Road to Gehenna’s Gates : NetherHell
The exact location of Gehenna’s Gates / NetherHell is often disputed. Demons know their way there because if they do not return to their designated inferno they are hunted and then tortured in the deepest part of Hell. Sometimes the rulers of the abyss make the road visible to capture a few wandering souls or to let the demons out to cause a little bit of chaos in the living world.
The Road to Gehenna’s Gates (or Highway to Hell) is filled with different places designed to keep some visitors trapped in limbo and some roads lead to a deadly battlefield where they wage the battle for their lives and souls.
The Road to Gehenna’s Gates is a dangerous journey where Hell Awaits.

*Chuckles as he notices Rika being a true chief but he knows that deep inside she isn’t as bold as her emotions reveal to him. He mutant powers and all, Rika would be at a disadvantage in this Citta Infernal, where the powers of the demons increased the closer they came to the gates. He realized that with the challenges ahead they would definitely be spending much more time in their current situation. But they had no rush, they only had to worry about how much Rika could handle of their environment. He hopes the acid rain doesn’t pour again while they are there. Looking up to the sky for a moment, he then grins and leads the way.* Ladies, brace yourselves. We’ll be here for longer than you expect to be.

Ugh! *She was not amused by the fact that this journey was going to take longer than expected and she had a hunch that her presence was nothing but a burden. “These supernatural beings do not understand the meaning of a soldier’s oath” *She thought to herself, standing quietly, observing the scenery around them* “If I could only connect with Noloty, she knows this realm almost to the palm of her hand” *She was so deep in her thoughts that she didn’t realize that she was making a physic connection with her*

Mephisto: *He noticed Rika acting peculiar. So as they approached the city with little challenge, he spoke to her.* Time is different here, sometimes it’s slower and other times it speeds by but as a form of torture time seems almost frozen here. You should not ask Noloty to come here unless it’s an emergency. It might trigger events beyond your control Chief Rika. *he would turn and wink at her.* Let us just move forward, besides, was it not your conviction to stay. And didn’t Hadesu give you something, an important task? *he gets closer* You wouldn’t want to let him down, now would you? *he teases and then looks to Lilith and Hela wondering if they remember anything about the place they were currently in.* Those two have been here before Rika and perhaps even one other. *He then moved towards a large dark tunnel leading into the city.* Let’s move forward then.

*Hela stood before the city’s dark tunnel. She realized it would not be wise brighten up the place so she adjusted her amber eyes like a cat would in the night. She looked over to Lilith to give her the same hint.* Lilith, I remember we were in this place. This road that leads to the gates of Gehenna, we’ve been here before with one other. The goddess Urd, isn’t she part demon? Could it have been her? *She twirled her swords and looked up and down the tunnel where she could she shapes crawling about.* I think we’ll learn more about ourselves while we are here. I feel such delicious power here! Do you feel the same?

*She was listening to her sister but also was focusing her attention towards Mephisto and Rika. She noticed that the mutant was in some sort of trance then turns to continue the conversation with LuzHela* I agree with you, this power is incredibly tempting! *She Takes a deep breath then bites her lower lip* I believe I was here…raised by Goddess Urd herself but back then she was more demon than Goddess. *sighs as she couldn’t remember more* Let’s move forward sis, I have the feeling we will indeed learn more about ourselves. *Looks back to Mephisto and Rika then continues to walk alongside her sister*

*She broke her connection with Noloty as she heard Mephisto speak; still with her eyes closed, she replies* I’m not calling Noloty to come here, besides… *slowly opens her eyes* …I wouldn’t want her here. I’m sure words couldn’t even describe her behavior down here. *She holds on to her pouch and feels the stone that was given to her and leans back a bit as he got closer* Indeed! I do have a task to take care of and I will do my best that it is done. *she then looks at the sisters and immediately heard their conversation and nodded, agreeing with him* And it seems that they are beginning to remember, especially Lilith.

*As they began to cross the dark tunnel she could hear the the tortured souls that were being experimented on within the city. She tried to contain the strange excitement she felt at hearing the blood curling screams and cries for help. She would shake her head wondering why she would take pleasure in such a thing. She felt a claw reach for her and looked aside as a demon held a dagger and tried to plunge it into her. She grabbed the demon’s claw and broke his hand, she covered his mouth to keep him from screaming, she flipped him over her back and held him in a headlock until the creature was lifeless, she dropped it to the floor and continued walking. She noticed a few other demons step back when they saw the amount of strength Hela had but there were more up ahead who were ready to jump down on all of them to keep them from completely entering the city. She whispers to Lilith* You see them up ahead. Those bastards are ready to launch an attack all at once. Be on your guard!

Chief Rika, stay close to me. *he cautioned. He could see the movement of sly demons that were dwelling in the cave trying to get closer. They wanted to snatch up any of the guests in their cave. They would stay away from Mephy because he had a familiar and dangerous scent to them. Their eyes would glow as they watched Mephy and the ladies walk through the cave that seemed endless.* This cave gives the illusion we are never reaching it’s end. Don’t fret my ladies, we’re almost there. Be ready to feast your eyes on a horrifying metropolis! *He then felt a claw reach for Rika. Mephy grabbed the claw and the demon and flung him like a piece of trash all the way to the back end of the cave.* As I was saying, *feeling annoyed that he had been rudely interrupted.* You may not like what you see. *he then looks at Rika. I’m not so much worried what they will remember, *he whispered* instead the temptation of their powers, because the closer we get to the gates of gehenna, the more they will increase. They have not been in this place for so long, one doesn’t know what kind of reaction they will have to this increase in demonic stamina.

*She walks alongside her sister as they walk through the dark eerie cave. She observes Rika and Mephisto and notices how the demons react when he passes by, this made her incredibly curious then leans towards LuzHela and whispers* Look how these pests reacts when Mephisto passes by. Mmmm…make me wonder… *She stopped as she saw a claw reach out towards Rika and chuckled seeing her reaction* What’s wrong, mutant! Your telepathic abilities just went puff! *She immediately senses another claw reaching out for her; she uses her wings to shield herself from the attack and once she was able to step away, her right wing turns into tentacles and pierced the demon throughout its whole body* Get your claws off me, you filthy beast! *Watching the lifeless demon fall to the ground, her wings shapes back to normal and continues her path* That felt good…very good!

*She was closely beside Mephisto as they were heading deep into the dark cave, it was getting darker the further they walked. As she was about to get her night vision goggles, she felt a claw grab her by the arm and pulling her to a dark corner. She tried to get a hold of her gun but was released thanks to Mephisto* Arigato! *She raises her eyebrow when she heard Lilith mocking her and preferred not to respond* I suppose this is nothing compared to what we’ll see once we enter the metropolis.

*Devil Jin had sent a welcome party for the travelers. He would be busy fighting with Kin in the Inferno, he calls home but he wasn’t about to let the travelers get into the city without a proper challenge. The challengers would focus on their prey one by one.*

*Hellequin was known as a a black faced emissary of the devil, roaming the countryside with a group of demons chasing the damned souls of evil people to hell* -
Traggal of Ur: *an ancient demon of perversions and pain. He had flicked his tongue at his opponent Lilith.* You have caught my eye. I can just taste you by flicking my tongue in the air! *His main strength were his legs shaped to allow him to leap high and far and his deadly claws as long and sharp as the most refined daggers.*

GoatDemonBoss: This demon had seen Hela crack one of his minion’s necks and kill it instantly. He was twirling his fists against the floor making a loud grinding noise. His nostrils flared as he eyed his opponent.* Let’s see if you are as strong as you try to make yourself seem to be. *He would not shift his stare, his bulky body cast an eclipse type shadow within the tunnel leading towards the city.*

A demoness that had learned the art of black magic had a bone to pick with Mephisto who had fought her once before.* You! *she pointed with her crocked claws at Mephy. You’ll pay for what you did to me! I will steal your powers and make myself young and beautiful again!
