Village of the Demon Dogs near Bone Eater’s Well is located near Kaede’s Village. It is the dwellings of humans, hanyou and various Inu relatives. Located within The Legendary Demon Dog Forest. It’s a stop for curious and visiting travelers. Some refer to it as Inu’s Village.

*Inu who walked further ahead had other ideas of what it might be. He was having a hard time concentrating on the map. His ears kept pointing back to listen to his brother’s conversations. He imagined that the artifact would be a sword as Ryoga originally said.* I agree with Ryoga! *he grins* A sword sounds more like it! *He stops in an area where the roads split. He looks carefully at the map as the other quiet down for a moment.* We’re taking the left road! *He points* Come on!

*Smiles proudly and closed his eyes, head held high and confident after having heard that Inu agreed with him. He almost made the mistake of heading towards the right side of the path.* See! Inu bro agrees with me!

*Ranma wanted to laugh as he watched Ryoga walking towards the wrong road. He grabbed him by the back of the shirt.* Baka! We’re going this way! You were about to get lost again.

Tch! Ryoga! Get it together! *Inu’s impatience with Ryoga was felt in his voice.* Are you trying to compromise our missions? We aren’t even half way there yet!

*The trip to the Temple of Bau had taken several months. Ranma lit a fire as they camped out for the night. He looked at Ryoga who sat across from him.* Brother, I have a feeling, there’s some kind of magic at work here.

*Inu listened attentively to their conversation as he stood a top of a tall tree, on a strong branch that was able to hold his weight. His ears twitched. He realized the same thing that Ranma had noticed.* Hmm he might be right. *He could see that the distance between them and the temple had barely changed. He looked around to see if anything else was suspicious.*

*Koga had been asked to speed ahead and try to reach the temple but Koga also noticed that no matter how fast he ran, he was no were near the temple.* This is odd and frustrating!

*he leans forward a bit as he warms up near the fire.* What do you mean Ranma brother? Have you noticed something?

*He looks around and then looks at Ryoga.* Hai! I’ve noticed several things. I know you’re not good with direction, so you would not have picked up on this, but no matter how much we’ve been walking we haven’t gotten anywhere near the temple. At the rate we’ve been going we should have been close to it’s outer gates by now. Also, we thought we had not come across any trouble as we were making our way there, but we were wrong. I believe we are caught in an illusion of sorts right now. Someone or something, doesn’t want us reaching the temple.

*Ryoga contemplated om this for a moment and he nodded. Although he didn’t have a good sense of direction, the second part of Ranma’s statement resonated with him.* You’re right brother! Something is off. We haven’t even encountered any humans or otherwise on our way there. The trip has been overly peaceful, that makes this all the more suspicious.

*Koga looked flustered as he approached them. He took a seat by the fire.* Looks like we’ve come to the same conclusion. No matter how far I tried to move forward, I was still within distance for my demon wolf ears to hear your conversation. I’m sure Inu has already heard everything. We are in the middle of a trap. So kind of magic bullshit that wont let us move forward. *he growls*

*Inu climbs down from the tree.* Whoever cast this spell is gonna get a can of whoop ass when I get my claws on them! Tch! You’re right Ranma bro, I can also pick up a faint scent of another who is watching us. @sirene
Let Koga and me do a little recon. You two stay here. *he goes off with Koga into the night to see what more they can figure out about their situation.*

Yuri: *Yuri sat up in a tree watching Inu, Koga, Ryoga and Ranma trying to reach the temple. She would snicker and pull the strings to work her magical illusion. * I’ll get my revenge for what you did to Yura… Inuyassha! You’ll see! You’ll see!
*She coquettishly wrapped the strands of hair she got from them around her fingers. * I guess I could say I have you wrapped around my finger.
