Many years ago a great evil was unleashed upon the world. Demons existed but many had been vanquished in wars and battle throughout time. The souls of the demons were sealed away to keep their evil from spreading, but that all changed on one fateful day. Once the souls were released, half the population of humans were corrupted and turned into demons. To this day, the culprits who unleashed the evil are unknown. The world was torn apart, and now humans live within enclosed cities protected from the demons who live in the destroyed world outside. With magic and technology, and a very strict totalitarian government, the people stay protected from the horrors outside…Or so they think.
Our story brings us to the human city of Dominatus. This is a very large city run by a council of five people. To help protect the city, the Circle of Clementia use their holy magic to help shield the citizens from Outside the city, two demon tribes roam free, the Saeva and the Letalis. Everyone is just trying to survive one way or another, whether it’s hunting for food or avoiding becoming prey.
