She couldn’t get anything on him. Maybe he hadn’t done it…? She began to second guess herself and waver. Her eyes showed the conflict within. Not enough evidence. Enough proof. “Indeed, very cool.” The word was completely foreign in her lips.  She looked down sipping her coffee more.

“I’ll take your silence as a maybe. But I will be back, Miss Zimbalti.” She exited the room and walked into the hall. She took a minute to compose herself. “So close,” she thought to herself.

Garmoniya looked out the window as he sipped his coffee “So, what was that about a ‘fine day like this’ statement you said earlier?” He asked almost sarcastically as rain poured against the window.

“…The rain is refreshing, no?” She asks, looking out the window as well but appears to be still mulling over the conversation. “Are you? New here, I mean.” She asks very delicately. So much so it almost seems too nice.

“Yes, it is.” He said as he turned away from the window “And yes I am new. Like I said, I’ll be it indirectly, am a gypsy.”

“Fine then, Miss. Take your leave when you can, Miss. Viollette!” She snapped, crossing her arms. “Who is that man screaming down the halls? Surely he is no servant of mine!” Her voice bellowed through the house.

“How disappointing. How well does a gpsy pay?” She asked, crossing her legs and putting her elbows on the table to place her chin on her fists.

“Not much. Technically I am a freelancer. In term I take contracts and depending on the target, I execute them. Terminate them, if you will.” He said leaning back.

Viollette looked behind her and spoke to the man. “You might want to watch who you’re talking to. That’ll be your boss if they let you in.”

The woman came from the room, narrowing her brown eyes at the boy. “Who are you?” She asked with a snake’s tongue, clearly her generosity run out. “I do not remember letting a spainish man in my house.”

Her eyes brightened. “Is that so? Freelancer. Interesting.” Proof. Her mind thought to itself, just what I needed. “Do you have any equipment on you now other than my gun and knife?”

“Not for you to know missy.” Garmoniya answered.

“Now that’s unfair. You know the weapons I had.” She pointed out, not really caring who heard them about their deep conversation of weapons and assassination. The people of Jacksonville easily ignored such incidents

“Aye. But that was your fault. Not properly concealing ones weapon can be used against them.” Garmoniya said as he tapped the side of his head.
