“I’m sorry that you were taken away from the things that matter in life, and I’m even more sorry that you’ll never know what it is that you are missing” she said, looking at him with pity.

“I’m not lying when I said he didn’t tell me where he was going. He knows the land well, but I’m sure he has no trouble going to the places he doesn’t know either. He’ll do anything to keep his people safe, even if that means risking his own life.”

Lilly sighed, “There was a man who sold him a map once though. He paid dearly for it, so it must have had some important information on it. He never showed anyone that map though, so I do not know what it contained.”

“And search all you like, I promise you he took everything that was important.”

*Isen smiles again.* Thank you, I have one last question, are there any friends of his who live nearby, any who may be of some help?

“His best friend’s name is Kane. He lives among the others in town.” she said sadly.

“I hope you know he won’t be that easy to catch. He may just be a human, but his drive to keep himself that way gives him more power than you’d know.”

She looks at both of them. “If you’ve accomplished what you’ve come for, then please leave. Your presence here is making me sick to my stomach.”

*Isen looks at her one last time and sighs* Before we leave I’m going to take a look at his things though. *He turns to look at Bell, neither grimacing nor smiling he speaks now with melancholy* Ava, you said I owed you. Here is my payment *he extends his arm outwards and launches two small ice spikes at the lady’s wheelchair destroying the wheels, he then manacles her down with ice shackles.*

Just be gentle. She’s frail and may not be able to survive it.

*he walks into the adjoining room, losing himself in his work, trying to forget what he’s just done and finding Demetrius*

Idiot. You know that this probably wont work. With a mental shrug she tells the woman. “This wont hurt. Very much. Ok that is a lie. This about to hurt alot. But if you stay calm it wont hurt for long.” With a quick stride she steps over to the woman and plunges her finger into her neck.

*Isen sees the collection of bracelets on the table, to him they are just junk but it was what the kid used to teleport away. He pockets the one that looks the best and starts investigating the others. They seem to have small fuel cells in them. Little things but Isen reckoned they could do enough damage in a fire. Urgh, fire. Even the word is enough to make him feel hate.

Yes, hate, not this self pity you feel now.*

Why not help Din thought he caught himself he almost lost it “sure why not” he put down his loot he found and created a moderate fire sphere enough to deal damage and threw it at the forest once it hit he picked up his loot walked off trying to find a shopting cart.

Ava kept her right index finger in the old woman’s throat while holding her down with her left hand. Slowly she uses her powers to freeze what little blood was left in the shriveled form of the old human. Not enough. If I do not add some of my own she could just die from blood loss, and everything would be for naught. Realizing this she bits the tip of her left index finger hesitantly allowing her cold blood to spill forth. Jabing her left index onto the other side she allows her blood to merge in the woman’s blood stream.

*In the corner of the room with the table is a small oven. Isen stares at it for a while, the muffled cries of help being all he can hear. Why does it make him feel so sad. Why is it that these silent sobs are so loud in his head.

    He can’t stand it.

He begins placing the teleportation bracelets in the stove.*

Done. Pulling away, Ava retracts her fingers from the woman’s neck. “How does it feel I wonder?” Delicately touching the woman she feels no change in temperature. “Good. She is cold. She will be a fine ice creature.” Picking up the limp body and slinging it over her shoulder she goes to find Isen.

Standing in the doorway she notices him standing over a hot stove. “What are you doing?!!” She shrieks at him.

*Isen looks at her with a cold detachment*

At this rate we’ll have 20 minutes.
    We need to run now.

*He moves past her and straight outside*

“OH here’s one” Din found a shopping cart successfully and put his loot in but still he sighed, doing this would mean the scenic route through the human town but as long as nothing happened on the way to the shed so then he walked making his way through the town

Turning Ava runs after him still carrying her load. Racing after Isen to put as much distance as they can from the house, she gets extreme pain in her head. Fuck. That conversion took to much out of me. I will need to take a nap soon… To Isen she asks. “Infant! How big did you say this little bomb of yours is going to be? I am going to need to stop for a little while as soon as we are at a safe distance away.”

*Isen stops far enough away he can still see the house. He stares backwards, the way they came, not turning to look at Ava.*

    Start digging.
