*It was a strange combination. A lab to research medical inquiries and an area in the back to develop weapons to keep the clan safe and  well armed. Leo had picked up his long silver hair in a pony tail. He wore goggles and a lab coat over his usual business attire. There he worked hard on the weapons necessary for the family to get through their next missions. Earlier he had been finishing strong antibiotics for the TB strain that was killing some humans and as soon as he finished he was back in the weapons lab.* I know they want to go in on foot so let’s make sure the swords can cut through tough demonic flesh and those strange trees in the demonic Gehenna region. *He sighs* I need more holy water for the bullets. I’ll have to go to the cathedral. I thought I had all the supplies. Well, in my rush I suppose I forgot that. *he removed his goggles and lab coat and headed to the air compression area. Afterwards, he headed back to the empire.*

*She arrives and notices big brother Leo far down the hallway leaving the lab.* He’s hard at work too! *She puts on her mechanics coat, puts up her hair and sits at her desk. There she develops two virtual assistants to do some of the tasks their family was sometimes all to eager to take on but could sometimes open them up to harmful events. So these two new androids would be trained by Tama, Tamaki and other family members to be guardians, greeters and assistants. It took her a while but it kept her mind from focusing too much on the mission. She planned to do this and then help Leo with some of the weapons they would be taking to rescue her father Kin.* Alright! I’ll name them Echo and Sonar but they’ll only be used when needed. *she smiles* I hope the family likes them. *She sat back and studied them carefully to make sure and adjust anything necessary before releasing them to the public.*  Now! Let’s get to my next task. I’ll go over what Leo has done and see if I can help him with any of his tasks. Oh! he left a note? *she reads it and notices he had gone to get some holy water.* Oh good! And I got some of the herbs from the garden that Yukio said would serve to repel some demons during our venture.

They had designed some suits that would be useful to certain family member, enhancing certain elements of their abilities. Others would help them in areas where they may not have been so agile. She would smile as their creations came to life.* We’ll have to coordinate a testing phase for these. *She looks over to Leo.*

*Rika visits the medical center and goes to the lab to give the new outfits a try* Hello Lady Alfonsina! May I try one of these new outfits? *After waiting a while and given a specialized outfit for her to wear, she was surprised at how it looked on her but she had a bit of a questionable facial expression when she tried the helmet* The suit fits perfectly but the helmet looks like spider eyes to me *she looks to Alfonsina and chuckles*

*Ali was excited to see everyone eager to try out the outfits. She would smile.* Hai! You may take the outfits out on the field to test them out. Any defects should be reported back for quick adjustment and the defective parts should be easy to remove. A sort of mini drone will retrieve it and take it out of your hands and return it to me here for repairs. So, Chief Rika! I’m honored you would try one of these suits. This one fits you perfectly. I did create it with you and your abilities in mind. *bows* Arigato! Ah the helmet !! *She laughs* That can be customized but there is a reason for this. The helmet gives you a wider range of visibility.

*Basophil had been asked to work at the institute to do the research that Doctor Yukiko asked of him. He had no objections. All his findings had already been sent to Sacred SatouFlame, so even if he had objections, he knew they would convince him otherwise. He continued his work and reporting his findings to Yukio, Yukiko and Alfonsina. They would then further study it and bring back some suggestions to him. He understood why they wanted to understand why the beings that had been obliterated before, appeared again in the borderlands at such a rapid rate and it was clear it was some kind of magical ability, the problem was how rapidly these newer monsters were regenerating, reproducing and mutating. None of it was good news but he was determined to help them and help find ways to decrease the threat for those passing through the borderlands. He looks at his monitor and things looked rather worrisome.*
