Isami Kondo (近藤勇): the head quoter of dojo and the commander of Shinsengumi. Sword style “Tennenrishinryu (天然理心流)”

Toshizo Hijikata (土方歳三): Mokuroku (目録, higher rank) and the vice commander of Shinsengumi. Sword style “Tennenrishinryu (天然理心流)”

Soji Okita (沖田総司): Menkyo Kaiden (免許皆伝, the master) and chief instructor of the Dojo. The captain of 1st unit of Shinsengumi. Sword style “Tennenrishinryu (天然理心流)”

Shinpachi Nagakura (永倉新八): The guest sword master of the dojo. The captain of 2nd unit of Shinsengumi. Sword style “ShintoMunenryu (神道無念流)”

Hajime Saito (斉藤一): The guest sword master of the dojo. The captain of 3rd unit Shinsengumi. Sword style “Mugairyu (無外流)”

Genzaburo Inoue (井上源三郎): Menkyo Kaiden (免許皆伝, the master). The captain of 6th unit of Shinsengumi. Sword style “Tennenrishinryu (天然理心流)”

Sanosuke Harada (原田左之助): The guest spear master. The captain of 10th unit of Shinsengumi. Spear style “Shudenryu sojutsu (種田流槍術)”
