(Kms SORRY HAHA OOPS)
Barnaby walks over to Leppu, holding out his hand. “H-here, let me help–uh–you up.” his lips curl to form something of a smile.

Leppu takes Barnaby’s  hand “Thanks, do you wanna get a drink with me? I know a guy who works at the food place and he gives me free stuff sometimes.” He says, his happy disposition returning, “What’s your name, by the way?”

Barnaby looks blankly into Leppu’s eyes. “Um. Uhhhh.” Barnaby thinks for a long moment. “Yeah.” he says quickly, pulling Leppu up. “My name is….ummmm….what’s my name? Uhhh–let me–uh–think about that one.” Barnaby crosses his arms, his eyebrows crunch together. He bites on the inside of his cheek, looking down at the floor. “Ummmm….uhhhhh….”

Leppu tilts his head to the side, “You’ve forgotten? Did the organization wipe your memory? Those bastards…” He pauses for a second, not sure what to say, then with nonchalance bordering on insensitivity says, “oh well, I’m sure you’ll remember sometime, so lets get soda!” He quickly strikes a heroic pose, takes Barnabys hand and breaks into a run.

Lawrence follows at a faster pace than usual, slowly spinning around.

Barnaby stumbles behind Leppu. “Umm–uhh–okay…” he takes a few heavy exhales of air. “My name though…” he says quietly, biting his lip.

Leppu smiles brightly, “it’ll be fine! It’s hard to forget something as important as that forever! But until then, I’ll call you…uh…” Leppu pauses for a moment, “ah, never mind that, I’ll tell you when I come up with one. But do you remember if your name starts with an a or a b or a zolpho or an exxon or a c…” He continues going through the alphabet, half the letters he lists being ones that don’t exist.

Suddenly, Barnaby’s face lights up. “Ah! Barnaby! Uh–Barnaby that’s my–uh–name!” he squeals, smiling like a total goof-ball. “A-And you’re–uh–name is?!”

“I am Leppu, lord of the Andromedon! Nice to meet you, formally, that is.” He grinned widely and wrung out his bandana, “damn river goddess, I’m gonna be drenched for the rest of the day…”

Barnaby raises an eyebrow. “Um–okay…” he looks at his feet.

“Guess you don’t talk much, huh? Kinda a wierd guy, but at least you don’t have superpowers like floaty here and river goddess.” Leppu says, pointing at Lawrence with the floaty comment.

Lawrence chuckles at the comment “you seemed fine with my powers when I got you across the that river.”

“Yep! They’re super cool…” Leppu puffs his cheeks indignantly, “Well, I have powers too, bu if I told you, your brain would explode from how cool it is, so its top secret! Thats why I seem like I dont, BUT I actually do!”

Barnaby looks at Lawrence and then Leppu. “I–uh–have powers.” he says quietly, hugging himself.

“Ehhhhh?!?” He grabs a handful of his hair, “You too?” Leppu sniffles, “So everyone I talked to today has superpowers…. I’m so alone…” He says with joking desperation.
