It’s a nice, quite day on Kleomina. The twin suns are shining, the weird lizard birds are squeaking, and there’s not single volcanic cloud in the sky.
Jeff is reclined in his chair, reading a newspaper and trying to block the suns light from his eyes as he faces the window of the help desk.
“Hmpf” he grumbles, as he flips a page. -
As Jeff sits in his desk, he hears a sudden door open and a tall young man walks into the room, carrying a military dufflebag over his shoulder. He seemed to dressed like a biker with his leather jacket and pants with yellow flames on the leggings. He walks over to his desk with a smirk and stops a moment in awkwardness, thinking about how to greet him briefly. “Hey-o..!” The young man waves rather weakly, not having much experience in new places like this kinda makes him squeamish, “Uh, name’s Dipstick.. What’s yers?”

*as I get off the bus and pushes my glasses up so I can see. I notice a man in leather talking to another man sitting at a desk. I walk up behind the man in leather and stand behind him waiting my turn to talk to the man at the desk*

“Jeff.” the man replies, looking up from his paper, giving his new acquaintance a scrutinizing eye. He tilts his head to the side and looks at the girl behind him, barely even changing the expression on his face.

Dipstick smiles to the man, “Hey, heard ya were the guide here, right?” He chuckles lightly, “Or do I have the wrong guy..?”

“You have the right guy…”
He flips a page of his newspaper.
“So, what ya here for?” -
“I need to know where I can start here,” Dipstick grins to him, “Any place is cool with me!”

“Hmmmm…” he says, rubbing his chin.
“There’s some old cabins out to the west of this bus station, only half a kilometer away.”
“Did you bring any weapons with you per chance?” -
“Heh,” Dipstick chuckles to him, “Yeh, I’ve gotta few up my sleeve.”

*as i listen to the two men talk i open my book and start reading again*

“Good.”
He flicks his newspaper, straightening it.
“I haven’t checked over their for quite some time now, so something might of held itself up in their.”
“If it doesn’t try to maul you immediately, you can probably just chase it out.”
*page flip*
“You look pretty capable though, for the most part.”
“If you don’t want to go through the trouble though…” -
“Sure!” Dipstick chuckles to him, “Thanks a bunch, Jeff!” He turns and notices the girl standing behind him, “Oh, hey!” He waves, being quite friendly as he moved out of the way for her.

Dipstick smiles to her, “So, what’s yer name? Mine’s Dipstick!” He offers his hand for a hand shake, “Nice to meet’cha!”
