*Josuke sat up. He felt his back was hurting and his head spinning.* Geez what the hell? *he felt like he had falling out of the sky and onto the floor. His eyes slowly adjusted to the light and the environment around him.* Hmm? Where am I? *Little did he know what Jotaro and Jovelle were already on their way to get him. He began to stand up and straighten himself up. He began to walk around but he wasn’t even sure at this moment where he was going. All he saw were ruined buildings with trees growing around them and then he felt what he thought was an earth quake.* Are you kidding me? *Only to see the shadow of a giant.* This can’t be good.

*Jovelle and Jotaro had entered the borderlands. They made sure to stay out of site of any of the giants there. They already knew a good path to head towards the southern end of the borderlands.* Grandpa said that he and Lady Helena pinpointed the area where Josuke would appear. *She points in the direction they were instructed to go.* He has to be over there. And there’s a giant heading in that direction. Let’s hurry!

*He follows behind Jovelle who had already learned the map. He was impressed by her photographic memory. He then looked around and noticed the shadow too.* I hope that kid doesn’t panic! Let’s hurry! *they began running.* If he sees that giant he might hide. I mean, seeing that first is kinda shocking to anyone just arriving here.

*Josuke was certainly shocked when he saw the shadow and realized what might be moving towards him. He thought carefully about what to do. He decided he would hide in one of the empty buildings.* I have to figure out where I am and what’s going on with this place and I doubt, whatever that is, that it’s friendly. *he quickly dove into a first floor window and hid against the wall while looking out the window.* It’s huuuuuge!!

*Jovelle chose to conceal herself behind and old trolley car that had been tilted over sideways. She watched as the giant looked around and completely missed when Josuke jumped in through the window but Jovelle caught it. She looks back at Jotaro and points at the window without saying a word. They wait for the giant to pass.*

*Jotaro nodded toJovelle and kept an eye on the giant. He was still further back in an old abandoned store where he hid his presence. He looked around to see if any other giants were coming but there was nothing. So they did their best and waited. The creatures that had at one point been attacking had not appeared. He figured these might have moved closer to a more densely forested area or were in an area where there might be more activity. The place seemed completely abandoned. Once the giant was out of sight. He ran forward towards Jovelle.* Sis, let’s do this quickly. If he panics, there’s not telling what will happen out here.

*She looks around as she listens to her brother. She nods.* Let’s do this! *Then runs for the building and makes sure to say something before climbing in the window.* Josuke! Don’t panic! Alright! It’s Jotaro and me!

*Jotaro was looking out the window to see if the giants were still walking by. There were not sign of them. But he noticed something weird, it looked like a giant disfigured tarantula.* There’s something outside. I’ll go out and lure it away.

*She stops him.* No! Hold on brother! That’s one of those creatures that grandpa told us to be careful about. It spits some kind of acid. Let’s make sure that’s the only one before we jump out there.
