  A Number of Little Ideas

  Let us play a little game. Post a few short ideas, phrases or sentences, anything that someone could use to be inspired. Then, try and expand upon the post previous.

  I’ll start us off with some samples.

  #1. In this town, instead of pigeons, there are little red land-based octopi. They clamber between trees and harass tourists for food.

  #2. Made from a glossy black stone, this shield-shaped amulet seems to constantly tug its wearer away from danger and off to distant lands. Where it is pointing is a mystery.

  #3. A suit of armour, haunted by the spirit of an ancient warrior, searches for someone worthy of wearing it.

  #4. In a nearby town, an old mine-shaft infested with a crystalline plant is becoming a problem.

  #5. Somewhere in the midst of a deep-space gas cloud, in perfect darkness, sits a research station. You are sent to spy on it, but everything you discover creates more questions than answers.
