The Electric City

An old tale suggests that there was a city that had extraordinary people. These people lived with powers, not like the ability to fly or be invisible or anything like that. They had the ability to bend electricity to their will. Some people lived peacefully, others got in trouble with their ability. They could not control their powers, and as a cause of this, they destroyed everything in their path. They were put in a special building. This building helped them control their powers. After they were able to do that, they were put on the police force to help keep peace in this wonderfully built city.
There was one thing though, some children were born without powers. They were brought up by their parents just like other children. These kids were called The Unknown. But, one day a mysterious man appeared suddenly. He called himself Finn. He had an aura that was pretty much screaming that he was much more powerful than he looked. Much, much, more powerful than he looked.
(This is an adventure RP, where you can either be someone with powers or one without. Either way, we have to work together to survive. No god-moding, or else this RP won’t be all that fun)

Whilst trying to rip apart the mysterious man in front of her, Lyrika thought to herself,Maybe I should hunt down that freaky electric kid……Maybe I should apologize to those boys. “They were being mean for ignoring me, but did I overreact?”, Lyrika subconsciously asked the man. This remark seemed to have thrown off the man. He stopped dodgeing Lyrika’s attacks, for just enough time for Lyrika to electrically bash his head in. The man fell to the ground, and just as Lyrika approached him, he got up and ran. “For the love of all that is good!”, she exclaimed. “Why do they always run?”, she said following behind the mysterious man.
-
“Huh.” Either this girl is crazy or not a hapless victim. Still. It seemed needed more help then she did. Jason figured he’d better follow and stop from potentially bashing the man’s skulled in into his brain. Hell, if the guy deserved Jason will watch.
If things get ugly and he perhaps luring her into a trap, Jason will be there. Either way. Jason was running along the rooftops following this weird chick.
-
“Cool, now you might feel a tingle at first.” Zane placed both hands on the back of Colt’s back and released a burst of electricity. ” There, you should be all charged up. Remember don’t use your powers too frequently while charged or it will wear off faster. Good luck with catching the kid. I’m going to figure out why that girl yelled at us. When your done meet me back here. I just need some questions answered.” With that Zane supercharged himself and headed towards the mystery girl.

Cookies, cookies, cookies! John softly sang to himself as he skipped out of the alley way to merge with the pedestrians on the crowded streets. Beary in one hand and the wad of money in the other, he followed the crowds, moving with the flow. Hurrying along with the traffic he was able to increase the size of his money wad by picking the pockets of random strangers.
Finally reaching his location, the new sweet shop and Bakery, he paused for a moment to catch his breath and count how much money he now had on him.
One, two, seven, forty-nine, three, One hundred! Or at least he thought it was a hundred dollars…John wasn’t too bright with math.
With a shrug he pushed open the door which jangled and walked inside smelling the fresh scented air.“How many cookies can I get with this?” He asked the nice looking lady behind the counter.
She barely glanced up, before going back to filling her nails. “Cookies are two for a dollar,” she intoned dully.
“Ok! So how many can I get with this much money?” John asked her excitedly. He had never actually bought cookies before.
She looked up tiredly. “Put it in that machine over there. It counts it for you. Then if you bring me the receipt I can exchange it for cookies.”
“Umm, thanks?”John rushed over to the counting machine. It looked rather boring, much like the shopkeeper, but all dusty.
“Please insert the amount you wish to buy.” The machine said in a monotone voice.
John stuffed all the money he had “collected” into the mouth of the counting machine.
The machine accepted the money and then proceeded to make a whirring noise as it processed it. Spitting out a receipt with
500 COOKIES
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
PLEASE COME AGAIN
printed on it.Taking the receipt to the bored counter lady, she looked up in surprise.
“Five hundred cookies?! I don’t think we have that many right now…”
John glares at her. “Now see here Missy! I paid for my cookies! And I want them now!”“Uhhh.” The now flustered shopkeeper hurried to collect as many as she could. “I am really sorry /Sir/ but we only have 300 in stock at he moment. Could you possibly come back at a later time to collect the other 200?”
John sighed. Of all the rotten luck. Well anymore that that probably wouldn’t fit in my pack anyway. Soooo I guess… “Alright. I’ll just take what you have now.”
The store owner quickly helped John to pack up his bag with the 300 cookies and gave him a certificate so John could clam the others at a later time.
Contentedly chewing on a fresh cookie John stepped out side and went to sit on a bench in front of the shop to eat his cookies with Beary.((Phew. Done! Sorry again Max that its so late ;P))

Racing to where he believed he saw the boy last, he didn’t look back for a second. He sped down a street and took a left, finally stopping when he saw a glint of blue head down a little ally way. Heading that way, he saw the boy from earlier. Finally caught up with him, it really didn’t take long at all! Zane would come in handy when I try to get Finn out of the city. Getting off track, he thought about how he could get him out. if Zane could increase my speed like this when I, no if I fight him. I could totally win! My fighting skills aren’t that good, but hey, I can throw a punch nicely. Snapping out of his thoughts, he couldn’t see the one he was trailing anywhere. Darn it! I lost him, I really should have gotten him when I had the chance! He thought angrily to himself.
Dashing from the ally, he saw shops everywhere, he hadn’t seen this place before. Probably because, he never went past from the downtown area. This was way farther, maybe he should go here more often. Looking at the shops, he could see a bakery, a coffee shop, a restaurant, and even a shop that solely sells cookies!
Thinking back to the boy, Now if I was him, where would I go to steal something?
His eyes snapped to the bakery, as he walked to it. Looking through the windows, his eyes watched all the people who went in, went out, and the ones that were still in the small shop. But to no avail, the boy wasn’t there. His second option was the cookie mart. Looking over there, he could see no-one in there. Sighing, I knew he came this way, where could this boy have gone!
Roaming his eyes all around the plaza, he saw every speckle of detail. There was a fountain in the middle, with shops lining the streets, five on each side. People walked slowly, enjoying their day. A few benches were here and there. And on one of them a boy sat eating a cookie, bear in hand. Colt’s eyes lit up as he saw the boy there. Walking up to him, well more like speed walking, he cleared his throat. “It seems I’ve finally caught up with you.” -
Ariel smile softly at the boy in front of her who had amazingly , had enough to get 500 cookies , and take the store out of stock. When she had went up afterwards in hopes there was at least 1 cookie left , there wasn’t. She frowned. “Well that’s okay , I mean what kind of cookie store , runs out of Cookies? It’s the only thing your selling.” She grumbled before exiting the shop in a rather upset mood , she then went to the bakery across the street to indulge her sweet tooth in there. She got herself a pack of chocolate chip and M&M cookies and a box of key-lime pie. Carrying her things in a purple leather bag that the store sold for 10 dollars that read ” Queen Of Sweets! with few cupcakes , cookies , pies and other things decorated on the bag , she had put her items inside and carried it out of the store before walking down the busy sidewalks towards the direction of her lonesome apartment.

John looked up from his peaceful bliss of cookies in surprise. “Ummm…” John was confused. “Is there something I can help you with Sir?”
Who is this guy? What does he mean? Caugh– Oh. John nearly choked on his cookie. “Uhh…yeah…sorry…”
He wasn’t really sure why the man followed him…but…
“Cookie?” John offered the man giving him his cutest smile. -
Forgetting the reason for the chase again Felix kept on following John jumping off the building into the mattresses. he dozed off for a bit but when he came to he forgot what he was doing and thought about buying a snack. He saw some people he remembered from something but as he couldn’t remember he just kept walking hmmmmmmmm what do I want, what would I get all I can remember is cookies oh wait cookies duh. Reassured, Felix walked over to the cookie shop he had no idea how he got there but he knew he was there, he saw a boy with
“WHAAAAAAAAAAAAATT,” Felix shouted at the clerk, “how could you be out of cookies it’s the only thing sold here,” the clerk responded, “well some rich kid came in and bought them all,” furious at first he formed an cumulus congestus but he calmed down soon enough. Felix needed a plan so he started thinking,
Felix: Brain any ideas
Brain: well so far i’ve come up with
Taking hostages
Bloody vengeance
Violent rage
Felix:…Brain…
Brain: Yes
Felix: all of those… are illegal
Brain: oh right… yeeeaaah well just get a job here
Felix: GREAT IDEA that’s why I never doubt you.
Coming from his thought trance he walked back up to the lady, “I would like a job, are there any openings?” He asked remembering and trying to forget his previous jobs, he was fired for reasons which would make him seem like a serial arsonist but he had faith… sorta((Pardon my idleness Max))

Lyrika was running in heels, and she was getting quite annoyed. This random man, was running, running, in his stupid running shoes. To catch up with him, Lyrika had to ditch her stylish pumps, and run in her beige stockings. This is getting annoying, she thought to herself.
After 28 minutes of strait running, the man finally turned into a dead end, Lyrika had caught up, and she was glad.

Colt glared at the kid, “I don’t want a stink’n cookie! First, I go and save you from Finn, and the next thing I know you attack me! What’s your problem!” okay, I should calm down. I can’t focus, when i’m like this. taking a deep breath, he let it out. “I had asked what your name was before, and I’m asking again. What’s your name, kid?” He was getting annoyed, seriously annoyed.

Jason looked at the woman and the man from up on a rooftop above them as she had the man cornered. He took out his coil rifle and hopefully he wouldn’t have to do much more then a warning shot if things got a little TOO ugly. It charged in his hands as he aimed a scope on it to get a better view on what was happening between Lyrika and this man as he quietly listened and sat on one knee. Like a sniper as his rifle charged.
