-
Vanaistis stops heating the whistle and he looks to Morgan. “What was that?”
-
Morgan looks up “gull maybe” he scans the sky, “would be odd this far from land.”
-
Vanaistis glares at him, “I know what a sea gull sounds like and that no gull.”
-
Theon chuckled softly to himself, “I’m quite different from a bird after all.” he said to himself, releasing the side of the ship, swimming alongside it, splashing playfully in the water as he swam.
-
Morgan looks over the side into the water, “something in the sea cap’in”
-
Vanaistis growls softly and goes to one of the harpoon holders pulling a harpoon out before he takes his way towards Morgan his eyes fixed on the sea. The harpoon in his hand ready to be thrown.
-
Theon waved at Vanaistis with a good natured smile, “Salut, monsieur captain!” he put a hand over his brow to block out the sunlight, “Oh, are you gonna try to use that on me? I’ve heard you don’t like people like me, but trying to kill me already? I’m hurt… most people don’t try to kill me before I’ve slept with them.” He teases playfully.
-
Vanaistis mumbles something in gaelic before throwing the harpoon directly between Theon’s tail and stomach.
-
Theon ducks under the water quickly and gracefully, flicking his tail over the surface and splashing some water upward, continuing to tease Vanaistis. He remains under for a moment before reemerging with the harpoon, “Silly monsieur captain-man. You can’t hit a mermaid worth his gills in the water with something like this,” He taunted, waving the harpoon, “Although, it’s not a bad one, I think I’ll keep it.”
-
Vanaistis smirks having thrown a second harpoon just a few seconds before he reemerged.
-
Theon uses the harpoon he held to bat away the one Vanaistis threw, deflecting it into the water. He sighed and glanced up with a slightly annoyed expression, “You’ve got that out of your system now, huh?” He asked, voice reflecting his change in attitude.
-
Vanaistis his smirk fades and he snorts mumbling something else in gaelic.
-
Theon’s grin returned, however with a slightly cruel touch to it, “It seems so, huh?” He asked, crossing his arms, “Maybe you should ask questions before attacking next time, makes you seem like less of an ass. First impressions are everything, you know.” He said, waving the harpoon mockingly at Vanaistis.
-
“Sorry I don’t care about first impressions with the demons of the sea.” Vanaistis says as he pulls the second harpoon back onto the ship.
-
Theon sighed and scratched the back of his neck, “Are you going to throw that again? Seriously?” He asked, raising an eyebrow in a slightly annoyed look, “And I’ll take that demon comment as a complement, I suppose.” he sighed, putting a hand on his hip.
