Makoto brought up the back of the group, holding his staff in front of him as a casual defensive gesture, still walking with a fairly relaxed gait despite the gravity of the situation. He looks at the sheep with a smile, jogging a couple steps to catch up with Elis, “Whoa~ nice summon!” He commended, looking over the sheep with an approving nod, “Rarely get to see spells like that. I’m happy to work with such a talented mage as yourself!” He said with a grin.
-
Elis blushes and tugs his hat a little lower, his tail swishes out and twirls, “I’m still only a beginner,” the Sheep bleats up at Elis.
-
Makoto chuckles, holding his staff behind his back with both hands, “Even still, I hear summoning spells are quite hard.” He grinned brightly, “Even if you are a newbie, you certainly aren’t without talent.”
-
Elis scratches his head, slightly embarressed, peering back at his tail “not without some accidents, once a connection is established it gets easier.”
-
Makoto tilted his head to the side a little, absently beginning to twirl a lock of hair between his fingers, “Ah… my training was different, rebounds for Prayer are usually really light.” He said with a shrug, “Overusing it usually just makes me tired or pass out, although I’ve read before that using a Prayer too advanced can have worse rebound.” He glanced over at him with a stunning grin, “Well, lets just hope it doesn’t come to that, right?”
-
“Can you two talk about this later? We are in the middle of something right now.” Arrenadd says sounding slightly annoyed.
-
Makoto let out a small chuckle and ran a hand through his hair, “You’re right, sorry, sorry~” he said and put a hand in his pocket, “Have you found traces of monsters or anything around here?”
-
Arrenadd glares at him for a second before he looks around again, “A few but not enough to worry about yet.”
-
The sheep bounces between patches of long grass, Elis glancing around nevously.
-
Arrenadd looks to Elis then back to the forest, “Don’t let them smell your fear or nervousness. It will get you killed.”
-
“I can tell.” Arrenadd says bitterly before he stops abruptly, looking around.
-
Elis pulls his staff across his body defencively, his sheep bleats, digging its feet in and fluffing its wool.
-
Arrenadd readies his bow knocking an arrow on it as he aims at something in the trees.
-
Elis slowly shifts on his feet, gripping his staff tighter, the bell letting out a soft tinkle.
