Dirk smiled at Jake before muttering to himself intelligibly, “Half way done.” He fiddled with the birds frame befor ethe screen flashed again and the birds eyes started to glow a dull red. The mechanic smiled and nodded to himself before he continued typing.

Jake smiled back and stood up,bounding over to Dirk,sitting down by him. “I’m really sure you little man would love that!” The English man then bounced over to the Sea troll,”Hullo! I’m Jake English, it’s a pleasure to meet you!”

Dirk pulled the cable connecting the bird to the computer off and smiled, ” Alright, I’m done programming it.” He muttered to himself ” All I have to do is add the fabric…” For some reason he didn’t hear Jake’s comment, but he pulled the fabric on top of the metal frame and sewed it shut. He attached the feathers for the wings and pressed the barley visible button at the base of its neck. The eyes glowed a bright red as it came to life and make a few bid sounds. It fluttered up to Dirk’s shoulder and perched itself there. The mechanic stored his laptop before getting up and going to where the trolls were seated. “Might as well introduce myself…” He thought.

He voiced his hello to his host, ” how’s it goin’.” His Texan drawl had come into play. He turned to the troll with fins, “pleasure ta meet ya.” His tea cup was held delicately in his hand and the little saucer being held under it, he rather enjoyed the cup and tea. He stood at the edge of the table relaxed and hands in his pockets. The mechanical bird fluttered around his head before going to mess with Jake.

Kanaya smiled up at the blonde, very fascinated with the metal wingbeast around his head. “Hello Mister Strider. Are You Enjoying Yourself? I Can See You’re Enjoying The Tea.” She chuckled to herself.

“I am ,thank you!” Dirk hugged a laugh and scratched the back of his head, disrupting the bird and his shoulder. It fluttered to the table and hopped around Kanaya’s tea cup. “I usually don’t like tea, but this stuff is good.”

Jake shrugged and wandered over to Dirk and Kanaya,”Tally ho,mates! This cupa is fabulous!” He slung a arm around dirk’s shoulder and grinned at the female troll.

Dirk shifted slight balancing out the weight that Jake’s had thrown on him with ease. He grinned, ” This hear is my friend, Jake English.”

Jake grinned,”We’ve met, such a lovely lady troll she is!” He adjusted his glasses with his free hand and kept on grinning,”The tea is brilliant, just fabulous if I may say.”

Kanaya felt her cheeks heat up a bit as she gave the human boys a polite smile. “Well Thank You, I’m Very Glad To Hear You Like It. Both Of You” She lifted her glass at them and grinned.

Dirk lifted his cup in turn. ” Thanks for having us!” Dirk nudged Jake in the ribs ” And dealing with this idiot.”

Kanaya chuckled. “No, You’ve Both Been Great To Have Honestly!” She brought her cup back down for a sip of tea, to hide her grin.

Dirk scratched the back of his head and sheepishly asked, “Were did you get all of these pillows?” Dirk looked slightly embarrassed, ” There really comfortable…”

Eridan sat in silence for a while he realized he had forgot to ask for tea and wanted to make it look like it was on purpose. He eventually decided to say to Kanaya, “ill havve some tea if you please kan.” even though he was spiteful, he stayed more or less polite (or sarcastic).
