Fredjamin smiled as he decided to take her around the ship. He would take her first out to the main deck and pointed at a blonde and said, “This is Sal, ze is a very awesome person. Ze runs the masts usually and sometimes likes to be alone in the crowsnest with zerself.”

Sal seemed to turn around to zer name and a front with breasts and a beard showed. They waved and said, “Hey Fredjamin. That the new warden?”

“Yeah!” Fredjamin smirked and stopped for their moment. He then said, “She’s awesome! She vomits purple stuff!”

Sal’s nose scrunched and said, “Seriously?! That’s disgustingly awesome!” Ze picked up a bundle of ropes and then said, “Sorry but I need to get these up onto the masts! One of them is starting to fray.” Ze pointed up and sure enough there was one fraying. Ze then climbed the mast like it was practically nothing and met another up on it.

Fredjamin smirked and then said, “The guy up there that Sal is handing the rope to is Hike. He is rumored to be part monkey. He started that rumor himself.” He giggled and then moved to keep going but all of the sudden the ship rocked harshly. Fredjamin fell onto his face and a lot of others fell from where they were. The ones on the mast seemed okay. The admiral came out and looked around like this was unplanned.

The ship felt a sudden rock again like something was shoving it. The admiral yelled out, “EVERYONE GET DOWN AND HOLD ON! WE’RE UNDER ATTACK!”

Fredjamin whimpered and stayed down, terrified. Something came shooting out of the water and landed on the deck like a bullet out of the water. The dripping wet form of the woman that had been in the pirate interruption was now upon their vessel and she looked pissed beyond belief. She was glaring right at the admiral and in this real life, her sharp teeth were all the more evident. Her flesh had scratches on it where blood had washed away and was healing from a fight that had taken place much earlier. She was dead locked on the admiral and walked over to him, bare feet pressing with their webbings never touching the wood. Her dorsal fin was obvious with her hair wet and flattened against her. She pushed aside anyone in her way and to their luck, Carina and Fredjamin wouldn’t be in her way if they stayed put. She went right up to the admiral, standing taller than him by a bit and her lean muscle showing with her clenched fists. She spoke, “Where… the fuck… is he?”

The admiral took out his cigarette and looked up at her without seeming afraid at all as he said, “He never tells anyone where he is. Though I gather from where he was filming… Somewhere in the calm belt. You fought him earlier, didn’t you keep track of him?”

Mako snarled at him and spoke harshly, “How the fuck am I supposed to keep track when I was knocked out for a bit?! So what now, Admiral Cancer? You have a pirate on your ship. Are you going to do the same thing that was done to Yalbagoth to me?!” She launched her hand out and the admiral caught it and pushed it to the side as she launched another. He got hit and it was clear it hurt but he took the time to catch her fists and hide the pain so he could get her to talk.

“We aren’t all like that,” He spoke back. “I was going to let you swim off to your doom. Though if I put you out of your misery now, you won’t have the same fate.” He rolled down and had her fall behind him as he whipped out a pistol and turned to shoot her. She rolled out of the way then kicked him over the rail and next to his quivering crewmembers, him landing on his feet and Mako getting to hers as they glared at one another.

It would be about a day at sea before the ship would see another ship heading in the opposing directions.

“Oh, no problem, Sal.” Carina responded when ze dashed up the rigging with a bundle of ropes and then turned to Fredjamin with an amused look. “That’s how you’re introducing me?” It seemed like she’d be the girl who vomits purple for quite some time on the ship, but it was true so who was she to argue against it?

Suddenly, a tremor rocked the ship, sending her skidding back several paces and falling on her butt while Fredjamin tumbled to the deck onto his face. When the admiral emerge, looking around for the cause of the sudden motion Carina pulled herself quickly to her feet. Then the deck rocked again, and it became clear that something underneath was harassing the ship. Obeying the admiral’s orders, she ducked down and looked for something to hold onto in case the whole ship collapsed or split or began to sink.

An enraged looking fishman appeared onto the deck and Carina immediately recognized her as Mako, one of the pirates declaring her challenge to the Fleet Admiral. The woman looked fearsome in real life, with sharp predatory teeth and battle wounds.’ To be able to shove the ship so hard, Carina figured that the woman must be incredibly strong. The warden’s eye narrowed as she tensed up ready to fight at the first sign of violence towards one of the crew. The pragmatic part of her mind noticed the wounds marking the orca flesh as she considered what type of poison might work best in this scenario where the target already had open wounds. She certainly wasn’t going to go with a sea snake or pufferfish poison in case the pirate had worked up an immunity to those.

To Carina’s increasing wariness, Mako locked her attention straight to the admiral and made her way towards him, shoving aside anyone in her way. The fact that she shoved and pushed instead of cutting or killing her way towards her superior made her hesitate to launch an attack on the pirate despite the fact that she had attacked their boat. It looked like she wanted attention and to speak with him first, and she didn’t want to interrupt and potentially cause a massacre when the admiral didn’t seem overly concerned at all with their pirate visitor. In fact, he seemed to have calmed down once she showed her face, and was now as cool as a cucumber.

Carina watched the confrontation with sharp, wary grey eyes. She was at first surprised that the admiral was so free in mentioning where the fleet admiral might be located, but it made sense. Their leader wanted to fight all of the pirates, and would be happy to meet Mako and get the chance for another gruesome execution. If pirates were dumb enough to go looking for a fight with the fleet admiral, who were they to stop them for getting killed? If you got knocked out a bit, how the hell do you expect to win this time?

Then the wild pirate launched her hands out at the admiral in a clear attack despite the fact that the admiral had given her all of the information she had asked for. At this attack, Carina began to cover herself in caterpillar venom for intense hemorrhaging, making sure to stay away from using any poisons based on sea creatures. She didn’t trust herself to be fast enough to coat herself in poison if the monstrous woman suddenly turned on her, and decided that it would be better to forego the element of surprise here in exchange for not getting struck suddenly. Mako screeched about whether she was going to get the same treatment as the treacherous fishman captain for being a pirate as she attacked.

He whipped out a pistol to shoot her, and Mako kicked him over the rail and onto the lower deck. A big fight was clearly about to happen, and it was clear that the fishman pirate was on equal level if better than the admiral. Carina clenched her fists angrily, there was little hope of her surviving the fight if she butted in, but like hell she was going to leave the admiral to duke it out with this pirate all by himself. She thought back to Jango howling at the marines too cowardly to help and reduced to watching his battle from outside the door and took a small breath to steady herself. She wasn’t going to be like them, and if the admiral lost then she was likely going to die by pirate or drowning anyway.

While the two were glaring at each other, Carina spat out a bubble filled with toxic gas at the orca woman. She didn’t really expect such an attack to hit when Mako had managed to dodge a surprise pistol attack, but that was fine. It would at least serve as a warning shot. The young officer glared at Mako, trying as hard as possible to look fierce despite feeling scared and outmatched like the rest of her quivering crew mates. Her fists were still clenched tightly as if that would keep her legs steady.

“Hey! ” She would shout after the fishman reacted to the attack and side-step farther away from where Fredjamin was taking cover on the deck.  “You got what you came here for! If you’re trying to kill our admiral then you’ll have to fight me as well cuz I won’t let you!”

Mako saw the incoming attack from her peripheral vision and leaned wide to avoid it. She smirked a bit and looked down at the little marine as she said, “I, in fact, didn’t get my information. I won’t kill your admiral but who else would know where the bastard is than one of the assholes right under him. No offense Cancer, I know if it wasn’t for your Fleet Admiral, things wouldn’t be this way.” She had turned her attention back to him and hopped over the rail. “Oh, and your fruit user is cute, she new?” She looked back at her, “Bet she tastes as nasty as the gunk she flung smells.”

The admiral looked right at Mako and said, “I know Mako and don’t make such statements to my underlings. I could take that as a threat.” He pulled the pistol again as she walked up.

Fredjamin then decided to get up off the ground to defend his admiral as well. When Mako was near passing him, he punched her arm but ended up just smashing his own fist on her hard muscles. Mako peeked over at him and he quivered. She just pet his head and kept moving towards the admiral as she grabbed the pistol. “I dare you,” She growled at him and aimed it at her chest, “You probably already have every fishman angry. He was never a part of my crew and you know it as well as that cheap shotting Fleet Admiral of yours. Also, keep the kids that tried to attack me, they are adorable but courageous.”

One of the marines in the crows nest shouted, “Admiral.. We have more problems! Our target turned back to us and there’s another ship in the far distance. Both are coming up fast.”

The admiral tried to fire but the gun jammed. He looked at the pistol to see it had been crushed where she was holding it. He glared at her and said, “Get off my ship.”

“Not until I have answers,” Mako smirked and pushed him enough that he had to tumble to stand back up.

The closer target ship pulled up beside them and a male boarded the ship. He wasn’t as tall as the fishwoman and he had long blue hair that reached his buttocks with facepaint on reminiscent of a clown. He was still wearing the clothes he was when he had passed through reverse mountain and his nose was still in a box as he favored its natural looking replacement. He looked over the deck and saw the two in the middle as he said, “Well, now, Mako beat me to the party.”

“Shut up clown,” She snapped at him then blocked as the admiral punched at her and she launched her hand to the admiral’s chest.

Buggy shook his head and said, “This isn’t going to look good for all of us.” He spotted Carina and smiled as he said, “You. Skylark. What’s your rank now?” The entire crew glanced at her, almost in shock that he knew her.

The fishman pirate captain was looking down on her and although Carina didn’t like feeling such a huge difference in power, she felt relieved that the orca lady didn’t seem to want to kill the admiral. Of course there was no way she was going to take a pirate at her word, and she didn’t want to see Admiral Cancer tortured or interrogated for information either.

Carina was confused though, they didn’t seem to be trying to kill each other but the admiral was pulling his pistol while Mako had flung him off the railing and was now approaching in a threatening manner. The way the admiral spoke to focus the pirate’s attention on himself made Carina think that this might be a conversation best left to the two of them since it didn’t seem to be the all-out pirate attack she had initially thought it to be. When Fredjamin attacked Mako, Carina’s heart stopped for a moment as she was afraid the orca woman would rip him apart. Instead, she just patted his head condescendingly and moved onward. That action coupled with the way she had just shoved instead of slashing or attacking the boat made Carina think that the pirate was going out of her way not to do any lasting or serious damage.

She was surprised when, instead of striking at the admiral or continuing their fight, Mako dared Admiral Cancer to shoot her. She was clearly angry at the death of the fishman marine captain, and she was even implying that he had honestly never been a pirate despite showing sympathy towards them. It was a tense moment, and Carina could feel each second tick by slowly as she was unable to look away at the two, wondering if and when the admiral would pull the trigger.

Then chaos happened when a marine in the crows nest announced the arrival of another ship. The admiral’s gun failed to go off and Mako began to shove him roughly, still convinced that he had answers as to the Fleet Admiral’s location. Carina’s eyes widened as she caught sight of the second pirate to board their ship. The clothes he wore was unmistakable, it was Buggy the Clown still in his disguise as the kind fisherman she had first run into and now he was here to harass Admiral Cancer as well! The dirty pirates weren’t playing fair, teaming up on him like that!

Then Buggy turned his attention towards her and had the gall to smile at her as if he hadn’t tricked her back at Reverse Mountain. Carina’s face flushed with rage and embarrassment, turning bright red. He was an enemy, yet she owed her position and the extraordinarily good turn her life had taken to him. Was she supposed to be grateful to a pirate? And was he going to rub in her face how he had tricked her? It was a shame, she had thought he was so cool and been so grateful to him, and now it turned out he was an infamous pirate! She was still blushing bright red but answered his question, aware of the looks she was getting from the bewildered crew.

“I’m a warrant officer and the warden of this ship now. I got my promotion, ” she responded. The worst thing was not knowing whether she still would have accepted a favor from the man in front of her had she known he was a pirate. She just didn’t know. He had been kind, charming and paid her some really nice if a bit flirtatious compliments at a time when she didn’t have many friends. Her frustration at him for being a pirate and at herself for having accepted a favor from a pirate built up until she had to let it out. “And…And you tricked me, you scheming pirate! What do you have to say for yourself!?” It was important to let the crew know that she neither wanted nor willingly made friends with pirates.

Mako head-butted the admiral to give them both a knock on the head. He backed up a bit and she kicked at him, him stepping back from it and pulling out another gun. This time she smirked and pulled a ball of water into her hand from the sea air around them and compacted it tiny and shot it at the gun. It went up the barrel and dampened the powder used to fire it and the bullet just slid out the front with the casing intact. He then used the pistol to hit at her and she circled her hand around to push it to the side then swept a foot at his ankle to attempt to down him. He stepped over it and used the raised foot to kick her away.

Buggy looked at Carina and smiled that she’d been placed as a Warrant Officer, which was a big jump. And to be a warden on an admiral’s ship, what an honor it was for her. Then she said the accusations and was basically condemning him for even helping her but he understood, she was just another marine trying to cover their ass. He thought Mako was having a fine time with the admiral so he focused on her and said, “Well, Carina, if pirates were in charge of the world instead of marines, wouldn’t you make yourself into a neutral if you wanted to hide too?” He took a few steps towards her and said, “I know this ship was following to capture me and I really don’t want to hurt you. You’re a nice girl but just a little naïve about the marine’s intentions.”

“Leave her alone!” Fredjamin had just stopped being in shock to try and help Carina.

He tried to punch at Buggy but his torso separated into four parts and the fist went right through. He grabbed Fredjamin’s arm and said, “Now, I don’t want to hurt you either. But if you force me to hurt you, I will.” He glared as he let his arm go, Fredjamin tumbling back as Buggy put himself back together.

The other ship in the distance had caught up and it flew the symbol of Whitebeard. It came along the other side of the marine vessel and all of the members that were shown walked onto the ship. Buggy looked up at them and smirked but turned his attention back to Carina and to Fredjamin. The captain of the Neo-Whitebeards stepped forward and he was even taller than Mako, his build attesting to his strength as he walked to the fighting admiral and Mako and simply punched the air to shake it apart and knock them both away from each other and onto their asses. It was a condensed tremor that luckily, the other members wouldn’t feel but they’d see the air split at his mere fist hitting the air. Mako and the admiral rolled backwards and back onto their feet. Mako glared at him and said, “I know what I am doing…”

Truble looked at her and said, “You’re going to your death and antagonizing an admiral.” He then looked up at Buggy and said, “It’s an honor.” Then glared back at Mako as his powerful voice said to her, “You’re getting on my ship and you’re not going after him until you are stronger than me.”

Mako walked behind him and flipped him off, heading onto his ship. Then some of the other crew members got brave and attempted to charge him. His gunner loaded his gun and spun the revolving cases and shot at six of the members who were running at his captain. He reloaded and shot six more and once more to only shoot twice. All the ones rushing were on the ground with bullets in places that weren’t meant to harm them but to disarm and debilitate them. “Anyone else?” The gunner spoke with a near Texan accent.

Admiral Cancer and Mako looked to be fairly even in their fight and they seemed to be fairly evenly matched when Carina glanced over to see the fighting that had resumed between the two. Buggy had also noticed the fight but seemed to be content to not butt in on the fight and gang up on the marine. Surprisingly noble for a sneaky pirate, Carina thought to herself and decided to answer his questions as long as that kept him from interfering.

“But…that’s different!” Carina blurted out while the cogs in her mind turned as she tried to think about what she would do in such a situation. The idea of pirates taking over the world was ridiculous, the criminals were much too disorganized and freedom loving. Things would descend into madness! But what would she do in such a situation? Carina had no clue, but it wouldn’t be prancing around a pirate base. “Just because I would have done the same thing doesn’t change the fact that you’ve hurt and killed people to steal their money,” she retorted angrily.

When he took a few steps towards her, still maintaining that calm and relaxed demeanor, Carina took a few nervous steps backwards. She had never fought against another fruit user before, and Buggy had experience in his abilities and superior strength on his side. Buggy claimed to not want to hurt her, which made Carina uneasy with not knowing just what to do in a situation. There was an implication that he might if she got in his way.

Fredjamin proved to be more brave or reckless than she was and tried to punch Buggy. The pirate used his Devil Fruit powers to separate his body and easily avoid the attack and grab her subordinate. Carina was all ready to leap into action if the pirate captain looked about to hurt Fredjamin but instead he just gave the seaman apprentice a warning and let him go. She glanced over at the other marine to check that he was alright and moved to help him get back to his feet. “We can’t beat him right now,” Carina whispered to Frejamin, hating herself for admitting such a weakness but not wanting him to keep on attacking and trying Buggy’s patience.

Was it even possible for her Devil Fruit powers to work on someone who could cut themselves off from their circulation or respiratory tracts so easily? If Buggy’s disembodied head breathed in toxic gas, would it ever even reach his lungs or for that matter, would poison in his arm make it to the rest of his body if Buggy sliced himself up? Why am I so weak!? Carina thought to herself, angry at her own helplessness in the face of these two pirates.

Then to make matters worse, another ship bearing the symbol of Whitebeard appeared to run alongside their vessel. None of the marines seemed to dare try to gun down the ship so the captain and his crew boarded the marine vessel as well. Buggy turned and smirked at the piratical reinforcements before turning his attention back to Carina and Fredjamin quickly enough that she didn’t have a chance to try and use some sneak attack, although she had been strongly considering trying to shove him into the water. It was almost as if he were making sure they weren’t about to do anything stupid.

With one punch, the massive Whitebeard captain split the air, sending both Admiral Cancer and Mako flying backwards and separating them. The way Truble scolded Mako reminded Carina of a father bickering with an errant child more than the captain of a ship reprimanding a subordinate. Her immature behavior as he headed onto the ship only served to strengthen her impression. Then a few of the crew attempted to charge the infamous Whitebeard captain only to get disarmed by the crew’s expert marksman. None of the marines were grievously wounded, Carina could see that the pirates were making sure that this encounter had as little bloodshed as possible. If the pirates weren’t looking for a fight, then she wouldn’t pursue them. Heck, the Whitebeards were even stopping Mako from attacking the Admiral. Anything to get them to leave as quickly as possible would be good.

From where Carina stood by Fredjamin, she quietly grasped his arm in what was meant to be a reassuring gesture but would also hopefully keep him from running off and getting shot needlessly. If the Whitebeards were trying to take the crazy fishman away, then by all means, let them! Buggy was more than enough to deal with right now. Although she wasn’t happy about letting the pirates leave, the young warrant officer said nothing in response to the gunner’s taunt.

Buggy heard her retort to him and his reaction meditated until he could speak to her again freely. “It’s not different,” He spoke right out, “Your own government didn’t like your fleet admiral and never spoke out. Now he’s out having you all kill innocents and steal from the people. How different do you feel now?” He took a deep breath. “Though, I have changed. It took a pirate to teach a pirate what it meant to be the better person. And now that the best is gone, we’ve stepped up and become the best to get rid of the worst. Don’t you feel the good should step up to beat the bad, Carina?” He tried to sound as not intimidating as possible.

Fredjamin didn’t seem too unsettled and tried to pull away from Carina. He looked at her and said, “Don’t you see? This is a chance to move up further?!”

Some of the crew closer to Carina that hadn’t charged Truble and his men decided to charge Buggy. Buggy smirked a bit and his body split into several pieces and hit the few charging marines in places that would knock out and not kill then reassembled himself. He kept his gaze locked on the two and said, “Oh yes, this would be an advancement opportunity. Killing an unspoken Yonko. Do you know what happens when you kill one?” He smiled at them.

Truble looked at the Admiral and walked up to him and said, “I would thank you for not killing my precious Mako, but you’re a marine that lost his way when he let that bastard talk him into a suicide mission.” He looked down at him when they were right next to one another.

Cancer looked up at him and said, “So, you and the fish are together? I never thought you the type.” He chuckled a bit as he took out a cigarette and lit it, placing it in his mouth then offered him one. It was rejected by a cold stare. “Suit yourself… Though I should make an attempt to kill you.”

“Attempt away,” Truble spoke and placed his arms out, waiting for him to make the first move and a silent sign for his crew to keep out of this. The Admiral sighed and seemed like he really wanted to at least test his strength against him and punched him in the abs, missing one of his wounds. Truble smirked at this then said, “Let’s rumble…” He then punched at him and Cancer rolled to the side, parts of the ship behind where he was ripping apart in the tremor’s wake. Cancer pulled out a knife and jabbed at Truble, getting his hand caught and nearly crushed until he kicked him in a sensitive area. Truble released the hand but hit him with a punch that should have killed a normal untrained, but the Admiral rose back up and seemed tattered if not at least shattered.

A couple of the marines attempted to rush him again and he let his doctor frighten them with his death-like presence. Truble then met punch to punch with the admiral and they made the boat feel like it was going to shake apart.

She sat there Thinking about her captain Wondering what he would think about what was happening and what she was doing. Her mind raced with memories of the sand devil and what she had done. She thought about the marine that was stoned back in the brigg on the island she had left they had been at sea for awhile. She wanted to make things right but was this right? She shook the question from her head. She knew avenging her captian was right and couldn’t faulter she had to make sure things where right. As for now she needed to search through the cabin and find what she could.

Her mind wandered over her past. Soon her mind was filled with images of mock town.

A young blond girl was running through the streets with two steak knifes that looked like daggers i her hands they where being twirled as she moved she tumbled with them in her hands. She tripped on a root and rolled across there grou d the steak k ifes falling infront of her the boys that had been chasing her caught up with her and pinned her down with a twisted smile on their faces as the two started to run their hands up her thighs and soon they started to turn to stone. K owing what was happening but not k owing how to co trol it at this early stage i her life she just screamed demanding they stopped two pirates showed up and broke the boys hands off so they could get them off her and off her wrists the boys where dead at this point and lost.

At this point she came back and shook her head staring at the desk. She was wondering why that memory came back and just smiled knowing she would turn the fleet admiral to stone

“Innocents? The people? You’re talking about us killing and reclaiming money from pirates, not civilians and hard-working citizens!” Carina replied feeling a little frustrated with how much Buggy was making sense. Nobody seemed to like the fleet admiral, but why hadn’t anyone held him accountable? Because he’d rip them apart, she thought cynically to herself. Might makes right, after-all. Whether it’s marine or pirate hierarchy.

“Someone should rein in the fleet admiral, but that doesn’t mean you lot should get away scot-free for your crimes,” she protested. The way Buggy was using her first name made her bristle at the familiarity. “Of course the good should beat down the bad, but I’m not convinced that the fleet admiral is bad! He’s heavy-handed, but he’s only targeting bad people.” Or those he thinks are bad people. Was that fishman really not a pirate? He had a Sun Pirates tattoo, and it’s possible to change a tattoo if he really wanted to remove pirate affiliation.

Fredjamin at this point tried to pull away, so she loosened her grip as he urged them to fight the pirates and advance through the marine ranks. A few other crew members charged Buggy who swiftly disabled and incapacitated them with his bizarre fruit powers. Buggy taunted them with a smile, just daring them to try and kill him because he was a Yonko. The pirate’s attack on her crew plus his little challenge set Carina on edge. Well, this seems to be just a friendly fight, what the hell. I ought to at least try. Maybe I can learn how to better use my powers from this.

“Yeah! They’ll have to call you fools the Sanko, cuz they’ll be one less of you,” she challenged with a rebellious yet playful tone in her voice. She whispered to Fredjamin, “At least go grab a weapon first. And remember what I said about fruit…” She continued to focus on Buggy, “No way am I going to be a pirate just because of some dumb tradition y’all came up with. And you’re fighting my men, so as a rule I can’t let you get away with that.”

With that said, Carina launched a flurry of her toxic bubbles containing paralytic gas at Buggy the Clown. Two were aimed high around neck level while the others were knee height. Learning from her attempted attack at Mako, she decided to use her powers to pop the bubbles prematurely if the pirate looked like he would try to weave around them.

Meanwhile, Truble and the Admiral began fighting each other. Over the din of her own attacks, she could pick out the phrase “suicide mission” but refused to let the invading pirates try to demoralize her. After all, it would be in their best interest to try and dissuade them from their task. Carina turned her attention to Buggy, she’d need all the luck and focus she could get and didn’t have the luxury of watching both battles. All she could tell from the flurry of movement in her periphery is that they were really starting to go at it. The very boat felt like it was going to shake apart and the stirring of the deck underneath her feet threw Carina slightly off balance. She quickly returned to her feet and looked around for something to use on Buggy besides just her fists, feet and sword. Not seeing anything immediately useful, Carina decided to continue using long-range attacks on Buggy to see how he would respond.

-Axel was enjoying setting sail once again as they headed for the next island he was starting to use the rifle at least to increase his own sight so as to watch for ship as he looked through the scope not seeing anything he would place it down. It had only been a couple hours since setting sail once again so they were less likely to run into anything as that island was not very common for marines it seemed. Axel walked over to his orange tree and picked one peeling it slowly before he plopped it into his mouth as it was. He picked up a jug of fresh water and pored it into the large pot the tree was in. He went to the side of the ship with the large jug filled it full of salt water then went below deck and began distilling the water. He would do this a couple times to different jugs they had. he would give one of these large jugs to the human”don’t need you dying of thirst out here, If you get thirsty let me know i can make more fresh water”. He then went below deck again grabbing the large sword he had purchased and lifted it up, it was slightly heavy even for him which meant he would need to get use to this sword as he battled with it. Axel would climb back up holding the sword before he pulled off his bandanna revealing his black pony tail that fell to the middle of his back. He normally kept it in the bandanna so as to keep it dry but he needed to wash the bandanna as it started to smell from sweat. He dropped it picking up a net before diving into the sea holding the net bunched up. He swam quickly using the net to catch dozens of nice sized fish. This would feed them for weeks with such a large haul and it was all sorts of random fish some of them not common to this area of the sea. He figured they must have caught am underwater current that pushed them all the way here which meant it would have to come up again some where. He was unsure of what would cause the force to push from the grand sea all the way to the east until he saw it. He saw the large eye about one hundred yards away and all he could think was fuck my life. He saw the huge body as its spines circled and created currents and tsunamis on the surface. It was a massive sea king that was only ever found in the grand line but this thing got into the east blue. Axel made sure the net was secure before he shot back up onto the ship turned to the swordsmen” were getting out of here Now”! Axel opened up the sails so they could go full force away from the sea king luckily they were still heading in the direction they wanted to go. He held the wheel strong opening beyond hope they could get away from the massive beast before they became lunch. He had his sword beside himself just in case this beast wanted war which he would be happy to deliver.-

More than likely the room that had been thought to have been Yalbagoth’s on the ship would have been occupied by another member. The things she’d of been sifting through would have been property of one of the other crew mates. Specifically one that had appeared to have needed more space for one reason or another. The items seemed reminiscent of one that seemed to be assigned to be a master gunner, this member was currently on deck and had been happily taking to help scrub the deck with his shirt off. He had a tattoo marking him as former member of whitebeard pirates on the upper right side of his back. The rest of his back was marked with lashings from swords, whips, and other articles that seemed to have been used against the poor fellow. He was keeping himself away from the other members and just listened to the first mate from afar.

One of the other men had spotted a ship in the distance and yelled down the order of commands until the first mate came to the door and knocked, speaking through the door, “Hey captain, there’s a ship on the horizon. What shall we do?” Another member walked by the door and it was appearent that the first mate stopped them and was whispering, “Put those back” to the member. The member would leave again and that left the first mate standing alone and awaiting direction.

Buggy flew to pieces as attacks were launched at him in bubble form, the pieces spreading further and floating in the air away from the flying bits of poison as he said, “I have seen that fleet admiral of yours kill poor families who couldn’t pay tax.” His pieces spread out away from yet another barrage as he continued to speak, “I have seen your fleet admiral kill just because someone wouldn’t say what town they were from.” He floated around more of the barrages as his pieces got closer to her as they spread around the ship, avoiding the area of Truble and the admiral. “I have seen your fleet admiral cut down a whore just because she worked the streets for money.” His hands began to collect behind Carina as the rest floated about. “Every crime is a death sentence to him, so to him if you are not a marine, you are a pirate.” The hand would reach out to poke her gently before spreading apart again. “Even then we just saw him execute a marine as a pirate, so no one is safe.”

Another hand formed over Fredjamin’s mouth and held it shut as he struggled, screaming through it for help. Another part of him flew out and jabbed him in the neck, knocking out poor Fredjamin as he left out a gasp for air then fell to his knees. When Buggy’s hand pulled apart again, he reassembled behind Carina and said, “Even if I toyed with you, there is no way you can win. From the last record your scum friends have on me, I might as well now be a Cheshire Cat, everywhere and yet if you dare to look I am nowhere.” He stepped forward and said, “You gave away all of your tricks? I am just starting to show mine.” He started to piece apart once more with a smile on his face. “Your choice now, continue, or let your target walk free so that you and your comrades can fight another day for that bastard you call a Fleet Admiral.”

The Admiral charged up and they collided hands, the Admiral’s arms making a distinct cracking noise as the bones shattered. He backed off and huffed. Truble looked at him and said, “Good attempt, but obviously him being so nervous about fruit users has weakened your uppers. I will fight you again when you are ready.” Truble left him as such and went back onto his ship. The doctor of his went to the admiral and injected him with something that seemed to place Cancer at ease. Then the rest followed him on.

“Fuck you,” Mako said on his ship while he had gotten on. “How come if I want answers, it’s ‘chill the fuck out Mako’ but if you wanna fight for fun, you go right on at it and make sure your crew won’t let anyone else do shit? I call bull!” She was laughing a bit about it but was interrupted by a kiss as they went to go move the ship. “I coulda sank them ya know.”

Admiral Cancer stood up though his arms would need repaired. He looked over at the fight going on with Buggy and yelled, “Stand down!” He was glaring right at Carina and Buggy. “Please don’t harm my men or toy with their minds. Just go…”

Buggy reformed to look at him and smirked a bit, seeing Truble start to go away. “Her choice.”

The swordsman relaxed most of the time and took his precious time with helping himself to the water. Whilst his captain took to the waters, he decided to make the ship a tad bit more homely. He grabbed an orange for himself and tossed it into the air. He attempted to slice in horizontally in half but he missed all but the top and looked at his target with a sigh. He stabbed his blade into the orange and huffed, picking it up now to just eat at the grains and removed the seeds with his tongue. He would save the seeds for his magnificent being that had captivated his attention and became his very captain. This was when he saw him dash out of the water frantically and demand they move now. He began to get up and started to help set the sail when he felt a wave try to push the ship and saw the gorgeous reticulated spines pierce through the water. He looked at Axel since he had seen it coming towards them and asked, “Can we not stay a little? I want to touch it.”

This was when from afar, the water seemed to slice in half in the direction of the Sea King. The dragonic looking creature’s head sprung from the water and revealed a slice upon its face. It roared loudly and pummeled into a different direction. The one responsible for such a cut sped himself up a bit to allow it to lock onto him instead of the ship ahead. The Sea King did head straight for the one that had been tailing them and attacked, sending a wave back towards the poor ship. Their tail lost their own boat but managed onto the nose of the Sea King and slammed his enormous blade into it. He ran down the back of the Sea King as it flailed to get back into the water. Then as he reached the end somewhere near Axel’s ship, he placed the blade onto his back and leapt onto it, his feet sticking and him standing up. “Permission to board,” Mihawk meant to ask but considering the predicament he was now in, there was not much choice but to board.

The swordsman had been hanging on for dear life and said, “Oh sure, he can touch it but not me.”

Mihawk looked at the swordsman and then to Axel, “Who’s he?”

As her mind pulled back to the present she soon realized why. She also know realized why the memory had shown up. She was holding a picture and had pulled it out of the frame and was looking at the photo she blinked sighing. Seeing Whitebeard and a child. Though this pirate had taken care of him or given him the pleasure of spending time together “I see we were a band of misfits that protected pirates from a tyrant. “ She whispered to herself. Looking up to see her first mate standing just outside the doorway. Hearing that there was a ship in view she sighed and nodded slowly lifting seeing him speak to the other member and blinked wondering what that was about. “Let me see this ship.” She stated walking around the desk and out and looked down the hall to see where the other crew member had run off to than looked back to her first mate. “What was that about?” She was heading above deck when she felt the ship jerk in the sea as the waters became violent throwing her against a wall her head bounced having not expected it and her vision went black for just a moment and then restore but not before she stumbled nearly falling backwards on the stairs. She caught herself and pulled herself up and was shouting orders quickly. “Pull the Sails and what is going on there is no storm.” She then stumbled across the deck but started to bounce keeping herself on her feet tell she made it to the side of her ship grabbing the railing and a rope wrapping it around her arm so if she went overboard she wouldn’t be lost to these unforgiving seas. She thought there was something truly going against the pirates and looked out seeing another ship and a small dot, but got jerked all the sudden as another wave hit her ship and started to slide down the deck gripping the rope tight and shouted. “Stabilize this SHIP NOW.” She felt her arm jerk and grimaced looking up to her shoulder. Feeling the pain rolling through her arm she gripped the rope and pulled herself up to feet and grabbed the railing staring at the sea king and looked back to everyone closing her eyes. “We wait for it to pass we have no way to save that ship without endangering everyone on this ship.” She then looked back to her crew knowing they had lost too much already and she then looked back out feeling the ship rock again and nearly lost her footing. “Damn it’s easier to keep my footing on land” she whispered to herself and she decided to wait this out. “Keep us above the water and keep us from getting the seakings attention.”

-Axel saw the swordsmen come aboard and gave him a bow that nearly touched his nose to the deck of this” greeting Dracule, this is my swordsmen which I still have yet to address correctly as we never gained a moment to pass names I buried and marked the items then fled from the island. I believe he can become a legend as you and your pupil once were my Lord. But for the moment I need to take care of that fucking fish.” Axel bent low so his rear was almost touching the ground before launching strait up into the air spinning till he was now face first towards the sea and as he fell he brought his hands together and he brought his hands together piercing the sea and mary a ripple was disturbed as he cut through it mirror surface. He knew he needed speed and a lot of it so his legs came together and his tail took over as it began to move left and right faster and faster he made himself small as possible so little resistance would be forced on him by the water. Axel began to flow like that of a dragon piercing the water till he maxed out at speed. He then began to see them the coils of the sea kings body that hid its true size from what could be seen above. Axel began to swim between and around the coils each movement smooth and precise many times he let himself slide across the beasts flesh using its body as a perfect round path to direct him faster to the seas floor. He got closer with each he passed but he saw a problem they were growing more coiled but that meant they were on the sea floor to lay in such a pattern. He slammed into the coil making the beast flex along its entire body and the coils above became open giving him a clear shot this became aware when his perfect vision detected light even at this depth. He then let the air escape his lungs that he held on the surface that he had forgotten he was holding. He was more solid now ready for what needed to be done so he let the water pass through his gills allowing his enhanced liver become buoyant this would push him to the surface faster than normal fish. His kin needed this to forever swim but the shark men had adapted it to allow themselves to reach impossible speeds. He squeezed his body tightly kicking of the sandals. He moved his feet adjusting them ever so lightly so they were fully splayed out repeating the process with his hands. He then began to circle his hands together as he was going to use there technique the ones of his predecessors to allow this ability to be harnessed. He brought in his right arm at the elbow then rolling his shoulder building up all his strength he slammed his fist strait down at the sea kings body but because it was on the sea floor the tremors would flow down then shoot straight back up at Axel firing him straight up which was his plan. He thrashed his tail and threw his arms and legs out using his webbing to rocket to the surface with enough speed to cause heat even in these cold waters. A funnel was formed around him as he moved strait up bumping into parts of the sea kings that his sand paper flesh would rip the flesh from without even a split second wasted. He could see the light growing brighter so he began building up the power once more. He found himself ten feet from the surface and could see the beast above its surface but at this depth it appeared to be worlds away. But when Axel broke the surface he shot strait up with enough forced a large wave followed in his wake causing waves in every direction. He shot up like he was flying but mealy falling with style then he pulled his fist back just as before but this time as he made contact with the beasts head it was a strait punch with nothing solid on the other side to redirect the tremors so the beast would take it solid to its head. Axel would begin to fall looking back he would miss his ship but not a rock landing hard on a bit of coral he got knocked cold for a few seconds. He blinked it away before spitting a bit of blood but it wouldn’t last long was simply his body rejecting the extreme pressure he had placed on it. He rolled over feeling pain this told him he would need to recover over the next few days. He sat up looking to his ship then spotted something beyond it this was when he punched the rock he had landed on causing it to split in half. He screamed to Mihawk” Marines off the port side get out of sight ill handle this”. He dove back into the sea rocketing towards the ship seeing the beast coils flailing out as its face was more than likely in major pain from the ass whooping to just received but it was nothing compared to what he was about to do to these thieves that was his brothers vessel and they would pay all would pay as the marines knew no morality. He was swimming around the coils getting knocked around a few times as his pain was effecting his ability to swim strait but not enough to cause problem ending the lives of a few pointless marines on his kin’s property. He would shoot up out of the water landing kneeled on the boats deck rising up to his full height he roared with all of his rage” How dare you humans take the property of the dead, Dare your captain speak quickly or your next words will be to your judge in the locker”. He looked to each of them seeing the markings of pirates but he didn’t care for any of them till he spotted the kneeled over male with the white beard jolly roger “Newgate’s crest your my Lords son only they may wear that with honor”. He snapped his head looking to each of them looking for someone to step forward to give challenge. He looked over his shoulder at the sea king as it began to fall turning back to the pirates “ I’ve killed a Sea King, I Axel of the Sea Devils will deliver your last rights if you dare take action upon me or my crew”.-

Alice’s first mate decided to not tell her what the other member had found and needed to grasp a part of the ship before they were capsized. Those who weren’t holding on for dear life were running about the ship attempting to stabilize it. They were near oblivious to the hell they were about to go through. Alice’s first mate managed to keep himself up and ran to help stabilize the ship, hoping for the best and preparing for the worst as they were getting tossed about. They tried their best to stabilize but the sudden shout to do so brought the urgency to a new level until they were about to witness something great.

On the other ship, Mihawk didn’t like that they hadn’t exchanged names and watched as Axel dove into the water. He was surprised in this change of action but he would not question it. Axel’s swordsman was nearly about to follow his captain into the water but a firm hand stopped him. Mihawk looked at Nathan and said, “Trust your captain.”
“You touched it and now you’re touching me,” the male said in return, “That’s wicked cool.”
Mihawk couldn’t begin to comprehend how Axel was allowing this man onto his ship though he promised that he would be just as good. With how the world was, he could only hope for much more than an equal. One thing was for certain as the Sea King coiled and seemed ready to strike out once more. The beast only knew what had once ran from it was now back in the water and running again. It found this creature a target. It began to descend but felt pressure suddenly from the bottom. It wasn’t the only thing that felt it as the boat felt it as well. The two swordsmen upon his ship felt the ship move though Mihawk was more in tune than the other and knelt down and placed a hand down for balance where the other fell onto his ass. The beast roared in pain as it was swirled its coils tighter as the tiger shark fishman came up with a full frontal force against its skull. The entire time it was roaring in pain and also in fright of the oncoming fish.
The wave of the massive beast being knocked up shook both boats in its wake. Mihawk managed his balance by sheer will and had to grasp Axel’s swordsman before he fell off the boat. The other crew fared better at their distance as the crew simply struggled to keep it from capsizing. The awe was still there as the body of the beast lifted out of the water. The creature was marred and scratched no longer just from the blade of Mihawk, but from the flesh of the shark tearing across it. As water dropped from the massive beast, as did blood flow from its very flesh which looked as if it had rubbed up against a sanding belt stuck on full speed. Even a tooth from the great beast flew from its maw and rested back into the water somewhere beside the ship. The splash from the beast’s tooth would slosh water onto the deck of his ship but on the side it landed, the water wouldn’t touch the two swordsmen.

Axel’s swordsman at first wanted to call to his captain and check if he was alright due to him landing on the rock. His concern bypassed that of the predators he had just witnessed as Axel had just proven himself again the top predator. He heard the call to Mihawk, as did Mihawk himself. Mihawk wanted to bide his time as it was just a lower marine ship. If needed, he could take it on. He wouldn’t listen to the other swordsman insisting he got inside.

Alice’s crew seemed startled upon the arrival of the fishman and the ones that were already terrified, backed away from the angered fishman. The others looked towards him and the one stood when he was addressed. He looked to Axel and spoke to him in a strong yet calming voice, “Calm down. We’ve stolen nothing. Would you trust my word? If not our captain is right there.” He pointed to Alice. The crew would part the way and leave Alice there in the open with her first mate whom proudly bore the mark of the Buggy Pirates.
“You’d give up the captain just like that?” The first mate sneered at the other pirate as he seemed resentful. “Sounds like a repeat.”
“This isn’t the same,” The other pirate defended himself, “At least mine didn’t treat me like cannon fodder.”
The two exchanged a glare at one another then looked to the captain, though it seemed their argument could resume at any moment.

All the while, no one was paying attention to a conversation occurring on the snails. Tekei had decided to ask Truble a question that was very important to her, “Do you have any marks on your back?”
“Um,” Was his reaction to such a question, not truly seeing its relevance.
“I will be coming to take my grandfather’s crew back,” She stated simply as the flapping of wings could be heard through her snail.
His response was quick and said, “No! It’s not from battle.”
“Oh~!” Tekei seemed to understand then said, “I will still be taking it back… Oh look a flying Sea King…”
A very large bird comprised of what seemed to be fire was zipping through the sky as the Sea King began to fall again. The massive bird caught sight of the marine ship but seeing one with a familiar mark made her leave it be. She also saw the one who managed to knock it out of the water, impressed as her talons sunk into the flesh of the Sea King and she pulled it up into the sky. She also caught sight of the male known as Hawkeye, her tucking her wings in close to herself as she performed a barrel roll and the large capture was forcefully coiled around her heated body. Flames burst from her to create a bright light in the sky as the next thing that would be seen was the large bird carrying a somewhat charcoaled Sea King. To sharper eyes the bright light would be blinding, more so to those closer to her and those were the ones on the ship. She would then speak through again as she assumed since she had seen Mihawk that he was one of their others and said, “Thanks red fish thing! Would you like a piece of this back?”

Alice’s crew had all adverted their eyes to the flash and were astonished to what had happened. Some went back to their duties while the others looked to her for orders. It was clear that the half who went to their duties had seen worse, such as the first mate she enacted and the one whom had the captain’s quarters that bared the Whitebeard Pirate mark. The other half seemed frightened and were obviously of lesser crews who might have never seen such action.

Axel’s swordsman saw the flash and attempted to advert his eyes as quickly as possible, a slight echo of the phoenix’s form etched upon his retinas. He also forced an arm up to block the light but quickly used his aversion to turn and raise up despite the now dampened and nearly tossed ship to see where his captain had landed. He showed concern despite his thrill of yet another predator and stayed focused upon this as a crewmember. Mihawk had caught the flare too and averted his eyes as he closed them and raised an arm. When he placed his arm down and opened his eyes, he saw nothing. He kept his breath even despite knowing something was fully wrong, standing up and keeping his balance. He then decided with this condition in place, it was better to get out of sight in case they drifted too close. He felt his way into the ship and down into the storage hold. To his luck, the other swordsman had the brains to close the doors behind him. Mihawk sat himself in the cargo and closed his eyes. The other swordsman went to the back of the ship and gazed out at the other ship as they were now slowly progressing forward.

Carina hissed angrily as each attack of hers failed. She had half expected it from the start but seeing the confirmation in front of her eyes still stung as Buggy was easily able to keep up the conversation while dodging with his bizarre fruit powers. The pirate captain began to detail all of the horrible atrocities he had witnessed the fleet admiral commit in the name of his justice, some of which startled Carina enough to significantly lower her guard.

Did Fleet Admiral Nomikomu really kill someone because they wouldn’t say what town they were from? And had the Sand Devil really been a marine this entire time? Why would he kill him then? Firing sure, but killing someone because they sympathize with pirates is ridiculous!

While she was caught off guard, torn between her thoughts and the ongoing ‘battle’, she lost track of Buggy’s assorted disembodied parts, not noticing as his hand began to form behind her. He emphasized that not even she as a marine was safe from the Fleet Admiral’s wrath with a gentle poke in the back. Carina whirled about startled and wild-eyed by the sudden contact but Buggy had already spread his pieces apart again. If that had been a knife instead of a friendly poke, she would have been dead before she even knew it.

Meanwhile, poor Fredjamin struggled and shouted helplessly before Buggy knocked him out with a sharp jab to the neck. His handiwork complete and having thoroughly driven his point across, the pirate clown reassembled beside Carina and began to step forward menacingly, highlighting the fact that there was nothing the marine could do to stop him. Buggy passed down an ultimatum: continue to oppose him or accept that she was beaten and let the pirate walk free.

The girl glared at Buggy angrily, about to tell him just where he could shove his little ultimatum after beating up her friend when she heard Admiral Cancer bark at her to stop fighting with the pirate. The order rang clear across the ship, distinct and authoritative enough to snap Carina’s focus from the impending fight. She twisted to look at him, noting that the admiral had ceased the fight with Truble because of whatever that nasty cracking noise had been. Buggy reformed and smirked, as if their fight had little importance to him.

Carina wanted to punch that arrogant face so hard that his neck would break, but he had already defeated her by showing off how he could spread his self around to avoid her attacks. Fredjamin along with a good part of the crew was unconscious and Admiral Cancer was injured and unwilling to continue the fight. If she continued the fight, the whole ship would likely be killed, she’d be disobeying her commanding officer and even worse she still wouldn’t be able to defeat Buggy. With an angry look and clenched fists, Carina took in a deep breath and let it out in a dejected sigh. He’s strong, I’m weaker and that’s that.

“Fine, you win this time.” Carina admitted bitterly, her gaze dropping slightly to avoid meeting Buggy’s eyes. It was almost physically painful to confess her defeat even though, according to Buggy, there had never been any question of who was more powerful in the first place. “I won’t try and stop you from leaving.”
