Barnaby quickly follows Leppu, he runs through the water fall, becoming soaked in the process. He stands on the other side, looking at everyone. Barnaby’s bangs fall over his face. He grabs Leppu by the collar, dragging him a few steps back away from the portal. “That’s not safe,” he says under his breath.

Leppu looks at him with the slightest race of anger on his face, “Hey! Theres a portal here, whats the point of it if we’re not supposed to jump in? Hence…” Leppu struggles unsuccessfully to escape Barnaby’s grip, “Uh, this is the point when you let go and I heroically leap into the portal?” He started kicking around and pouting like a child, unable to escape, “This is no fair! You’re cheating by being taller than me…”

Lawrence floats through the waterfall, the droplets suspended in the air around him as he drifts towards the ‘portal’ “not sure what this is.”

“Its the ethereal gate… I think!” He says confidently and begins squirming around again, “Now lemme go! I need to jump in the thing!!”

“You think.” Barnaby looks at Leppu blankly, he cocks his head to the side. He doesn’t let go of his collar. “So–you’re–uh–not–uh–sure…?”

“Im completely 100% with all my heart sure! …I think” He reaches his arm out, trying to reach the portal, “Its totally fine, alright? I’m so exited to see it cause I didn’t think it was real! So lemme at it!” He squirms around more vigorously with excitement as well as frustration.

Barney rolls his eyes, gently letting go of Leppu’s collar. He takes a few steps back. “Okaaay.” he says softly, looking at the portal.

“Yes, finally!” He stretched out his arms, “Whulp, here I go!” He saluted again, trying to salvage his moment of glory. Leppu jumped through the portal, only to land painfully on the floor, “Ow…owowowow….. that was underwhelming… What the hell, ethereal gate! I though we where friends…” Leppu does an orz (sorry, don’t know how else to describe it) and sniffles, beginning to tear up slightly, “my life is meaningless…” he shoots up and leans his head up with his arms behind his neck, “You guys wanna get sodas? On me!”

“You people need to stop following me and maybe I’ll possibly get some quiet.” Skylar had walked out of the room and created a river to prevent them from following her. She had sighed finally getting some quiet.

“Heyhey!” Leppu says, instinctively jumping into the river, “But we’re friends now, right? And how do you make water anyway?” He said, head beginning to go under the water slightly, “I-forgot I cant swim…” He said, water filling his mouth. He frantically scuttled to the river bank and clung onto it for dear life, “This was a bad idea… h-how do I get up?” he said with a panicked voice.

Skylar had made the river disappear leaving Leppu on land. “We’re not friends. You followed me thinking I was a spy person or whatever. I rather not be followed and bothered.”

Leppu coughs for a moment then says with a scratchy voice and an expression like a scolded dog, “I-I’m sorry…” He paused for a few seconds, waning to say something more but unable to think of anything, “Please…don’t hate me”

Barnaby stumbles out of the room. He looks at Ashleigh and Leppu. “Is everyone–uhhhh–alright?” he pauses, leaning against the wall.

“Yeah. We’re fine. I’m going back to my room.” Skylar had walked back to her room creating small hurricanes in her hand to entertain herself.

Leppu sits up, still dripping wet from the river, “this sucks… I’m gonna get a soda…” He says sadly, wiping a clump of sodden hair from his goggles.
