Ranks

Academy student: Students being trained for the life of a shinobi, they are not part of the shinobi force because they are still learning the basics of the ninja life style.

Genin: lowest level of ninja, they get sent on missions to help their economy. They usually take on D-rank missions as they usually consist of no risk of danger and manual labor. Rarely are they sent on C-rank missions which are a little more risky.

Chūnin: they are ninja that are qualified to lead other ninja on missions. Genin that do not have the skills for Chūnin are weeded out at the Chūnin exams until next time of corse.

Tokubetsu Jōnin (Tokujō): these ninja rather than being a Full Jōnin they only have Jōnin level skill in a certain area. They are elite specialists in their field and company other Jōnin when their services are needed.

Jōnin: Generally highly-Trained shinobi, They serve as military captains and are often sent on S-ranked missions. Experienced Jōnin are sent on S-ranked missions which are believed to be greatly difficult.

Kage: The leader of one of the Five Great Shinobi countries’ hidden villages. The Village Kage is known to be the most powerful Ninja.

Special ranks

Ansatsu Senjutsu Tokushu Butai (Anbu): Special Assassination and Tactical squad. They are covert operatives that order directly to their Kage. Their are specialized groups of this Rank to deal with different matters, they have a tattoo on their shoulder signifying their special rank and typically where masks resembling animals or blank stuff.

Medical Core: they work behind the scenes and heal the sick and wounded, their skills seem like magic even to Jōnin. They are highly respected, they their Chakra to heal wounds, Ect. with a green light coming from their palms. They where white suits with a sign on their forehead to signify they are from the medical core. Medical ninja can also go on missions in regular ninja apparel as well with other ninja.
