*Crewe hides behind a crumbling pillar trying to stay out of view of the Beholder. Having only read about such creatures from books, seeing this monstrosity of a beast in real life was terrifying. Crewe looks back around to see the Beholder not looking his way. Crewe watches carefully before sending out three bolts of ice not at the Beholder but instead towards a half toppled over pillar next to it*

*Rika arrives at the Borderlands with her sniper team and before she makes the next move, she signals her team to stop and cover as she began to scan the surrounding area* So far its safe to move forward. Let’s heads East! It will lead us to the hideout, check on the refugees and then return back home. Understood! *She receives an affirmative answer and they begin their journey. Eventually they would face unexpected creatures and she and her team would strike in unison and keep moving forward* Get out of my way, beasts! *She was in her mutant form and she had the ability to know the enemies next move which was an advantage for her team to strike* Great job! We are almost near, the tower is over there! *She points at the direction of the tall building and kept walking. Suddenly something caught her attention.  At the other side of the forest, she sees a fiery light in mid air and was surprised that it launched a fireball towards a giant, turning it into ash* Wow!! Whoever this person is has great powers! *She notices that a few other giants were on their way to where the one was attacked* Dammit, they will get to close to the tower! Load your guns with the specialized bullets! We can’t allow those giants to get close to the hideout! *As she and her team runs towards the tower, little did she know that she will bump into a survivor with similar abilities as hers*

*Jean was running as fast as she could as the loud growl of one of the giants echoed in her ears, making her even more frantic and rushing for her life. And despite it all, she still had questions about this new world she had entered, the whereabouts of her friends and most importantly if she was ever to return back to Earth. She closed her eyes for brief seconds and suddenly she drops to the ground* Ouch!!! *She sits up and notices that she bled a bit through her nose then begins to feel dizzy* Damn!! What did I bump into? *She can hear a voice echoing through her dizziness and with a blurry vision, sees the silhouette of a female extending her hand. The voice suddenly got silent but she can continue to hear it but via telepathy. She immediately nods her head and waves *No, no! I’m ok! Just a bit of a nosebleed! *She manages to stand up and her vision becomes clear and sees a female standing in front of her with a questioning face* What’s wrong?

*Rika’s speed is doubled when she’s in mutant form and as she rushed her way to the giants to distract them, she quickly looked back to check on her team then as she turns to look forward, that’s when she crashed with what she thought was a human* Holy shit! *She rushes to the female that laid passed out on the ground and quickly checked her pulse* She’s alive! Uff!! That was close!! *She quickly calls out one of her men for help while thinking if the female was ok and possibly need any medical assistance but she was stunned to hear the female reply back to her. Rika turns around and sees that the female was standing up then replies to her question* You read my thoughts! Are you a telepath?

OMG!! Are you a mutant?!?! *She felt a sudden happiness knowing that someone like her was here in this strange world* Are there others? By any chance have you seen a few of them here? *She was referring to her friends who were at the spaceship with her*

[Rika SniperSugarSpirit Minami]

*Rika raises an eyebrow when she hears the least favorite word come out of the female’s mouth. She was about to answer but instead she yells out* Watch out!! *She runs at full speed then leaps mid air, forming a katana with pure energy and slices the hand off a giant. She lands back to the ground and runs towards the female* Follow me!!

*Notices that the female was not impressed when called a mutant however she did admire the fact that she was still willing to help her to safety. She agrees to follow her but realizes that they were running the opposite direction* Wait! The tower is over there!

[Rika SniperSugarSpirit Minami]

I know! But there are a few more giants and I need to lure them further west. I can’t have them close to the hideout and put the refugees in danger. We need to make sure that they crossover to the new world safely! Don’t worry, we’re not alone! *As she runs west, she uses her gun and shoots a bullet to the sky. In matter of minutes, bullets were being shot from a short distance, targeting the giant that was after them regardless of his missing hand* Once the giants are far enough, I will take you to the hideout! I promise!

*She checks the surroundings and realized that the female was right and she herself understood what it means to save others for this was something that she also did back at Earth. She nods her head in agreement and follows her* Just lead the way, miss! I trust that your judgement…oh and by the way, my name is Jean. Jean Grey.

*As she kept walking at a faster pace, she turns to her and smiles* My name is Rika, Chief Rika Minami! *She heads deeper into the forest which made it a bit difficult for the giants to see due to the vast trees. She also took advantage and created an illusion, making the giants believe that the females had run further west* Careful! *Quickly grabs Jean by the arm and pulls her towards a tree. She kneels down and continues to focus on making the giants run further away*

Pleasure to meet you, Chief Rika! Military?!? *She was fascinated that a soldier was in this strange world. She felt that she needed to ask more questions; just the fact alone that she bumped into another mutant peaked her curiosity. She observes her as she follows her and through her Phoenix eyes, she can see her mutant aura* Fascinating! Whoa!! *She suddenly felt Rika pulled her arm and hid behind a tree. She sees a giant foot step right where she was but was perplexed when the giants keeps on walking. Other giants behind this one was following and were heading further away from them and the hideout. When there was not a single trace of any giants and no present danger was near them, she smiles* Your telepathic powers are amazing!

*After waiting a few more minutes to make sure that they were safe, she turns around and slightly smiles* You can tell how I’m using my powers! I bet you must have plenty of questions but first let’s take care of what matters first which is your safety! *She can hear a beep coming from her ear piece and let’s her unit know that all is ok. She gives the order to meet up with her and Jean at the hideout* Let’s get out of here! I thought these giants any intelligence but I don’t want any surprises either! *They begin to walk back to the hideout* Earlier you asked if there were others? Do you mean like a team? I notice you have some kind of uniform on.

*Chuckles* Well…where I’m from, I’m a Omega Level Mutant. I was born with telekinesis and telepathy and I’m also the host of one power that I truly have a conflict with. The Phoenix Force! But I can tell that you are also a Omega Level Mutant however, you don’t seemed to be too impressed about it. *She can see the tower where the hideout is at and felt relieved* Are you also from Earth?

I see! Me? Omega Level Mutant?!? *chuckles* Nah! I on the other hand was not born with this ability, it was “gifted” to me when I defeated the creature that did possess this power. *Spots the tower and sighs with huge relief* The other friends you are looking for, are they also….mutants? *It felt strange for her to even mention the word but she was curious about this female, especially about her conflict with a power that was believed to be a myth*
