*she looks through trying to find out any information on who this Damania actually was, and if she was any connection to herself. She hadn’t been told much, but all she had found out from word of mouth was the there was a rumour from years ago that this lady Damania had abandoned a young child in the care of Lord Death and his son* This lady can’t be anything to me… I mean I was abandoned in Death the Kidd’s care, but I was too young to know anything about who left me and why. Let’s hope I can find out something useful.

*Kyo-Ichigo had granted passage to Leuko for entry into the library to see if Rose had found anything useful in her search.* Rose grandniece! What have you found? *he leans over here and looks to see what material she was looking at.* So, Death The Kidd was your adoptive father. *he rubs his chin.* If we could communicate with him, perhaps we can learn more about the lady Damania. *He looked through more books in the shelves.* Maybe she assisted the shinigami world somehow but wasn’t directly linked to it like Death The Kidd. Let’s search in the area which lists those who helped out in Hades.

  • *She noticed that someone was in the library. She floated in. Her white silver hair flowing behind her. She would then put her right foot on the ground and then her left foot.* Hello uncle Leuko and niece Rose. Rose chan heard from uncle Kyo-Ichigo that you are doing research on your parents. *She shakes her head.* These books do not contain any more information than what you are looking for. Wait here! *she then passes into another chamber and comes back with a different book.* Rose chan, I will show you some information on your true parents but I’m not sure how helpful this will be. *She put down a book that had a lock on it. She took a key that was on her necklace and opened the book. A bright light would appear in the room and an orb.* She looks at Rose, your parents names and origins are as follows: “Damania Vansacano, the Lady Ruler of the Southern Vampires, and Manson Wolfienar, the Wolf Leader of the Northern Tribe.” During the times, those two tribes were enemies. But I shall stop there. Look into the orb and you will see the story of your parents. This book is yours to keep but you must take it to the safety of the Library at Yggdrasil temple where no one but your descendants may have a look at it. *she take the key from her chain and puts it in Rose’s hands.* You should have this. I have plenty of shinigami duties to fulfill! I hope this was useful. *she then disappears.*

*she was grateful for the help her uncle was giving her in searching through the books. Until her aunt informed her that there was no more information in those books than what she knew already* I see. *she waited as her aunt vanished and returned later with a book that was locked* This book is mine? *she was shocked as her parents names where now revealed and she was surprised that the lady she’d been looking for information on lately was actually her mother* Thank you aunt Momo. *she held the key and the book close to her chest, as a tear fell down her cheek* I now know who they are… but it’s just raised more questions that need answered. *she nods* I think I will go to the Library at Yggdrasil and see if any of those questions can be answered. I truly appreciate all the help. *she bows before she heads off to Yggdrasil.*

*Lord Hadesu was glad that the clan had been able to retrieve several books of the dead that should never have been in human hands. He carefully stashed them away and thought of the upcoming Samhanian events where he would have to send out a larger number of soul collectors to help shepherd wandering souls.*

*Momo was at the Library of the World of the Dead with Yukiko. @savvydemonflameyukii

The Library of the World of the Dead is obviously, not your avarage library; it’s a sprawling, ancient and sentient repository of knowledge with books mainly focused on the afterlife and even a vault of books detailing lives that have passed through the realm of the afterlife. The air is cool, tinged with the scent of old parchment, dust motes dance in the ethereal light filtering through stained-glass windows depicting scenes of death and rebirth. Books are bound in bone, leather from mythical beasts, and even solidified shadows. Some whisper secrets when touched.

The librarians are predominantly spectral beings, though a few living scholars, with special permission, also frequent the halls.

For some reason Yukiko came asking Momo questions regarding knowledge about Samsara, the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth. Momo, at first reluctant, decided that rather than refusing to take her sister to the Library of the World of the Dead, she would grant her permission as long as she went along with her. *

Sis, just remember to stick with me and I definitely want to know the reason for your visit. What do you want to find in these books? And why do you want to know about the wheel of reincarnation? I have spoken to you in length about this before.

*She was picking out some books that her sister was allowed to look through.*

  • *Yukiko followed Momo through long halls, as she looked around she found herself standing before a towering shelf lined with books bound in shadow. A spectral librarian, its form flickering like candlelight, glides towards you. It speaks in a voice like rustling leaves: “Welcome, seeker. You seek knowledge of Samsara. Tell me, what thread of understanding do you pursue?”

*She looks at Momo as if wondering if she would answer this question but realized it was her call.*

Librarian sama! I wish to research books detailing any books on this subject that themselves can be dangerous, whispering misleading information, projecting illusions, or even physically attacking those who misuse them. I’m of the belief, I saw a patient of mine obsessed with a book of this nature. I want to research these in order to know how to best deal with the book and the one holding on to it.

*She spectral libriarian leads Yukiko and Momo to a certain section of the library and leaves them to their research. She notices Momo picking a few books.* It’s a patient that has arrived in my care with a book of this nature. *Referring to what she asked the librarian.* It would be easy if the book is a fake but something about it gave me chills. And I’m glad you are with me. It might be something you and I will have to deal with together.

  • *Now she understood why she found her sister roaming the Kyokai Border Lands. There was something she was inspecting and it was rare for her sister to tap into Momo’s shinigami powers in order to use them for herself. She realized her sister was verifying something regarding the book that made her uneasy. Momo put down several books in front of Yukiko.*

Sis! No matter what the outcome is, I will be sure to help. We need to be careful, because digging into the secrets of Samsara might attract unwanted attention from powerful entities, such as deities, demons, or cosmic forces who guard the balance of the universe.

It is possibe, this person doesn’t realize that, and that is only if they have a legitimate book. Is this patient of yours trying to change the consequences of their cosmic destiny or simply believe that they will have some sort of power on the matter of reincarnation with this book? Interfering with Samsara is taboo and for a human would have devastating consequences.

When we finish our research, let us go see this patient of yours, I will be better able to determine the validity of that book they may be holding on to.
