R-P!!
-
Koharu smiles, nodding. “Yes, that’s was very good!” he claps. “You sing and play wonderfully!”
-
Nagisa looks down and smiles, “Ah… you think so… I’ll, um write it down…” He fiddles with his backpack until he produces a sheet of paper, one side had music scribbled haphazardly on it. He began to write the lyrics on the other side in scribbly, barely legible handwriting.
-
Koharu watches as Nagisa writes. “You know, this is making me very excited. I haven’t sang like this in a while. I did a lot of musicals and talent shows at school, but I can’t do that anymore. I sang in this bar a couple of times, but, it wasn’t really an audience.”
-
Nagisa nods, “I’ve never really performed in front of people before.” He picks up the guitar again and begins to strum a mellow chord progression.
-
“Well,” he pauses. “Maybe we can go to a bar? Or just down to the train station and sing live. Just to get a little practice in.” Koharu suggests, tilting his head slightly.
-
“You want to do that with me?!” Nagisa stands up, looking exited, “…Ah, but Im not old enough to go to the bar… But it would be fun, right? Can we?”
-
Koharu bites his lip, thinking for a moment. “Uhh… we can still do the train station thing. But, I do know some café like places that let anyone in and there you are allowed to preform.”
-
“I dont really care, either way it sounds fun!” Nagisa said, a large grin on his face. He pit his hand over his chest, beginning to pace a little, talking really fast. “Ah… I’m really exited, I haven’t done anything like this before, my heart is going like ‘thump’ it feels weird”
-
Koharu smiles really big. “Yeah, me too! But when your heart is doing that, it’s that adrenaline rushing through your body because you’re just ready to PLAY!” he jumps a bit. “Do you wanna do now and just play and sing whatever?”
-
“”Yeah!!!! Let’s go!” Nagisa slings the guitar over his shoulder and runs out the store, but walks back in after a few seconds, awkwardly scratching the back of his head “erm, do you mind if I borrow this? I left mine back at a friends house…”
-
Koharu grabs the store’s keys and his phone, he takes his name tag off. “Oh yeah, I don’t mind.” he switches over the “Open” sign to “Closed”. “Alright. Lets go!”
-
“Ok!” He follows Koharu out of the store, “So, um where’s the place?” He started to revert back to his usual timid tone of voice.
-
“Well, we would have to take the train to get to the café that I want to get to. So, maybe we can start singing in the station and then when the sun starts to set a bit we can go to the café and sing there for like a night show?” Koharu closes the store’s door and locks it shut. “How does that sound?”
-
Nagisa nods, “Yeah! It sounds fun!! Ah, but hopefully teacher doesn’t find out…” He scratches his cheek and looks down a little “..she’ll make me play cello for 4 hours again…” He mumbles and looks back up to Koharu, “but that probably won’t happen!”
-
“Hopefully!” Koharu smiles a bit, feeling a tad bit sorry for Nagisa. He begins to walk towards the station. “This is gonna be great, I just know.”
