*Thorny Toshi holds on to Soji tightly to keep him from falling. He grabs Helena’s hand.* No sis, if you healing him now, you wont have enough essence for what’s ahead. Soji will be alright, he just needs the potion and time at the healing center. He must have left before he could heal. *He sees Gin approaching.* Hurry! We need to speak Gin!

*Gin sees Toshi, Soji and his wife Helena. He notices Soji is fainted. He puts his sword away.* Oi! What happened? Where’s my son Leo? *he grabs Soji’s wrist and feels his pulse* He’s alive but his pulse is week. *He looks realizes that Soji must have come to help Helena with Leo but wasn’t ready to take on the task.* What now? *he looks to Toshi and Helena to see if they had devised a plan.*

*Toshi looks at Gin.* The best strategy is for you and Helena to try to stop Leo from heading into the foggy forest. And I advise you and Helena not to go in there without me. Helena sis will explain it all to you as you walk in that direction. *He points to the path where he can see Leo moving.* I can see and sense him from here. I know he hasn’t reached that place yet. It would be best if he didn’t. I will be waiting here with Soji as I communicated with Shuhei to come get him. *he then puts his hand on Gin’s shoulder* Remember brother-in-law! Do not go in the foggy forest without me. It will be a disaster if you do. And keep my beautiful sister safe. Get a move on before Leo is too far ahead of you! *he sent them both on their way. Toshi picks up Soji and begins to walk back the way he came hoping Shuhei gets there fast enough so that he can quickly return to Helena and Gin’s side.* You’ll be alright Soji brother, don’t worry. Everything will be alright!

*Gin listens intently and nods.* Oi! Who do you think you’re talking to? Of course I’ll take care of Helena. You take care of Soji! *he looks over to the path where Toshi had pointed to.* Helena, *he takes her hand.* Get ready, if we have to fight to get to our son Leo, we’ll fight hard because we wont let him suffer alone! *They then distanced themselves from Toshi as they headed through the path.*

*After leaving the Purple Orchid Spa, Shuhei rushed to meet up with his brother Thorny Toshi. As he arrived he noticed Shuhei practically lifeless in his arms. As Shuhei stopped in front of Toshi, he greeted his brother and then he put his long sanguine hair in a ponytail and took Soji from Toshi’s arms.* I sensed Soji had left the healing center without being fully recovered, he doesn’t realize the delicacy of his own situation. *he holds his brother gently and looks over to Toshi.* Big brother, are you sure you do not need me to come back for this mission? This hunter we were investigating, we still know little about him. *he shook his head* I won’t keep you much longer, it would be best if you reached Helena, Gin and Leo before they get too close to the edge of that foggy forest. The hunter might get bold and expand his hunting area. We don’t want them to get hurt or caught by that strange new menace. Best of luck brother. *he said as he turned to depart with Soji.* Don’t worry brother Soji, you’ll be healing in no time. I’ll take good care of you! *he disappeared into the distance and left the ruins as he headed back to the healing center.*

*Helena feels Gin’s firm grip on her hand and she squeezes him back to assure him she’s ready to do whatever is needed to get back Leo safely.* Gin love! Let’s hurry! *She then explains the circumstances to Gin.* I’m sure you noticed that brother Soji seems to have left the healing center without finishing his treatment. He was ready to fight to. But that is not the matter that brother Soji spoke up. It seems that he and Shuhei were investigating a human, one that seems to have a grudge against all creatures and doesn’t discriminate. He’ll hunt down any creature, he doesn’t seem to care of it’s benevolent or malevolent. *She looks at him concerned. We can’t go into the forest. Remember the heightened sense brother Toshi has is what got him and Shuhei out of the forest unharmed by the hunter. He says that he knows nothing else about the hunter but going in the foggy forest will be a disadvantage to us. *She would carefully look around and look towards where Toshi told them Leo was.* Gin love! There he is!

*He’s listening to his wife Helena while keeping his focus on the area around them. He also sees Leo coming into view.* Helena, this hunter, how can he be completely human with such skills. *He then shook his head* Well, I’m sure one that practices enough would be capable enough. *He then pulls Helena faster towards Leo and makes sure to reach him. Helena and Gin surround Leo in a hug. And Gin looks around, he then looks at his son.* Leo! We’re taking you back home! It’s not safe to be out here and you aren’t feeling well son.

*Helena lovingly hugs her eldest son Leo, but she notices something in his eyes, as if he had snapped. It was a hint of madness rising. So she looked at Gin. * Gin love, we need to force him out of here quickly! Leo son, please, come home with us. You have a family still waiting for you. What happened in the battlefield, is not your fault! Gentoka is alive, and we can continue to treat him and see if he can recover his eyesight. So, please son, let us go home.

*After Shuhei left with Soji, Thorny Toshi turned and hurried towards Helena, Gin and Leo increasing his nosferatu velocity in time to shield Gin’s back from an oncoming arrow.* We must move away, we’re to close to the foggy forest and the hunter has spotted us! *he said to them, he was amazed to see that Gin had noticed the arrow heading towards him as Gin had already removed the sword from its sheath and had swung it towards the arrow but Toshi had already ducked down to avoid a fatal hit from Gin’s sword. It was almost terrifying the movements of the demon lord. He then stood up and broke the arrow in his hand.* Hurry! Let’s get a move on! Leo! Stop struggling! You’ll get us all killed! *he could smell the deadly poison on the arrow the hunter had released.*

*Leo was having a hard time focusing. He was aware of who was around him. He was doing his best to contain himself from pushing them away. His demon tiger stripes were beginning to show on his skin, his anguish and guilt where riddling his mind with unbearable thoughts about not protecting his eldest son Gen. He looked to his parents to help him but he couldn’t get himself to form the words or to move. He felt like a beast ready to unleash a certain madness from deep within. He felt his parents move in and surround him. They were filled with a warmth that kept him from completely losing his mind. Finally, the words formed and he spoke.* Mom, dad, help me! Please! *His hands trembled and a strange tremor was felt beneath their feet.* Help! *His claws began to form and the blue demon flames mingled with silver were starting to form around his body.* I can’t contain it any longer!

*Toshi could sense an increase in unstable powers from Leo but Toshi could not look at him, he was focused on the sounds and any slight shift within the foggy forest. they were too close to it. He walked backwards, he carefully pushed his back against Gin as he tried to give them a push so they would start moving away from the area.* You have to move Leo away from here. The hunter is definitely watching us and waiting for an opening. I’m doing my best not go give him that momento!

*Gin understood what Toshi was doing, he felt the push and Gin took the cue. He carefully would move as he tried to talk to his son Leo.*Oi! Leo son, don’t panic! *His heart broke looking into his son’s eyes, that of a father who failed to protect what he loved.* Son, we can’t win every battle, Gen is alive and well and we have to give him a reason to live! Don’t give into the powers, they are unstable right now! *he could hear a shift behind him and he sense that Toshi had tensed up.* We need to move!

*As they moved away from the foggy forest, Helena tenderly hugged her son.* Leo! That’s why we are here to help you. *Helena did what she did best, she would have to release her sacred essence onto her son Leo so that he could stabilize his growing powers. The unstable power meant he could go berzerk and kill without discrimination.* Leo son, listen to me! You didn’t fail Gen but you will fail him if he loses you here in the battlefield like this. You will wound his pride if you don’t return and tell him how proud you are of him. He’s grown and ready for war and it’s consequences. He’s at the healing center and he’s recovering, and he’ll recover quicker if you are there! *She kissed her son’s forehead and all of them were surrounded by the blinding light of Helena’s essence.*

*Toshi was ever prepared. He had put on his special sunglasses. He knew his sister’s essence could make a vampire’s eyes bleed and even make them blind. He was given the special sunglasses long ago by his nephew Leo.* These sure are coming in handy. *He realizes that the hunter was probably blinded by the sun like energy of his sister Helena.* Gin! Let’s take this chance to move quickly out of sight!

Oi Toshi! You done giving me orders?! *He snapped back. But Gin knew this was a good opportunity, he grunted as he picked up both Helena and Leo and ran while carrying them both doing his best not to disrupt Helena’s connection to her son.* Leo! Hang in there! *he said and picked up the pace.*
