    Mission ranks for ninja

    D-rank: Assigned for Genin consists of manual labor with no risks of danger

    C-rank: Assigned for experienced Genin or Chūnin, their is no combat and is usually escorting or guarding something along with capturing a wild animal that is disturbing the peace.

    B-rank: Assigned to Experienced Chūnin, they are missions that anticipate combat with other ninja. Examples are guarding people, espionage, or killing other ninja.

    A-rank: Assigned to jōnin, involves village or state level matters and errands, among other things. Examples are guarding VIPs or suppressing ninja forces.

    S-ranks: Assigned to experienced Jōnin concerning state level confidential matters. Examples assassinating VIPs, and transporting highly classified documents.
