*A den with all the Sugar Family historical and biographical books. It also houses all the books with necessary spells and archaic information pertaining to the family. There are also regular books and story books stored in the lower shelves.*

*Meanwhile, in the Sugar Family Library.* Hurry minna! We have been tasked with making sure the library books are arranged in perfect order! Cousin Leo said he’ll come check on it himself later. If we don’t get to work, we’ll miss out on the festivities!!

  • *He helps organize and when he finishes his set he sits down to read a book that catches his eye.*

  • *While Peipain assisted in the organization of the Sugar Family library, Ailane was relaxing after having finished her book report that she would be presenting at school.* Peipain! Don’t forget to leave out any other books on the music industry. I have to do a follow up after my presentation. @peipain

  • *There were still plenty of books to shelve at the Sugar Family Library. They had a very vast history and a tremendous collection of books of all kinds. Some were at the True Cross Academy but there were some more dangerous ones that would remain in their possession. Only imitations of those books could be in human possession to keep them from seeking them out. Tanya woke up early to help shelve the books. She was able to go through all the amazing military manuals while she slowly organized them. This is why it took so long to get all the books in the shelves, family would simply end up reading them.*

  • *Yukiko sat in a quiet area of the family library, looking through the 1608 book known as Historia del Huerfano (The Orphan’s Story). The Orphan’s Story tells the tale of an orphan who leaves Spain at age 14 to seek adventure in the Spanish colonies. Some of it’s pages had been given to the human world for publishing but the family confiscated it before more of the cursed pages fell into the wrong hands. The first release begat a series of events that many said had to do with the pages of the books and a curse. So the family had to re-create some of it’s pages and hand it to the Hispanic Historical Society. There was some history there and the family couldn’t hide it but the things that were not meant to be seen were kept in the family library. The story was said to be written between 1608 and 1615 by Martín de León y Cárdenas, a Spanish Augustinian but it was rumored that the Spanish Augustinian may have had a demon whisper in his ears. The world believed there were previous attempts to publish the book but that it had all led to mysterious and freakish accidents that led to more rumors that the manuscript was cursed. And perhaps the rumors weren’t rumors at all. Humans have a sixth sense that they don’t normally listen to and dismiss it as fantasy but the clan knew better. Once they tracked town the book and opened it, they could see the letters that ignited like fire on the pages that didn’t burn. Many who worked on releasing the manuscript had died and so there was no way of hiding it’s existence, the clan altered it for the public and kept it’s cursed pages enclosed in their library. The historical aspect was of big interest to humans. It was when the world was releasing ships from Spain to the supposedly unconquered territories of what is now Latin America. Tales of parties, bullfights, conquest, tragedy, slavery, and what the family sought to keep out of human hands, strange mystical spells. Dangerous and deadly spells that were better in the hands of those who would guard these books and keep them safe. Among these spells, Yukiko sought to find the recipe she needed to create a satisfying potion for her patient. But she wanted to make sure it was temporary so that the strange woman would have to return time and time again to the hospital. This would allow Yukiko to keep tabs on her. She had the feeling there was something malevolent about her. She couldn’t take the chance of giving her something permanent and then having her try to hurt those she loved but she did have a duty to her patients and she wasn’t going to forgo this. She couldn’t use the Elixir of Immortality because, she didn’t want to grant her immortality and Thoth-sama had asked that it be returned to him and they had to hand over the manuscript of that potion to Rei to hand it to him. So she needed something strong but not strong enough to make the woman or creature an immortal.* Aha! Something similar here! *She read through it vigorously and would not be bothered to come out of her room for quiet some time as she read and memorized all she needed to the potion.*

*Kuno was relieved to learn that his haiku had been preserved in the family library.* I thought they would burn these.

*Reading a few books about witchcraft and spells that Noloty had suggested for some upcoming rituals they may perform* Geez! What on earth that crazy one is up to?

  • *Momo was comfortable in the family library reading books that held rich details of interest to her. While she noticed that Yukiko was lost in thought.* Maybe we should go out and get a few fiction books for our entertainment. *She suggested as she slowly sat up to see what Yukiko would say.* @savvydemonflameyukii

  • *She slowly turns to look at her younger sister Momo, stars are sparkling in her eyes as the suggestion made by her energized her completely and brought her out of her thoughts.* I love it! We’ll definitely go do that. Let me call to see if the new spot brother Leo said everyone was working on recently is fully open to the public and then we’ll arrive together with our sisters! hehe *She gets up to put her book away and heads to her room to change.*
