Sacred Satou Family Cemetery

  • *Holding silver roses, Tessa sticks one behind Tetsu’s ear after having heard his remark.* You do realize, you shouldn’t be one to talk brother, you’re drinking a vanilla shake after all. *she then puts the roses on Otose’s grave and says a prayer.* I hope you find happiness wherever you are grandmommy Otose!

  • *Kaname noticed Damiana crying. She went over and held her for a while. Then took her by the hand and brought her over to where mommy Helena was sitting. She sat there and handed Damiana some chamomile tea. There were so many interesting feelings at the cemetery. There was pain, sadness, hope, the bond of family, respect and even happiness. That interested her the most. She heard the elders speak and was amazed how they talked so easily about death. A gentle passing into another realm. She understood. Having a sis like Momo and other shinigami family members made it easier to take in the news. It still hurt because it felt like a family would go away on a long trip they would probably not see them again for a long time but she also knew, that the family was always together in body, soul and mind. She took out some tea for herself and leaned against the tree watching everyone.*

  • *He arrived at the cemetery with Momo. He pays his respect to Lady Otose and then turns into his shinigami cat from with bat wings. He goes over and curls into his mother Helena’s lap. He could listen to the conversations and understood all the different emotions that were being felt at the moment. He knew all about the passage of time which the elders would be crossing. He might be one of those guiding them but he believed Rinne and Ageha wanted the privilege. He knew he could visit this realm anytime so he was at peace with it all. But he would miss them in the physical world, since the elders were always so much fun.*

  • *Momo roamed the cemetery listening to the conversations of both the living and the dead.*

*As he enters the graveyard, he notices that Momo’s hair is light blue. He opens his arms and embraces  her.* Hello sis! I see many are already gathered here. *he greets everyone, then heads over to Lady Otose’s tombstone and places roses on them and pays his respects. Then he sits with everyone else to have some tea.*

*Helena had foreseen the words that Ageha would bring to her and her cousin Noloty. She would listen intently and nod to show she was understanding. She finally got up and hugged each of the elder ladies lovingly.* I understand! I wish you did not have to go but that would be selfish of me. I know the other realm will be serene and you will be reunited with old friends and family. If you need me to speak to Hadesu about letting you come here on a special arrangement. I would be honored to do so on your behalf. Noloty and I have seen this realm and we are sure we will be able to see you. I will comfort my husband, family and younger family members so that they understand. *She handed them each tea, and pastries.* brother Kin also brought food! Please, indulge as  much as you please. It is inevitable that everyone mourn. It’s a way of understanding and accepting what we are unable to control. This is life. *She looks at them and then hugs them each again.* I will do my best to guard the universe and my family! This I promise you!

  • *Gentoka makes his way to the cemetery escorted by Kinzou & Keiichi. He decided to bring a violin and play a melodic tune in memory of Lady Otose and those he could hear would be departing soon. He was in tune with everything. He wasn’t sad because he could see the sweet happy souls that seemed to visit the cemetery. His blindness allowed him to enhance skills he didn’t even know he possessed. Playing the violin in a delicate way to soothe the uneasy souls there was one of those talents.*

  • *Kinzou and Keiichi had arrived with Gentoka. They made sure he didn’t trip over anything and then when he was at the right spot and took out his violin, they both moved a little further from him to allow him some leeway. They went over to their aunts, uncles, grand aunties and grand uncles to console them. Then they made their way to their grandmommy Helena, they both hugged her and took some of the tea she offered. Keiichi took some for his parents. Then they sat quietly and respectfully listening to the music and listening to the adults talking. They took some of the pastries and food, then looked at each other.*

Kinzou: Lady Otose was amazing. She was so ballsy!

Keiichi: Kinzou brother! Don’t say that! She was a spunky lady. *he smiles softly.*

Kinzou: Call it what you want. *he shrugs*

*She had remained at a small gazebo nearby and despite the short distance between the gazebo and where the gathering was taking place, she could hear the conversations clearly. She was leaning against the rails, with arms and legs crossed and eyes closed, embracing the soft passing breeze. She can sense Noloty’s sadness as the elders speak and understood why she was silent. She wondered if this realm they speak of was located at the retreat where she had encountered Queen Hild. The island was so amazingly peaceful that it would calm even the most restless of souls. She opens her eyes and watches as the family also indulge on some pastries and tea, however she preferred to remain where she was and observe for she felt that she was still fairly new to this incredible clan.

  • *Tamaki walked with her mother Tama and placed roses on Lady Otose’s gravesite.  She remained close to Tama since she had never been to this place. She was a little frightened and she couldn’t help but feel sad seeing some family members sharing their emotions. But then she looked over to other family and they sat eating and drinking. She pulled on her mother’s skirt.* So, is all this in honor of Lady Otose? *She was interested in the way that the family handled their grief.*

*He returned from his trip in order to pay his respects to Lady Otose. She had been an inspiration to him and a lot of help when he started working at the snack house. He never knew how to repay his debt to her but now he realized he had to try to return more often to take care of all that she loved.*

*He was completely lost trying to find the graveyard. Finally, Koga came over and dragged him to the place. He was blushing from bring lost and scolded by Koga. He then got up and headed over to Lady Otose’s tombstone where he poured some white rice wine and said a prayer. He then went over to sit with the rest of the family and have some of the tea being offered.*

*Jotaro stands quietly at the gravesite holding a large bouquet of white roses. He came to pay tribute to the elders whom he had grown to respect. He put the roses on the gravesite of the first elder to depart which was Lady Otose. And then the turned around, he looked back for a moment.* Arigato! *then he walked away from the cemetery.*

*Leuko heads to his mother Kasumi’s burial site and puts flowers on her grave. He sits there for a moment in meditation and then whispers.* Happy Mother’s Day!
