In some places, there was screaming, and the noise surgical. Others had a more humane silence and blood. Some the sounds of beasts and things not of this earth. A controlled explosion happened in another area. Yet everything was seemingly so controlled that not always did other sectors interfere with eachother. Though not always….

(This is the roleplay room. Just go ahead and set an arc to introduce your character and some…stuff can happen to start. This might get split into many areas.)(I am open to suggestions)

No one sees how they got in. They are usually simply placed in a black room of some kind or somewhere with no windows. All senses that give information to the outside are blocked. They see nothing outside of the room or vehicle they are in. Particularly jets

Most everyone walks down a blank white hall. If they look back they will see the exit sign.

    The white hall

Many people try to find this hall again, but they go back to only find the hall is gone, as if it were never there.

Outside of Sectors and large areas are many….many hallways. The place is like a maze. All staff can navigate pretty well. Every staff member is given a phone that has a very easy to read map with arrows. Or they simply have their old phone upgraded to have it. Experiments who escape may get lost in the labs hallways. Some areas are bustling, and busy. Others are for some reason completely devoid of anything. Certain sectors including “lost”, “off limits” and “not recoverable” sectors are places staff are told not to go.

    Hallway one

    Lab hallway

    hospital

    abandoned area

The staff living quarters is a series of large neighborhoods, to even self contained cities. Most looking luxurious.

    Staff residential area one

    Living area one

    Yup city

Though not apparent, the city is domed. You are told this. Light is simulated, but feels the exact same way pretty much to people and the sky looks just like the sun. People often forget they are in a dome. Outside the dome are fields mostly and a few farms

    Staff residential area 2

    Underground city

    Highest population

You have to work of course. And everyone does. However you order food to your home. The food is healthy and well made usually. Though no one knows where everything comes from.

Total population between both areas is 5 million. People are often surprised to find out how inhabited and large these areas are. 25 Square miles for Staff residential area 1. And 40 square miles for staff residential area 2…

No Subjects are “allowed” in staff areas. There are security measures in both cities and at the entrances to both cities. As well as security measures for those who enter the halls. These are deterrents. Subjects do not always know about them, but some subjects do have abilities to inform them of the security measures.

    (More to be added…)

Alexia is in the battle field again, the incursions into her lands where getting more constant since her father and their Lord lost their life at the war. Behind her was the village militia along with the other samurai assigned to serve under her in the protection of the city

She was mounted in her horse galloping in front of the her army with two loyal retainers at her side and white flag, the enemy was quickly to do the same

“Miss Hidekari, what a pleasure to see you still alive, shame that i can’t say the same about your father and brothers…” she noticed the word “shame” and responded quickly “There is no shame in dying in battle Mr. Highfire” she knew the man, he was a minor lord from another kingdom they were currently at war “what brings you to this land My Lord? you came for your fine share of plundering or it’s tittle?” the man snorted “maybe both? i came to see if your family is all that they claim to be, after your father and all their sons being utterly defeated in battle i couldn’t lose my time to have my fun with their daughter could i? if i waited too much you would simply disappear from our society like the rest of your family!” the man laugh and so did his retainers, Alexia expression however was cold as ice

“if you have so much of a desire to teste my skill in battle than we could have a duel right here, there would be no need in involving our armies into this” the man responded with a wave of hands “this wouldn’t be fun at all, but there will be plenty of opportunities for you to show your skill on the battlefield young princess, fare thee well” he said while turning his back and returning to his army “fare thee well My Lord, hope to see you soon on the battlefield” she also said returning to her position

A sort of presence watches over her. Some of them human. Commencing combat evaluation of “S-127…” A man says behind a computer, from behind another man. Data goes along the screen as the simulation runs.

There is something….among Hidekari’s men. It watches from the sky as it is in in the form of what looks to be a cloud. Waiting for the battle to take place. So that it may take it’s role and perhaps change the face of this woman’s life forever.

Blues was running on the roof tops jumping to the next. His long yellow scarf blew behind him as he jumps to the streets below. There he saw giant robots that corner a group of teens. He jumps between them and blasted the robots away from them then gave them a smirk, “Fear not for your hero has saved you.” The teens cheered on for him as he when back running around the city fighting the evil robots. The citizen cheered for him as he race back to his base. “A other job well done for I am the hero of Monsteroplis, Blues!” He smiled and went to a work bench and opened a panel in his arm. He was fixing the wiring so his arm wouldn’t acted up. After which he went up to his pet cat, Kiki, to pet her. He hum a soft melody as he waited for the next battle.

(Non autohit NPC. Cannot be autohit)

“Release one Dakorrak Tyrant BOW. ”

In Monsteropolis there was screaming heard as people began to run and panicked. A tall (7 ft 5) black humanoid thing with tentacles on it’s left arm and what almost seemed like a cannon made of flesh on the side. It’s face had 6 eyes and it had no nose or ears. It’s eyes were red and beady. Like an insects, rather then a human’s. It had giant sacs on it’s arms. It saw a giant robot and aimed at it. It shot a high pressure acid jet stream at the robot that punched into it. The acid ignite and both dissolved and burned in. It saw three more and raised it’s other tentacled mass of an arm and they stretched forward and punched through the robot. It retracts the arm as the robots falls over. One robot that is even bigger then it is rushes at it to punch it. It’s fist hits the creatures face. The creature slumps back as it’s face sticks to it’s hand.

The creature then puts all of it’s tentacles into the robot, and tears it apart. It turned and walked out into another street and into a crowd of people who backed away out of fear. It’s tentacles stretched and grabbed 7 people. Every person squirmed, as their eyes glazed over. As soon as they stopped moving, they were dropped. Black veins spread throughout their body. They got up limped and their eyes turned blank and weight, their skin got paler. They then all shrieked into the air, now monster and ran about in different directions running after people. 3 ran behind the creature into alleys. The other 4 ran out in front of it into a crowd. Growing stronger and stronger. Mutating rapidly. Most people managed to escape and outrun them. However an infected woman jumped on a person trying to maul him and the man fought back for his life as no blow seemed to deter the woman.

The Tall black thing walked slowly so as to conserve energy.

There was a “man” on a skyscraper, who stood with his arms crossed. It’s eyes completely black. It watches the entire thing happen before it’s very eyes. It wasn’t noticed by many people. He squatted down to see. It was like the cliffhanger to a show. Would the hero save his city…?

(Right now, non of the other infected are regular NPCs.)

    System online. Data gathering active.

Heavy eyelids opened, scanning the area nearby. Blue skies. Tall buildings. People nearby.

“What- who turned it on? Idiot! Keep it off until it’s out of the city! It’s not supposed to know about this place!”

Abruptly visual feed was cut. Processors off. X-0 went back into sleep mode.

    System online. Data gathering active.

Heavy eyelids opened, scanning the area nearby. Metallic walls. A single door. No further observations.

    Imperative: ===> Explore.

X-0 stands up and steps out the door. Current form: Diagnostics show good system health. No damages. 6’2″, brown hair/eyes, muscular. Male.

Outside the door is a hallway. A map appears in a navigation program. Two locations were currently highlighted as ‘accessible’. A cityscape and wide biodome.

Memory of the cityscape that had only been visible for a few moments resonates in the processing system. Possible match. More information necessary.

X-0 walks down a hallway, toward the entrance to monster city.

X-0 enters the hallway and on through a sliding door. It is completely dark. “I didn’t get anything about an X-0 unit being in here wait until-” The door in front of X-0 opens, and it is free to walk inside, as it enters from actually within the city. As soon as it walks out, the door behind it is actually gone…

Sensors indicate that a door was there.

Sensors now indicate that a door is not there.

Door did not move or change. Door simply does not exist.

Judgement: Sensor glitch. Door never existed.

Paradox: Current form entered through door. Door must exist.

Judgement: Logical analysis beyond current understanding. More data required.

X-0 continued onwards, analyzing the city as it went. Architecture differed. Materials are cheaper, not as efficient, and lacked luster. Also, various machines and biological lifeforms roamed the streets. This was not the peaceful city observed earlier. This city was under attack.

“Fear not for your hero has saved you.”

Hero? ‘A person, typically a man, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities.’ Observed man indeed had courage (‘the ability to do something that frightens one’) and his achievements seemed outstanding. Analysis complete. Hero is an admirable quality. Courage is necessary. This personality trait will be emulated as best possible. Currently nothing was frightening, but things that typically scare humans will be faced and overcome.

Other analyses: acid is corrosive to metal and should be avoided. Robots and viruses pose little threat.

Stepping onto the streets, X-0 raised his fists and ran after the big tentacled monster, searching it for weaknesses.

From the sky Blues was falling to the alley between the monsters. He stared at them then quickly opened fire killing the black vain humans. Blues dashed out of the alley and sees the black monster. He pointed his gun at it, “Halt villain!” Blues pointed his gun at his head waiting to see what happens.

After a brief course under the tatics and the a couple of arrow volleys fired from both sides the armies clashed on the battlefield

After cutting off a man’s arm, another man’s leg and opening the belly of a armored woman Alexia found herself far advanced into the enemy lines, she does not hesitate and instead of retreating she picked her Scythe and Chain and started spinning it above her head, hitting the people who were at range or the warriors who tried to face her

Moments later there was a hole on the enemy side, Alexia was surrounded by at least 15 men all respecting the range of the Scythe and Chain above her head, a range delimited by the at least ten bodies dead or agonizing on the floor around her.

Alexia could hear the sound of battle getting closer and even see some of the enemies fleeing from the battle line, the men surrounding her however where getting too relaxed throwing vain insults at her she responded with a shout “I AM THE DEATH SCYTHE OF THE HIDEKARI, THOSE WHO WISH MY LAND ANY ILL ARE WELCOME TO PRESS FORWARD AND TASTE MY BLADE!” a couple of women threw their weapons at the ground close to Alexia’s feet in respect and leaved the battlefield, the few who charged at her were decimated by the Vibroscythe, most of the people however only increased the range between them and the chain and scythe. Meanwhile, the Hidekari’s army was pressing foward

The creatures hears something behind it charging at it. It looks at it. No pulse. No heartbeat. Not human. Should be destroyed. Tendrils shoot out of it’s back and one grabs a car, and flings it at the humanoid being as if it were a rock, rather then a 2800 lb hunk of metal at it.

The creature has sacs that contain it’s acid along it’s arm.

The creature looked to it’s side at gunfire, with some of it’s infected dead, and a man he just saved running away. Another. No pulse. No heart beat. Not human. Cannot infect. Destroy.

It shoots a mash of tendrils at the humanoid machine with the firearm. Stretching to smash it into into the wall to try and pierce it.

In Prototerra-55 Biodome dust flew up and suddenly men were flying several feet into the air. There sound of maniacal laughter rang through the area.

Suddenly there was the sound of a motor as something stopped in front of a the woman about 30 feet away. It was a man, in a biker outfit, wearing a clown mask, with red clown hair. He was sitting on a sort of demonic, horse designed hover bike. It stayed about 2 6 inches above the ground. “What was that?” He spoke in warped, twisted, a voice as people ran a woman gets up that threw her weapons up and is swiftly decapitated simply out of the desire to spite the boastful woman. “Too proud. Too cocky….too…ARROGANT!!”

    And so it begins…

He cackles maniacally. “I guess I’ll just step right up. Hehahaheehahaheah!!” He grabs a Katana and a purple aura flows around it. The katana morphs and changes. It becomes stronger and changes to have an ornate dragon mouthed hilt. The blade goes from grey, to black as the purple aura ebs around it. “Alright toots!”

He gets off the bike and it drives away on it’s own, a jet of purple flame behind as it leaves.

“Let’s dance!” He points the Katana at the woman. Then 20 feet in the air and 30 feet in distance towards the woman over dramatically as he yells and brings the sword down to slash on her as he descends.

The car connected, and X-0 exploded into a cloud of dust. The cloud abruptly reformed into the same humanoid figure.

Analysis: projectiles cause damage to most entities. Hero is using projectiles to damage those attacking the innocent. Emulate hero’s behavior.

Projectiles can be formed from robotic cells by arranging in shape of a sharpened cylinder. Projectiles can be accelerated to damaging speeds by electromagnetic repulsion.

    Process name enter?

X-0 paused. This feat of creativity was an usual request. Browsing possible names, two stuck out. The name of the hero, Blues. The name of the general attacking weapon- a cannon.

    Process name: Blues Cannon.

All this happened even as X-0 was reforming. When he did form, his right arm with a cannon, just like blues- though a bit larger. Larger projectile should have more momentum and do greater damage.

A moment afterwards, the cannon fired off several rounds. Huge rounds arced towards the main torso of the creature. Though the sacs on the arms looked weak, they didn’t seem vulnerable. Destroying them was unlikely to hurt the creature in a meaningful way.

Blues jumped in the air avoiding the projectiles from the monster. He landed on its head and took aim at it, “VILE MONSTER!!” Blues arm began to glow blue. “BUSTER BLAST!” He shot a big beam at it then he fell back hitting the other machine that was watching. Blues struggle to stand as he watch the smoke clear, “Did i get it.?”

The creature was pierced by the shots to the chest, however they didn’t seem to do very much. THe holes in it’s chest reformed quite soon after, though it did slow it down. The bullets actually dissolved inside of the creature. Then something jumped on it’s shoulders, and it shot at the creature’s head. The creature looks up and it’s entire head gets blown off by a beam.

The thing falls on one knee with a heavy thud, and it’s head begins to reform. Though slowly, and it cannot operate without a head. Blue beam accidentally hit one of the sacs, igniting it briefly as the creature catches fire, on it’s shoulder and does not seem to heal from that. There are blood curdling screams heard throughout the city. About 40 or so infected ran at them. They managed to at leas draw them all into one place. Though 3 had mutated in short time due to having escaped earlier. And 4th in the crowd would mutate soon. A larger glowing man.

    (Mutants cannot be autohit)

2 mutants lunged blue due to him looking pretty vulnerable right now, they were running faster then the others and were more powerful. Running at blue at around 45 mph, as fast as some cars.

20 or so infected lunged the swarm boy, smacking him mindlessly to delay him from harming the creatures. One mutant was intelligent enough to use it’s enhanced strength to rip off a card door and use it as a makeshift weapon to smack the nanoswarm machine with. Another 10 infected were catching up…

(Its hard. But not unbeatable. Use ya noggins)

“Your attack made contact and dealt damage.” X-0 replied to the apparent question. The swarm had stood firm this time upon being hit by the other bot, allowing him to bounce off and land in front of X-0. “However, damage appears to be healing. Damage done to loose skin on appendages is minor but not healing. Analysis: previously thought to be inconsequential points are in fact particularly vulnerable.” Though the nanobot collective spoke with the casual tone and inflection of a man, the vocabulary and manner of speaking were quite unusual.

Other problems presented themselves. Nanobot bullets disintegrated inside the creature’s body. This was not a renewable option. Two alternatives presented themselves: nanogenesis, to restore lost cells as they were used, or using other objects as projectiles. The first idea was filed for later analysis. The second was applied immediately.

Or it would be, if the process was not interrupted by a swarm of a couple dozen people. “Relocation necessary for shot preparation. Dissolving.”

As a car door flew through the space where X-0 had been only seconds ago, the collective reformed on the other side of the tentacled beast. Placing a hand on a nearby car, small nanobot blades cut the metal into new cannon rounds and sent them through the body to the other arm, which was still a cannon.

Primary target was now the sacs on the beast’s arm. Secondary targets were any infected humans that got too close. Normally flesh packets on a moving appendage would be near impossible to hit, but with computer prediction systems and near-perfect aim, it was much easier to hit.

The downside of using other metals for the Blues Cannon was that it took time to form rounds. Even with nanobots cutting and molding the metal almost instantly, it took about 2 seconds per round- much slower than the railgun-like burst speeds possible with nanobullets. If not for the acid blood, however, nanobullets seemed viable for other creatures. They could easily be retrieved after firing by dissolving them and rejoining them with the body.

Anytime too many infected closed in, X-0 relocated to a new location with a metal source. A rooftop with an air conditioning system. Other street spots next to cars. Inside buildings and taking from metal bedframes and machinery. This continued until some new element presented itself to disturb this pattern, or the creature was incapacitated.
