Bonnie frowned, remembering the name, ‘Vinny’. She turned and looked over at him, “Oh, yes.” She sighed. “You were that boy from my school.” She poured the hot water into cups, hearing the door once more she ignored it not daring to leave a boy unknown alone in the Zimbalti house.
Mary came down the stairs, hair piled on her head as she came to the door in a robe. Slamming it open she shouted before seeing who it was, “Who is at my doorstep at this hour!”
-
Viollette nodded respectfully. “Miss Zimbaliti.” She raised the folder to show her. “This might be of some use to you.”

-
Mary raised a brow. “Oh? And what is this, might I ask?” She said, taking the forward. “Do come in,” She stepped aside, flipping the folder open.
“That would be my mother welcoming the guests. Yes, I’ve always remembered a face. What brings you here, Vinny?” She asked setting down a cup of tea before him.

-
Viollette stepped inside and shrugged. “Plans to ruin your family name. There’s a profile in there- someone in this town who’s already said things, awful things, to my family.”
-
“Oh?” She looked over the profile, reading what was in store for her family. “Useful information…But how can I know this is true, Miss. G? Do not forget your last name, the blood in your veins.”
Bonnie sat down across from him, taking a long sip from her tea cup. “So, you would like a position in the mafia? What is your last name? How can I know the people from your last gang are not trying to gain power by killing mine?”
-
She gave her a cold look. “I could say the same to you. I’m trying to save your name, your family, and your city. I could have easily left this file alone and let it ruin you.” She pointed to the file in Mary’s hand. “I’m already trained. You won’t need to waste any time. I have more than easy access to Gistillee information that I’m willing to give you.”
-
Mary sighed. What else could she say? “Fine then, Miss. Viollette. You are welcomed in our home. And will be treated like evry other member of our family until further proven that you are working against us.”
-
Viollette smiled. She actually won. “Thank you, Miss.” She pulled out another paper from her coat. “Here is more information. Have any member of your family tell me what they need from the Gistillees and I will try my best to obtain them.”
-
“Very well, I will.” She sighed, feeling like she was making a grave mistake. Oh well, if all went a wry then she’d have Bonnie clean up the mess. She took the papers. “I suppose you’ll be running back pleased to tell your family that you’ve wormed your way into our gang?” She said smiling, as a tease.
-
“Ah, you already know me so well, Miss. I’ll be back again later, expect me.” She walked out the door and into the street where she would go to the local coffee shop.
-
“Yes, farewell my darling.” She called after the girl but her face were like snake eyes. Going up the staircase she entered her husband’s room as they slept separately. “Get up.” She said coldly, “Its nearly 2 AM and it seems no one will be leaving me alone for the night. Get up and decipher this.” She threw the packet of papers at him before leaving the room, her blood boiling at just the look of him. If she could divorce the horrible excuse for a husband, she long ago would have.

Zane finishes talking at the diner, he says goodbye and leaves, he then drives back home to see if he could get some sleep

“So…may I stay for a while?” He asked timidly.
