*Gentoka was amazed at how clearly he could hear his family, he could practically hear their heartbeats and he could smell the great foods. In his mind, he tested himself and tried to figure out which foods he was smelling or who’s scent was closes to him. He felt when his uncle Yukio took off his bandage and his grandmommy Helena kissed his forehead. The strangest thing was that although he was blind, his grandmommy Helena’s aura was as clear and bright as the light of the sun. It was amazing and he had to actually close his eyes as he approached. He even sensed his grand auntie Noloty’s guilt and noticed when she left and it made him sad that she was having trouble with the events that happened. But Gentoka had no scars, the potion cured the wounds quickly. And he looked like he normally did, except that he was blind now. He would reach out his hands to touch anyone closest to him and smile. And his brothers and sisters surrounded him telling him everything that happened in the room made it even more lively for him. He was happy, he didn’t care that he had been blinded, he had accepted this as a casualty of the battle and he would work around it. Besides, he had everything he needed right here, his family whom he deeply loved. * Happy Thanksgiving! *he yelled out and chuckled, his kitsune ears perked up as he heard their loving response.*

*Damiana was enthralled by her cousin Gentoka. He was just beautiful. Even with all he had been through he was smiling and laughing. It made her happy. She had finished enjoying a fulfilling and uber delicious meal. So as soon as she finished she got up and went around picking up the dishes of anyone who was done. This way she could do her part to help out. Family always worked together and didn’t have to ask what they needed to do, most of the time they could figure it out and just do it. They were like a huge well oiled tight machine. She giggled at the thought.* Happy Thanksgiving my beloved family! I love you all too! Domo arigato! The meal was amazing!

*Tomoe sat close to his big brother Gentoka. He would tell him anything that was going on that Gen couldn’t see or hear. They had such a laugh that they almost dropped their drinks.* Happy Thanksgiving! *he would repeat and raise his glass for a toast. He was enjoying all the sake and was dying to have some of the Absinthe but it was held hostage at the elder’s table.*

*Miketsu made sure that Gentoka had everything they were eating. He would go so far as feeding him some dessert.. But Gentoka was strong will and insisted he would do it himself. So Miketsu would simply guide his hand to where the utensils were and would direct him where everything was.* Elder brother Gen, if you need me to help you get around, we’ll study the layout of the house and we’ll do anything you need until you are able to do it on your own. *he was going to make sure his brother was independent even if he couldn’t see.* I love you too family! The food has been graciously served and delicious! I am in appreciation. *he would stand up and bow, helping to clear his brother’s plates once in a while and then returning to sit with him.* Happy Thanksgiving to all!

He sat across from Gentoka on the table so he could watch him and be able to analyze what his brother might need now that he was blind but given the circumstances, his brother was doing well. * I’ll help picking up too since everyone else was cooking and setting up. *As he picked up he noticed some family sleeping in the living room couches and chuckles.*

*The triplets were at the table talking with their cousins about sports, family and the last battle. They then focused on the food and the desserts. Everything was delicious, they tried everything and even what they had in each others plates. There were all types of mocktails they could chose from since they didn’t feel like having alcohol. And once they were full they sat back in their chairs rubbing their bellies.*

He brought back a small cup with the Absinthe they had been eyeing.* I want to know why this one is their favorite too. I heard it’s strong enough to make you see green fairies or little green men. *he joked* Here! let’s split it up if it’s that strong, a small sip is all we need. *he was definitely curious but he had finished eating and finished dessert. He was feeling happy and he was excited that all the family had gathered together for this occasion. They normally didn’t get together for thanksgiving and this was probably a one and only time.* Cheers and Happy Thanksgiving family!
