Within the Sanguinarium Society, there were a few donors who protected their master. Those vampires with an adversity to daylight would remain in the Nightside Sanctuary during the hours of sunlight to avoid the painful exposure to the light of day. These vampires were also more traditional in their ways and disliked the mixed breed vampires. Their ancient rules sometimes irked other vampires but some of those rules were necessary for their survival.
