Books (RP)
About
Its not what it seems it the world of books. It started in 2042 when the first book became real. In a strange little down that isn’t well known there were rumors going around. Rumors that books came to life. It started out with minor books at first. Little kiddy books that didn’t cause any harm so people just ignored it. It’s when the deeper darker books started coming to life that people began to freak out. It’s up to the book lovers to figure out what is going and if can be stopped or if they will have to live like this forever.

Amato’s eyes change from black to an empty white color, “Administrative command…. Restarting.” His head lolls forward and the soft humming of his internal fan halts. He remains off for about a minuet, then his shoulders roll back, beginning to power back on. He blinked once and his eyes returned to their typical color and glanced around the area, regaining his bearings. Amato puts his hand on his chest and bows deeply, “Sincere apologies, my program did not account for unpublished works. The error is rectified, however I have direct orders from Master to further involve myself in your affairs. For that I beg your forgiveness, please continue to act favorably.” He bows once again.

Taren returns the bow. “It is nice to meet you. I am Anubis the Fourth, a god from Egyptian folklore. Although you may call me Taren. This is my brother Trigger.” Upon saying this, he gestured towards the red jackal. “And this is my sister-in-law, Alyssa.” He then gestured towards the orange creature. Upon hearing Amanto, he froze. “Un… published?” Trigger replied, “Nice going, Taren. Your research REALLY paid off, didn’t it?”

Leo waves to them, “Hi there I’m Leo and this is Annabeth. Sorry for freaking out a minute ago I’m still trying to get use to this whole thing.”

Annabeth slams the book shut, Ignoring the others she goes up to Amato. “I would like the second book.” she states in a stern voice

Amato nods and walks off into the store then returns to Annabeth holding the second volume, presenting it gracefully to Annabeth, then holds out his hand to her for the first book, “Do you wish for me to return the previous book?”

Annabeth trades the books and is about to walk away when she remembers how Percy is always telling her to be polite. “Thank you Amato.” She then walks to a chair and sits to read.

Amato nods and gives a slight emotionless smile, “It’s my pleasure.”

Annabeth opens the book and starts to read it while getting comfy in the chair.

Amato glances back to Leo and the others, “Pardon me, but do have any further tasks you wish for me to complete? I lack an active objective at the current moment.”

Guan Yu stroked his beard “If you could prepare some tea I would be most grateful. “

Amato nods, “Yes, however I don’t have the required materials, nor is the library a proper location for something such as that.” he glances back to the others, “If I may suggest it, there is a cafe across the street, perhaps we can continue the discussion there?”

Guan Yu nods sagely “if that is what they do here, let us go to this Cafe thing.”

“Then please follow me.” Amato bows slightly and begins to walk out of the library.

Leo looks to Annabeth, “Are you going yo come?”

Annabeth looks up at Leo then stands up “Sure, hopefully they have coffee there.” she says shutting her book.
