little kiddy books that didn’t cause any harm so people just ignored it. It’s when the deeper darker books started coming to life that people began to freak out. It’s up to the book lovers to figure out what is going and if can be stopped or if they will have to live like this forever.

Amato nods, following them into the store, “I shall retrieve the requested literary work.” He quickly walked into the heart of the shop, an area lined with shelves and packed with books, then shortly returned holding a crisp hardcover copy of the first book and presents it to the two of them.

“what is this? The lost hero?” Annabeth looks at the book confused. ” What does this have to do with anything?”

Leo rolls his eyes at Annabeth, “Why don’t you open it and read oh miss daughter of wisdom.”

“You both appear in this series of books, as well as Annabeth appearing in the Percy Jackson series by the same author.” Amato explains, “The books were popular ranging from their publication to the earliy 2020’s, then gradually lost the mainstream audience ‘s attention.”

Annabeth opens the book and skims through the pages. “I want one of the Percy Jackson books now.” Annabeth demands

At the very back of the bookstore Guan Yu sits on the floor, reading.

Leo starts to walk around the book store but he pulls some bolts and other little things out of his tool belt as he starts to fiddle with them without realizing it. As he walks he stops when he sees Guan Yu. “Oh… umm hi”

Amato nods to Annabeth, “Please follow.” he shows her through the store then he runs into Guan Yu as well. Instantly, he recognises him and bows deeply and respectfully. He begins to formally greet him in an archaic dialect of Chinese that seemed to roll off his tongue more fluidly than English.

Leo looks to Amato and blinks.

Pushing himself up with the shaft of his glaive, Guan Yu bowed and returned the greeting.

Amato glances back at Leo and briefly explains the situation to Guan Yu, then picks up the book “the Lighting Thief” for Annabeth and tucks it under his arm. He turns toward Leo and began to explain, “He is Guan Yu, a general of the Han dynasty made famous from the historical novel ‘Romance of the Three Kingdoms'” He glances back towards Guan Yu, nodding to him again, “It’s quite the honor to meet him.”

Annabeth starts to read the book

“Oh okay” He looks to Guan Yu. “It’s nice to meet you I’m Leo.”

“It is good to meet you Leo” Guan Yu gives a short bow.

Leo grins the he was still messing with the gears in his hands.
