“Yet they are still undery command. Also they know the dangers that lie behind those eyes.” Vanaistis says as he ajusts his belt so the sword on his hip wasn’t so low.

Theon gave a sweet smile and tilted his head to the side, “My eyes are as clear as the Mediterranean sea, no lies to be found.” He said jokingly, “I don’t lie for no reason, only to have fun.” He leaned his cheek on his palm, “Anyway, maybe it would be better if you let them decide the danger for themselves.”

Vanaistis snorts, “Then they can find themselves in an early grave.”

Theon chuckled and leaned in a little, playfully swishing his tail up and down, in and out of the water, “You think I’m gonna kill someone? Seriously?” He began laughing fairly hard, “I’m not sure whether to feel complemented or insulted by that.”

“I never said it would be you that would kill them.” Vanaistis’ eyes were dark as he says this.

With a loud Bang a bullet flies and knocks the knife from Theon’s hand to land pointdown and quivering in the middle of the boat. Morgan blows the smoke from his pistol. “you chose the wrong way to hurt Gully.”

 

Gully herself lands on the island and bends to lick her wound.

Asona looks at Theon, “man you must be really looking for a death wish” she says looking back at the pistol.

Vanaistis picks up the knife and puts it back in his boot nodding his thanks to Morgan.

[Wake]

For a moment, Theon looked at the knife, somewhat surprised, then shook off his hand “…Well ‘scuse me for not wanting to be grabbed.” He sighed and turned around, facing away from the boat, “Good job on me for choosing the most humorless pirates in the whole sea to follow.” He said, half to himself and half to Asona, rolling his eyes.

Morgan smirks, spinning his pistol returning it to its loop “my humour works just fine, ‘sides, wouldn’t it be easier to dive under Gully.”

[Wake]

Theon sighed, “I have reflexes too, y’know?” he let go of the side of the boat, opting to casually swim instead of be carried, “Put a knife in any mans hand and throw something at him, he’ll stab at it.” he glanced over his shoulder briefly at Morgan, “If he doesn’t, then there’s probably something wrong with him.”

“That or is just pretty good at dodging.” Vanaistis says with a smirk.

“Dodging is easy and all but the most important thing to do more than anything else is to defeat the enemy before they defeat you” Asona said with a calm expression thinking back to the last couple of times she had to save herself from a bad situation.

“Not what I meant.” Vanaistis says rolling his eyes.

“Whatever, I have a question I’ve been wanting to ask” Asona says collecting her thoughts as to not get distracted. “Just curious but where in the world are we located at currently?” she asks curiously  trying to figure out how far a way from home has she journeyed.
