Group Description
Here’s the scene.
You arrive on the planet Kleomina, a largely unexplored and possibly dangerous planet. You could be here for fame, fortune, or for some other purpose that you may specify yourself, but your here and that’s what matters.
Their is only one place on this planet that can connect you with the rest of the civilized world, and that is the inter-galactic bus station. This station is managed by one man who, could also serve as a helpful guide for the poor saps who don’t know what their doing on this side of the galaxy.
You’ve just came off at this bus station onto the planet.
The planets atmosphere is readily breathable, and the levels of gravity are also relatively comfortable. The majority of the planets environment is forests and plains with occasional anomalous differentiation.
Otherwise, have fun adventuring and don’t forget to pack a lunch!
Adventure One
-
*she grins broadly* heard a few stories bout you, now that I think…..hehe….yeah….everyone called me avalanche… Feel free to do the same
-
“A’ighty then, Ava!” Dipstick chuckles a bit, then suddenly pauses, knowing that his stories usually were a bunch of funny goofs he’s made in the field, “Wait.. What kinda stories…?”
-
*her grin widened* ones involving a certain sargeant major Whitehall….I’m sure you remember him.
-
“Ahem.”
Jeff coughs.
“If you plan on going to the cabins today, then you might want to do it before the suns are down, or else you might have more problems then you bargained for.”
(note: the days on Kleomina are 50 hours long, its currently around 38:00 military time)
“Unless of course you wish to stay at the motel. The rates are very cheap given to the number of visitors this planet gets.” -
Dipstick looks back to Jeff and nods, “Thanks, Jeff,” He says, and looks back to Cassy, “So, ya wanna head to the motel and take a rest before we head back up to them cabins? I’ve been told there’s creatures there! Might be best to conserve energy and get familiar with the place before we go do somethin’ stupid, right!?”
-
True…but in case anything does show up..*caldera unslings a MACE semi automatic, pump loading, combat shotgun* I’m taking no chances.. I ain’t winding up as food for giant outer space bugs
-
“O-ho!” Dipstick laughs a bit, “Nice! Well, let’s get going!” He gestures for her to follow him outside.
-
*she smiles, making sure the gun is loaded, she follows dipstick eyes flicking left and right, alert for any movement*
-
You find a map outside of the transport station, the areas the size of a village with all the modern conveniences someone could need. But as you look around you notice how old the structures are, and the tech around you is clearly out-dated. As was described to you, the place is deserted, but also very peaceful. It seems the place is well kept, the reasons for which aren’t immediately obvious though. By the map their are some weather pamphlets describing the planet (do you pick it up?).
-
Dipstick walks out and over toward the hotel without much caution. He just seemed to be having fun with all of this, whistling a light tune.
-
Yeesh…this place is …like…last century tech…I gotta do something about it….*she grabs a pamphlet to read later*
-
Dipstick and Avalanche make it to the front entrance of the Hotel, their is an auto-clerk sweeping a sidewalk right outside of the building.
-
Dipstick whistles to the auto-clerk! “Heya, Nuts!” He walks up to the bot, “Do you have a couple extra room open?”
-
*click click clack vrrrm (standard auto-clerk computation sound)
‘Greetings visitor.’
*click click clack vrrrm
‘Current hotel occupancy at 0.00%’
Relays the bot, looking up from its task. -
