1. I’ll be loose with the powers. You can be powerful but no godmodding.
2. You can be personality wise however you want. Good, evil, neutral, lawful, chaotic, etc… Combinations of each. Just a normal person. Do not complain about another person’s personality as an author.
3. Things you do have consequences. That goes for everyone, heroes and villains. The actions of the whole influences the city and shapes how it will turn out. You can control people but I will handle the public’s general opinion and the media depiction unless someone else can control it. Then I will narrate the media accordingly.
4. I do feel the need to touch on a few abilities right now. This list may expand in the future.
Life force draining- Requires person to be not resisting to work.
Bullet dodging- Bullets usually travel faster then sound. Which means you cannot hear a bullet coming until after you have been hit. You must justify dodging them somehow. Simply saying the person missed, or you got out the way before they before they shot.
Power dampening- This power I will not allow to be done lazily. You have to provide a good explanation on how you can disable that person’s powers specifically. Powers come from a variety of places and there is not a universally.
Super durability- I ask that you be very specific about this. If it isn’t mentioned you won’t be invulnerable to it. Also, being simply tough doesn’t mean things can’t knock you back. Not all projectiles are the same and not all blades are either
Reality warping- The following is imposed on you.
Possession/Telepathy/Mind control- Spirits and ghosts only potentially possess psychics. Telepathy can be resisted. I’m fickle about other forms of things that control the mind.
Super strength- Means little without leverage in some way. Excessively large objects can’t be picked up without breaking them. If you try to lift up say a building with sheer strength alone, you will only rip the wall out. Super strength means you have to have some toughness as a side effect but doesn’t necessarily make you bulletproof.
Time manipulation- You cannot go back in time and alter the past of this universe. You can travel forward in time. But it is a one way trip. If you freeze time, you cannot harm anyone and you also freeze a lot more then just people. When time is frozen, you also freeze light and air. Which means no breathing and no sight.
Super speed- This also requires some durability to stop your feet from turning to mush and you have to justify stopping quickly. Flash stepping is allowed however, it can only be done in a straight line and you have to break like a car. Going too fast can make the air and other things harm you if you collide with them. Explain this power very well.
Reality warping- Reality Benders cannot predict the future and can be taken by surprise.
Reality Benders have limited range and cannot affect what they cannot percieve.
Reality Benders cannot impose their will on anything if they have no will to impose.
Reality Benders have human foibles and can be manipulated emotionally and/or rationally.
Altering yourself is dangerous and can potentially kill/harm you.5. Rule of fun for the group as a whole takes priority.
6. No fandoms of superheroes. Expies are allowed however (Copies/look-a-likes). As are parodies. Can be like a character and look like them. But they cannot be the same. Don’t mind other kinds really.
7. Rules can and will change as I see fit and necessary.
8.* A rule of thumb for gaining new powers, is that I am ok with it as it is gained or developed in a logical and fair manner. No ass pulling. This is when one pulls a new power from no where, with no allusion to said power. I would not like to see someone pull a new power out of their ass in the middle of a fight when they are losing. Simply getting better at using the power(s) you already have is fine. As is gaining new equipment and skills.
If there is something already in the area that can give you new powers, such as another character, faction or object that can give you powers, that you can obtain, then that is another story. Not all ways of gaining new powers are ass pulls. If you want a completely new power you should run it by me as t how your character goes about getting it.
If you have another way you wanna balance one of those powers. Let me know. There are ways around a lot of the shortcomings of many powers and ways to balance powerful ones.
You can roleplay your character signing or simply agree. Whichever you prefer ^.^

Charlotte uses two pens to sign her first and last name onto the rules board just because she can.
-
Charlie signs the sheet accordingly. “agree… I guess…” the pressure putting him on edge but he seems happy to comply exactly as written.
-
What? Oh, of course. I can sign an autograph for a fan.
