*Helena had arrived with food,  she put down the food and saw the frightened Mystia.  She quietly walks up behind her, picks her up and hugs her.* Don’t cry! *She looks over to Hikari*  Hikari! She was probably caught in that monitor.  *she then turns Mystia towards her and smiles* Don’t worry, She wont kill you! She’s just being cautious! *wipes the tears from her face* It’s alright you’re safe now.

*Hikari looks at Mystia and lowers her guard a bit but still a bit suspicious.* Lady Helena, my queen! You shouldn’t just pick up everyone you see so casually. *She sighs* My name is Hikari and I protect those trying to get to safety from this region. Who are you? *She looks at Mystia*

*She clings onto Helena tightly, well as tightly as she can with those stupidly long nails of hers* I’m Mystia *sniffle* a night sparrow, and I’m on my last life! If I die again, that’s it, game over, but the humans in the computer they keep trying to kill me! *she points at the monitor, her hand trembling*

*Hikari listens carefully.* I see! So you were actually stuck in that monitor. *She bows* Forgive me for being so rough pulling you out. I have been in battle mode since I arrived here and so I’m cautious. I wont hurt you. The lady who’s holding you softly is Helena, and I am Hikari. It’s nice to meet you miss Mystia. We’ll take you inside the hide out. *she wondered if she should pursue the ominous man that tried to leave the monitor outside the hide out.*

*Helena  picked up the basket of food and water with one hand and carried Mystia into the hide out with the other. She could feel Mystia’s claws digging through her clothes and a bit of her skin but she didn’t mind. She knew Mystia was nervous. She just kept holding her gently. She smiles* Mystia, such a lovely name. We’ll take you somewhere safe after we leave the borderlands. *She was referring to the orphanage.* In the meantime, *she opened the basket and put out the food and water for everyone there.* Hikari, we should take her to Rosy Cross. Don’t pursue the ominous man. I have a bad feeling he will run right into the lair of the malicious wizards.

*Hikari listens to Helena. She puts down her weapons momentarily and washes her hands. She then helps distribute food and see who might be there that they could escort past the border and into the new world.*

Arigato Hikari! *She heads over to the book that the refugees were signing and looks through the names.* So many have passed through here already. They leave each other signs of encouragement. Let’s hurry Hikari! I have to return soon. There’s a meeting at the empire we need to attend.

Hai! *She finishes gathering up those that were there. After they ate, Hikari picked up her weapon again. They went through a hidden path which lead them all to a tall tower. Once inside, they walked up the spiral staircase which led them to the gates that opened into the new world. From there, they took the refugees to different places where they would be housed and fed.*

*Hikari’s family spared no expenses in sending food and drinks to those waiting to be rescued at the temporary hide out. She noticed more arrivals and brought several baskets of sandwiches, she brought water and plenty of fruits. She pulled them along the trail on a cart and was glad to see she had enough. She also had some blankets in case they were waiting for others to arrive. She looked at the sign in to see if there was anyone waiting for family on the other side.* So many of them. The old world must be completely filled with corruption. *She read the names and the messages. And then told the refugees to remain in the safety of the hide out while she scouted the area.* Hi! How are you all? You’re safe here! No need to worry. There is a map of how to get from the hide out to the tower and exit into the new world but make sure once you leave here that you do not hear the footsteps of flesh eating giants and don’t allow any other creatures here to follow you. They are dangerous. If this happens return to the hide out at once, for your safety. *she then walked outside*

*Alyssa swiftly brought the injured Kyouko to the hideout. Once they reach and pass the warding barrier, they could finally catch a break. Kyouko lays down on a couple of old bean bags once they get inside the hideout.* Miss Alyssa, a…arigato… *Her voice is weak but steady. She closes her eyes and tries to relax, but not fall asleep.*

You didn’t leave… anything important… behind on the ship did you?

“Nope! I actually have my luggage stored in a safe zone my dad set up. And the only thing of importance from the ship is right here.” She takes a flash drive from her pocket, and holds it up to show the stranger.

*Kyouko opens her right eye briefly to take a look at the flash drive, but since she’s not familiar with technology and because of her blurry vision she mistakes it for a candy bar.* I see. Yes, food is very important. Does it have hazelnuts in it?

“What? …Oh! No, no, this isn’t food. This is a flash drive. …Wait, is technology very advanced around here?”

I don’t know, I’m not from around here… but talking about candy bars made me hungry…
*She slowly gets up and looks around for anything that could be food, but since her vision is still blurry she can’t really identify anything she sees. She decides to wander around for a bit, using her broom for support as she limps. She comes across one of Hikari’s maps to the new world gate while wandering, but of course is unable to read it in her state.*
Alyssa, what does this say? It looks important… maybe.

Alyssa follows behind, removing what looks like a deck of cards from her pocket and looking through them. Soon, they come across the map. “Hmm, let me see.”
