Vanaistis nods some then sets out his command to drop anchor then he looks to Morgan. “We will take the small boat to shore and see what is going on.”
-
“aye aye captain.” he jumps to and gestures to the helmsman and start prepping the boat.
-
Vanaistis looks to the island while they get the boat ready.
-
With a call the boat is slowly lowered into the water.
-
Vanaistis looks to his men then heads over to the boat.
-
“welcome to the boat Captain” Morgan calls, snapping to the oarsman to start rowing.
-
Tomas ignores the merperson, running deep into the woods. He goes across a log, to cross the islands lone river. He slips, trying to go fast. He clutches the log, dropping he knife. “Jane!” He cries, reaching for it. With tears in his eyes he continues on. Nearing the center of the island he reaches the cave, which he sleeps in during storms. He goes ablut 400 feet in, the end, and assumes the fetal position, whispering “they found us. They will kill us now” over and over to himself
-
As the boat slowly peels away from the ship Gully launches from the mast, gliding over the water to the island, she sails and scouts around.
-
Theon sighed deeply and leaned his cheek against his hand, “…How boring…” He murmured to himself with a slight scowl, disappointed with Tomas’ lack of reaction. He glanced back and watched the pirates approach and dove underwater, swimming to the boat. He resurfaced on starboard side of the ship, clinging onto the side of the boat, “The island seems uninhabited, save for one man who seems to have lost a little more than a few marbles.” He shrugged and sighed once more, “So far he doesn’t seem like much fun to play with and I doubt there’s anything else of interest on this island. I recommend we go somewhere more fun, capt’n.” He said with a mock salute.
-
“I will kill you.” He mumbles as he looks to the island. “We still need to get a few items to take with us.”
-
Theon frowned exaggeratedly, crossing his arms on the side of the ship and pulling himself up to lean over the side of the ship, somewhat close to Vanaistis, “He~ey, that’s mean!” he teased and grinned up at him, “What if I don’t wanna die, eh? Did you think about that?” he tilted his head, twirling a lock of hair between his fingers, “If you insist on doing something so annoying, at least bring me back a coconut, kay?” He asked, flipping his tail and sending a couple droplets of water over the side of the ship.
-
Vanaistis glares at the merman brushing the water off of his face staying silent.
-
Morgan starts catching supplies tossed from the ship, tucking them into the benches on the boat “soon be ready Captain.”
Gully wings her way back and lands beside Theon “island is smol, got one river and looks like one man hidin in a cave capin.”
-
Theon smiled smugly and let out a soft chuckle at Vanaistis’s glare. As Gully landed next to him, he grimaced slightly and glared in Gully’s direction. He ran a hand through his hair, smoothing the strands that the her wing flaps sent out of order, “…Do you mind…?” He murmured under his breath.
