“Sorry” Mio calls as she runs down the alley before tripping over, and landing with a clatter.
-
Ryuuji speeds up a little, quickly catching up with her. Seeing her trip put him on edge due to the event. Reaching her and seeing that she just tripped, he sighed slightly and held out his hand, “Just hear me out, I want to build an alliance for this event. You seem clever, good at running away. We could help each other, y’know?”
-
Wolf follows him.
Jax places his hands around his mouth and breaths fire up at the icicles. Rolling out of the way of a few but keeps breathing fire at them.
-
“That might work” Mio admits while face down. She pushes herself back up, looking over Ryuuji at Jax, “Your friend might need some help.”
-
Ryuuji sighs slightly, “His Sigil is insane, he’ll probably be fine,” His voice carried a trace of spite, but he produced a handgun from inside his coat and loaded a clip into it, “But whatever… Anyway, are you armed or do you need a gun?” He said, beginning to walk down the street. The melted water from the icicles began to reform and conglomerate, this time gravitating towards Jax’s head.
-
“where did you get a weapon” Mio Asked, checking her phone for the ring.
-
Jax smirks some and stops. Rolling away to a safe distance and whistles again but this time it was low and almost hard to hear.
Wolf begins to growl as it looks to its master.
-
Ryuuji glances down at her, “The in-game shop, generally, though I go to an arms dealer, higher quality shit, y’know?” He reaches into his jacket again and produces a smaller, silvery handgun and hands it to her, “Take this, should be light enough for you. Just point and shoot, easy as that. Holds 10 shots. I have more clips if you need them.”
The water follows quickly after Jax’s movement almost as fast, then once entering his range, slows down slightly and attempts to engulf his head to suffocate him.
-
Mio holds the gun very gingerly, tendrils from her armour slip over it, giving it the look of an old Tanegashima, she carefully nestles it into her arms.
-
Jax laughs as gills appear on his neck. “Nice try but it will take more than that to kill me.”
-
Ryuuji gives a quick approving nod, “Careful of the recoil when you shoot.” He briskly explains, continuing to walk down the alley before reaching the crosswalk. He flattens against the wall again, taking a moment to observe the attack patterns of the enemy, “They’re able to reform after being cut so brute force wont work. We need to find the player and destroy them or figure out another way to fight. Slowly, the water surrounding Jax’s head began to freeze.
-
“Really your going to try that again?” Jax says getting annoyed now and he breaths out small flames to keep the water from freezing but makes sure it doesn’t boil.
-
Mio trots after Ryuuji “most of the shooting has stopped, so we probably only have the one wit the water left” she observes, her eyes scanning the buildings for movement.
-
Ryuuji nods, “I didn’t kill all of them earlier. They’ve probably retreated for now, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re lying in wait.” He glanced at Mio, “Do you wanna go in now?” The ice quickly melted itself then began a different strategy, this time trying to shove itself down his throat.
-
Jax gags a bit before he lets the gills on his neck open up again but his eyes were starting to get dull.
