Here is some information on  the humans and the demons you can create.  I will also evertually be posting some NPC characters that will be vital to the story.  I’ll also be posting my own characters that I’ll be RPing as, but I’ll make sure to specify which are which.
Humans: The top of the food chain became prey very quickly.  After years of chaos, through much reform and order the humans were able to once again establish cities.  The rule of society is strict, and anyone who breaks the rules have to fear being released into the outside where the demons reside.  People can be very easily corrupted though…Magic is known and often used to help, heal and protect.  There are groups of demon hunters who dedicate their lives to trying to eradicate the evil that is always spreading.  The Circle of Clementia exists throughout the cities and trains people to become powerful priests and clerics to help keep peace and sanity throughout society as well as protect and vanquish the demons.  Everyone is just trying to survive.
Demons: These beings rely on eating humans to nourish their hunger.  They are separated by tribes and live outside in the world that they destroyed.  There are two different tribes that reside outside of Dominatus.
The Letalis – These are beautiful, serene creatures who deem themselves superior to all others.  They’re cunning and cruel and will do anything in their power to get their way.  They strictly eat humans, and their hunger shows.  Their beauty becomes distorted and horrific once they catch the scent of a human on an empty stomach.  They will not stop until they catch their prey.
The Saeva – These are the exact opposite.  Brutal and beastly, but very noble creatures.  They feed their hunger with whatever they can get their hands (or paws) on.  They more closely resemble the demons of the old days.

The Letalis hate the Saeva for their savage ways.  They are often at war with one another for control over the territory around Dominatus.

Halfbreeds – Also known as the Promiscus, these are the product of a human and a demon mating.  Only female demons breed with male humans, because after consummation the demon will usually eat her human mate.  Halfbreeds are rare, if they’re not killed by their mothers they are left to die.  Demon hunters who scavenge the  outside will find them and bring them to the Circle of Clementia where they are raised taken care of while their demon sides are constantly studied.  Once they’re taken in by humans, they lose any form of freedom and are always under careful watch.  Sometimes the halfbreeds don’t possess any demonic powers, but sometimes they can hold a mix of both human magic and demonic magic.

Name: Artifex Intemperia
Breed: Letalis
Age: Fairly Young

Physical Description: 

Armed with a Sadistic Smile, Artifex (Art to his few friends) takes physical pride in his derision of the lesser beings. With his thoughts hidden by the mess of carefully constructed jet black hair this Purebred Letalian stands tall and regal even among members of his own race.

Personality:
Capricious, cunning and cruel Art is someone whose ambition and conviction know no bounds; he is willing to sacrifice everyone around him for the sake of his own self-entitlement. However it is this arrogance which leads to self important naivety and the fits of jealous rage people have come to regularly expect from him.

Background Story:
Artifex Intemperia was born to a relatively wealthy heritage and as a proud purebred has since birth had everything handed to him on a plate. His sickly charm, brilliant strategising and disdain for lower beings has seen him rise rapidly in the Aristocratic Society of the Letalis.
He currently works as a Consultant on Agricultural Opportunities for the Upper Echelons of Dominatus. It is a job he thoroughly enjoys.

Name: Erol “Jackal” Hanson

Species: Human

Age: 19

Physical description:

Jackal is roughly 5 ft 10, 158 pound male with who wears hoodie, cargo pants, a light bag, sneakers, fingerless gloves and sports a fully painted face. Sometimes carries visible weapons, such as a spiked club or mace.

 

Very tired eyes….

Personality: For a human being, Jackal lacks much “humanity.” He is very ruthless and sometimes outright sadistic to both demons and his own kind at times. Though he can like anyone, and shows a surprising amount of kindness to some demons, he shows little remorse for people who he doesn’t like. He often does not hestitate to kill Clerics and hunters if it will benefit him. His at time psychopathic nature is complimented with a large amount of savvy. He is very very “gifted” mentally and has a great many skills. He is clever, pragmatic and often unorthodox in his tactics. For a “normal” human being, he does not seem to hold much fear in the supernatural, but will run from it if it is too great a threat for him to face head on. He does not seem to affected much by pain. In fact he seems to revel in it. Enjoy it.

Background: Jackal was a hoodlum in his days in the city, and raised in a rather broken home he seldom speaks of. He seemed to constantly “vandalize” the city, spray painting messages over areas. Often goading people on, telling them to stop being “Sheep.” After some time he was caught. And threatened with exile promptly. Jackal willingly left and was actually found to have, before he left, killed at least 20 people. One of them a rich official. The others were sick people he “put out of their misery.” Jackal has lived outside the city for four years and if he is to ever be found to return to a city and identified, he may be put on trial and executed.

He resides in an abandoned, military base in a town, rigged with traps.

Human or Demon: Demon from the Letalis tribe

Age:230

Physical Description: short dark red hair with black bangs, green eyes, tan skin, pointy nose. He is not very tall, at least 185 cm

Personailty: obnoxious, arrogant, shorttempered

Background Story: he is a middle class deamon, who think high of himself, because he is Letalis. He despise his father, but loves his mother dearly. Unfortunatly his parent are not in good terms, eventually his mother leaves one day and never comes back. After a couple of years after her disappearance he finds out about his halfbreed brother. He hates halfreeds because they are not purbloods and give bad reputation to his tribe. he went out to find him determined to kill him. But his task won’t be easy, considering his brother live with the humans.

Name: Leocadio

Human or Demon: Promiscus (halfbreed)

Age: 18

Physical Description: Long black hair, navyblue eyes,palewhite skin, birth mark on his left shoulder.

Personailty: Leocadio is closed in himself young man. He is quite nice for a half deamon, but rarely shows it.

Background Story:He is found as a baby outside the walls of Clementia, cold and hungry. He is brought to the human society. He doesn’t have any special abilities, other than seeing into the future. He finds an old promiscus among the humans who teaches him how to fight without magic.He dream to leave Clementia and be free. He wish to know the worl outside the walls, but he knows it is imposible with being watched all the time.

Name: Emile Aubuchon

Human apprentice of the Circle of Clementia

Age: 20

Physical Description: If one word had to be used to describe Emile, it would be soft.  She has long, soft blonde curls of hair that falls down along her sides and her back.  You wouldn’t expect to get a warm feeling from the color grey, but her light grey eyes almost comfort those who become encased in their vision.  Her skin is pale and delicate.  The demons can only imagine that her skin would falter when succumbed to their teeth like a roast cooked long and tender until it fell off the bone.  When she isn’t wearing the white tunic and robes that are required by members of the Circle, she wears clothes that flow gently around her.  She wears mostly neutrals, but with a splash of color in a head scarf or jewlelry.  A light wisp in the dark world that surrounds her.

Personailty:  Emile strives to be calm and collected at all times.  She is strict with herself, and this allowed her to rise above her peers as she trains in the Circle.  She thinks of every detail and outcome to all of her actions.

Background Story: Emile is the daughter of one of the head Clerics in the Circle of Clementia.  She spent her whole life learning the magic that protects the city from the demons that wander outside of the walls that keep them safe.  She is devoted to the protection of the people.  She believed in the order of the people and the strict rules that were governed until a good friend of hers who was also an apprentice in the circle was exiled for breaking a rule that no one seemed to know existed.  No one explained and no form of a trial was held.  She started to question the motive of the council of people who governs this city.  The doubt has begun to seep into her being and change her.

Name: Ezekiel or “Zeke”

Demon of the Saeva

Age: He was 26 when he was transformed into a demon, but it’s been quite a while since that happened.

Physical Description: Zeke still holds some of his physical attributes from when he was a human: the shaggy brown hair and his tall and lanky appearance, but the demonic essence took over the rest.  His eyes now glow red and the skin around them have turned black like permanent bruises.  His skin has lost all color which makes the black veins that run through his body stand out.  He walks on falcon-like feet and claws and large, black bat wings sprout of out his back.  When he grins, you can see his fangs.  He wears black skins and furs and bone jewelry from his prey.

Personality: Zeke is quiet and grim and prefers to keep to himself.  The only time he smiles is when he’s ready to hunt.  He is very loyal to his tribe and will sacrifice anything to keep them safe, as all the warriors do for the Saeva.

Background Story: Zeke remembers nothing of his human days.  Sometimes he dreams of that man from another time, but the images are hazy at best.  He is a hunter and a warrior for the Saeva now, and that’s all that matters to him.  He is quick and moves silently around the dark world.  He hunts and fights with two matching mini scythes.  He has grown fond of hunting animals that roam the wild.  The Letalis have made the hunt for humans very difficult for the Saeva, but the thrill of hunting humans will never grow old.  Zeke will often make games out of trying to steal humans away from the Letalis who find themselves far from the rest of the tribe.  He is also very curious about the human city.  The curiosity haunts his dreams as well.  He wishes to enter and explore the lives of the ones that for so long he has seen only as a food source.  The seed of humanity lays dormant within him.

Name: Jack Barringer

Promiscuous: Shows traits of Saeva bloodline

Age: 21

Physical Description: looks mostly like a normal human, with grayish skin and red eyes as well as sharpened canines short messy black

Personality:  Often snarky and sarcastic attitude a slight temper that once reached is impossible to recover from normally

Background Story: his mom abandoned him for being born part demon, after being orphaned for a 5 years he revealed that he could use demon magic and was seized and tested on. After a few years he accepted his demon heritage and tried to escape many times, all failed; yet from those defeats Jack learned a lot, like lock-picking and very quick reflexes. One of the most valuable was being able to predict where strikes would hit, of course this didn’t work against most projectiles, fast attacks, or unnoticed or random attacks. eventually one night after testing one guard slipped up got too close to Jack and was “relieved” of his keys; of course this has happened a dozen times before (he would try to escape in some convoluted way the guards would catch him rinse repeat) but this time he didn’t use them he waited and soon all guards were on alert looking for Jack and when they found he was still there they calmed down, leaving the perfect opportunity to escape, using the keys and putting it back with the guards. He was like a ghost unseen until the next day leaving him free to live his life as no one on the outside knew he was, yet he as still been cautious as he now is able to explore and hunt; he also often looks to save other halfbreeds trapped in the circle.
