Somewhere far away(or very close) A blond man in a black suit from the 1950’s sits in his chair viewing multiple screens with our heroes on them they seemed to be recorded by secret cameras, after a while of this a man in a black suit walks up to him, he hands the first one a file, and leaves. The one in the room reads the files fairly quickly he laughs and presses & holds a red button as he leans into a microphone and says, “all units escort subjects 1 and 3 through 8 to the target area, but do it politely and peacefully we don’t a repeat last time,” after such gets out of his chair and grabs a oversized sword, then knowing it be unnecessary puts it back. he suits up putting on clothes more fitting to the current era and sets off.
He runs quickly down the street avoiding attention until he sees his target subject 2 A.K.A. Kronie his plan simple greet and talk he needed an ally not an enemy so he walked towards… and then turned and walked back, but he walked towards again… only to walk back again this went on for a while which made him look like he was pacing uncomfortably.
1. Target one was easy to find the main event of a circus in town. The plan was simple too watch the the show and stay after to meet the hottest man or machine in the world so that’s what agent 1 did.
4. Agent 3 had the difficult one The High Shadow Lord but it seemed like he was chosen for the task on purpose for his drow darkvision may assist him + a little magic he just had to… find him… in an alley… one of them… yeah it was still difficult.
6. Agent 5 saw a young girl (Mirabelle) walking towards the circus and assumed eh maybe so he walked towards her but stepped on a skateboard causing him to accidentally ride right past her and fall on his face.
8.After hearing the BOOM agent % rushed to the scene just to find his target Geminorum and being the respectable noble he was he went and bowed before her unaware of how awkward it seemed.
-
Mirabelle stopped and looked at the man as he rolled by on the side walk on a skateboard and faceplant some distance away. Mirabelle then runs over to him and stops as she rolls him over onto his back. “Oh my gosh Mister, are you ok?!!” She examined this man with her large bright eyes, worried about his well being. Her new friend staying hidden.
-
(That was so cute!)
She waited patiently for him to write down the location of the circus, looking at his hand move behind the paper. “Thank you, man of flames, am I right?” She looked back at the circus poster saying something of the sort and looked forward to seeing him perform there. She got the paper from him and folded it, placing it in her jacket pocket. She liked fire play, it was like the firebending on shows like Avatar The Last Airbender, or magic characters like Natsu from Fairy Tail… who ate fire. She wondered what he would be doing and how he did it. Her eyes brightened when she saw him playing with it again, and her grin couldn’t become bigger when he made a pink cat out of flames. She didn’t know what to say. She was completely dumbfounded. “I look furward to it, thank you furry much.” She bowed her head and waved a hand before turning and walking back. “I should have taken a picture.” She thought afterwards. “Oh well, plenty of time fur that later.” She went back to eating her pastries. “I also should’ve offered him some.” She laughed to herself. Kronie saw a man pacing back and forth from the corner of her eye, and it caught her attention for a second… before she turned back to walking and thought nothing more of it. -
Bobby walked around for a bit then around 5 o’clock he started heading to the circus tent. He rubbed the back of his neck and smiled. After reaching the tent he went to the dressing room to get in outfit then grabbed tonight’s schedule. “Ringmaster, the clowns, the ball of death, sword eater, the bearded woman, the man who juggles weights, the freak show, the animals, the rainbow team, side acts, more clowns, the ringmaster with his monkey, then me,” he said as he smiled then sat on his chair. He laid back and stared at the clock, “30 more minutes before showtime.” It was 6:00 pm.

The sun was falling and the moon rising, and with each drop of fading sunlight to make way for moonlight Nichts can already feel his power strengthen; the shadows stretching, becoming deeper and more vast. He skimmed the Boundaries once more, his shadow walking allowing him to cross far in the physical distance in a short time. He dipped around the urban area, creating a mental map, examining the inhabitants- anything to keep him and his mind on the move. It was curious how there was much more to this dimension than meets the eye, as he can now inspect the energies more finely. There are quite the number of mortals that may seem to designate as “human” may not actually be simple and literally down-to-earth. No, there were complex, intricate categories and classifications to them that may have to be sorted out and organized over a long duration, something he himself is not too inclined on doing.
Another oddity that the Lord recognized was one particular human that was almost too keen to examine the dark to be considered remotely near the norm, thoroughly going into alleyways and keeping a sharp, constant eye in the shadows. Outwardly it was either a deliberate search or a severe case of paranoia, but he knew better. Much better. He could sense psychological activity, and his actions was anything but connected to fear, unless that link was for the item- or target- that this man was searching for.
He chuckled to himself. A shame that that target was most definitely implied to be the him; he can identify pursuits like this all too well considering how such searches are conducted by humans where he’s from. So much so that the likeliness and situation was almost an amusement to the Phantom.
So while he would like to observe his two targets more as they had become or will become more active, investigate this much too curious mortal, or go out on a nice hunt for his nourishment, he had… a more important matter to attend to now. A pursuit of his own that he knows that he is having the same treatment. How so? Ever since his- and her- sensory perception became live and active, her presence was like a bright beacon to him as his was likely a shady enigma to her.
=====
A swift, elegant pace was kept as the cool breeze brushed upon the feminine figure, slipping past the pathways of pedestrians as if she were in dance. While she was not from this area- and that would be a clear understatement, she didn’t quite look so out of place as one may expect from her. While she kept some of her usual attire such as her stockings, boots, and hair style, she wore a simple white tee with a silky, partially transparent long sleeve that was a beautiful gradient of aqua green- similarly to how her down feathers are commonly depicted as. She still possessed some of her special charms, but they seemed like cosmetic accessories to outsiders. She had effectively blended in, and while those in the know may get a hint, there was only one living being in this dimension that should know of her regardless of any sort of diversion she may hold.
Just as he can never quite escape from her for the exact same line of reason.
The Curator was in pursuit, but she didn’t quite have to partake in some wild chase of hide and seek- even though that was usually the case, she just had to connect the dots and follow path it leads. She too made no effort to cast away her presence, as both of them knew they were looking for each other with no inclination for confrontation. A rendezvous with no preemptive hostility- and gods it has been so long since they last encountered peacefully, without blades drawn in the moment of contact.
With the coming night her powers were also growing, her vision sharpening and perception heightening. She was about to round the corner when she noted a particularly… curious man out and about as if he were trying- and failing- to find some ghost. Her head tilted ever so slightly as their paths were about to cross, and with quick footwork she believably acted out as if she were about to stumble, doubling and tipping over in her boots. She spun toward the human, touching his temple and chest with the softest of touches for the briefest of moments, making it out to seem as if his posture helped kept her balance when it was really to get a more in depth read on the man. As they passed she bowed her head and waved slightly in apology before skipping out ahead in fake embarrassment.
She almost giggled when she confirmed their intended targets were, in fact, the very same and very real ghost, but for very different intentions.
It was some blocks more, a tad windy in matters of direction and location as if she were approaching the slums, but it was nothing to be surprised about if this was his decision. Her discovery had to be discussed with even though further investigation would be most peculiar and interesting; but that however had to be put aside. Just ahead were the slightest but the most particular of distortions, twists in the shadows that were an immediate signal to and only to the Curator. She phased into this distortion and turned into the alleyway, and with a snap of her finger anyone else that would stumble upon this alleyway would be met with normalcy and emptiness.
For indeed she had just stepped into the boundaries between the Dream Realm and the Overworld. To be fair she was still in the alleyway, sure, but in a parallel plane; a property when residing in the boarder between two. The surrounding area was a surreal mix of violets, blues, and reds, light and dark segments equally scattered about. The Curator’s attire shifted to her usual and her form was now glowing and radiant with color. In a fair distance in front of her, there was a dark swelling before a black figure with a red crest and billowing white hair.
The twin lunar siblings hovered in place as carmine eyes locked onto azure, the latter gazed on with a detached demeanor as the former merely smiled, genuinely smiled.
“Nitida,” the Phantom called out coolly. “Nichts,” the Seraph responded in turn. -
Tas awoke outside the tent of the circus. That time already? she thought, yawning and stretching. She was not here to perform in the circus, but rather to wreak havoc within it. Such a shame it had to be done with so many people watching, and getting in the way. She shrugged and integrated herself into the crowd, shooing the lingering shadows that wrapped around her legs as it grew darker outside away.
She did not know who her employer was, or why she had been paid so much(10,000) to ruin some circus, but it was a job and she needed all the money she could get. She sat down inside of the big top, waiting for the show to start. She already had everything she needed to ruin this circus without harming anyone. Well, not much anyways. She smiled slightly and closed her eyes.
-
Don Patch was exploring a new world. He looked exactly like an orange Sanic, with little spikes all over the back of his head. He used to be a star, but then his TV show ended and he went adventuring with his money. It wasn’t much, but he invested it in some terrible stocks and they skyrocketed immediately. He noticed some sort of tent, wondered what was inside, and went over. This might be awesome. Or it might not. Either way, I get to see a tent, he thought.

What in the name of all fucks?, Geminorum thought as some weird guy bowed in front of her. Without saying a word Geminorum moved away from the man, and just walked on. “Earth is full of them, ewwww, these barbaric idiots.”, Geminorum said in her native tongue.
Marching along the sidewalks, Geminorum complained and complained and complained, all in her language.. “The pathways are too dirty, the girls are to ugly, the boys are to ugly, the children are too little, the adults are too big etc, etc.”
Geminorum was truly displeased, she found a near by bench, and sat down. She then looked up at the sky and thought. Curses, father you could have sent me to another planet… if this guy was sooo important that we have to kill him, why couldn’t you do it.
Dark clouds started to take over the sky, as her father’s oh so famous temper tantrum started.

Tas considered all of the parts of her plan carefully. She couldn’t do anything too flashy; people would just assume it was part of the show, but she had to do something that would ruin it. She slipped a smokebomb and darts into her hand, and flipped her mask down over her face.
Once the show was well under way, and most of the performers were in the ring, she put her plan into action. She threw the smokebomb into the air, where it exploded, obscuring everything within moments. Then she picked off the performers one by one, hitting them with a drug that would leave them in a coma-like state for at least a month. The only way to stop it would be having a metabolism like hers(it had put her out for a week still) or being a robot. And honestly, how likely was that?
Everything was going according to plan. So of course, she was out of the final thing she needed. A splitting headache erupted and her senses began sharpening, all signs of trouble. She staggered to a halt, holding her head, as the smoke began clearing. The first to see anything: a girl with bright eyes and a rat on her shoulder. The others would not be far behind.
Destroy them all. Tas closed her eyes and took a shuddering breath. She needed to get away from here, find an alley or someplace. .Kill them. Rip their still beating hearts from their chests and crush them.
Tas sprinted away, out of the tent, crashing into a wall outside and sliding down. She raised her shaking hands to her face, and already saw the claws forming, sharp and black, on them.

A few people in the crowd gather around Mirabelle and the man. Seeing this little girl gathered around this man, whom some thought was her father or guardian. He seemed fine to Mirabelle and the Circus was going to start. She took the man’s hand and helped him up. “Well, I have to go Mister! But I’m sure these nice people can take you to a doctor if you need one.” Mirabelle then ran off too fast for the crowd to ask. On her way to the circus she heard lightning flash in the sky. She looked for a moment but was to caught up on catching the show. She’d never been to a circus and she figured it was a spring shower or distant storm.
Mirabelle goes up to the front as the show was about to start, and she handed the man the ticket she was kindly given before. However she walked to the tent and sat waiting. However there was smoke inside for some reason. Mirabelle blinked and looked curious and she could hear the thuds of people dropping and bit of panicked noises. Was this apart of the show? Mirabelle thought. Something didn’t feel right. Her pupils shift. They dilate and dilate as her vision changes to thermal and she sees people laying on the ground, dropping. They all looked like human shaped clumps of orange. It took a few moments for them to drop often but she could see the fear and confusion in them though. She stood up and every one in there was down. She heard creeks and she knew everything was coming down and she yelled. “THE TENT IS GONNA FALL!” People begin to run and try to make their way out but not everyone could find their way out. One of the beams supporting the circus was already beginning to fall and Mirabelle saw it was going to crush an unconscious clown.
Mirabelle jumped out of her seat into the ring and ran towards the clown as she stood over him and held her arms up as she caught the giant beam and stopped it from crushing the clown, the wooden beam denting in her hands. The entire tent collapses and the other beam falls and the area shakes a bit a bit as dust flies out and the rest of the tent comes down on her and many people still trapped inside. Mirabelle is holding the giant beam with a look of determination throws the beam aside. She forms black transparent hard claws that sprout from her fingers and tears out the tent. Then picks up the clown and takes a large leap with him over her shoulder and lands outside, setting him down. She then rips it open and jumps out with the clown over her should clear out of the tent. A few people look up to see Mirabelle as the smoke clears setting the clown down.
She jumps back to the tent as the smoke begins to clear and startles some people from how fast she jumped away. Mirabelle lands on the tent and claws an opening for the trapped audience to escape as the crawl through it. Other circus staff like those at game boothes and rides if there were any were there looking distraught however. Mirabelle ran around tearing open several areas of the tent to reveal unconscious performers and trapped people. With these tears made Mirabelle slung two clowns on her shoulder and her hair moved on it own and wrapped a clown onto her head. Then she ran with the three jumping obstacles at rather quick speeds. She then sets them down. How many people she can carry seems less of a matter of how many is she strong enough to pick up and more of a matter of how many can she balance. She was small and it made it wouldn’t be easy to balance a large amount of people. However she turned back and people were being carried out by circus workers and even some people in the audience. People combined their strength to lift heavy objects off people. People of all kinds assisting however they could.
Mirabelle looked around and her vision returned to normal and she could see a few people staring at her, and she backed away, her claws going behind her. She took a few more steps back, walking backwards for a bit, as her gaze went down. She then turn and ran. One man called out to her “wait!” Mirabelle turned and was about to leave when she saw someone leaning up against the wall. She didn’t look well. Mirabelle went up closer. “Hey, are you okay-” She reached out to this person, however she then pulled her hand back as her pupils shrank out of fear and she backed away. All the ambient noise of chaos was drowned out to Mirabelle as just focused on this creature. She heard the panicked heart, she heard the blood rushing within the creature, the shifting her muscle and bone. Already she could smell the adrenaline. Mirabelle’s eye became less something of fear as she slowly came to the realization of what was happening as she brought her blackening hands to her face.
Mirabelle stepped back. There was hesitation as she bared her claws. She gulped. “No…” She thought to herself. Her claws went back into her fingers. She was about 20 feet away. She took a calmer stance and gulped. A non confrontational one. “Hey…I can understand, understands whats happening to you” She said softly and gently. She was however ready for an attack. A lunge specifically. She kept her distance and she had to beware. A lunge was no so easy to just sidestep. She had to be prepared to redirect the momentum of something potentially much larger and heavier than she is.
“I’m here…” She said again, irregardless of what sort of creature was now before her.
-
Tas gritted her teeth as the Wolf clawed its way up, demanding that she destroy everything in sight. “You need to Get away from here. Get away because I can’t control it without–agh!” Tas broke off,her pupils slitting and dilating. She then got up and ran again, crashing to the ground only a few meters away.
-
Mirabelle puts her hands over her mouth to hide her gasping as she saw her fall. She wanted to help, but she knew it could be dangerous to get too close. It then occurred to Mirabelle, she could tail her. “No! I’m not just going to leave you here like this!” Mirabelle retorts. Still. She looked for something to run and duck behind if need be. Her friend on her shoulder was hissing at the lady. His hair standing on end like a cat’s. The little rat himself, was nipping at Mirabelle’s neck trying to get her attention and trying to get her away from the creature.
In the sewers the fungus she planted before was moving towards her. SLithering, rather slowly. People looked at in the alley as some of it even crawled into the sewers. It was slow but not too far away. And if it could do anything, it could exploit a weaknesss. From the sewers, it start to press into crack and make them larger. Growing through solid concrete, the rate of growth causing the fungus itself to heat up as it begin to burrow. Sewer walls around where they do this, begin to have large propegating cracks. The fungus itself growing feeding on fecal matter and ambient methane…. The fungus’s DNA altering as they begin to become more…plant like and capable of producing silk. Should Mirabelle need it.
However, the plan was not to fight. If she fully lost control, she could be dangerous. Other people can wander over too. What’s gonna happen to them if she sees them like this? “YOU CAN FIGHT IT!!” Mirabelle yells. “I know you can! Fight it!” She exclaims loudly and encouragingly at the woman.
-
Vorgun approached the fallen girl mumtering, “Excusse mme? Are you okay mmissss?” He cautiously strides up to her reaching out a hand to help pull her up. “You look like you jusst took quite the fall back there. It looked painnful”

Agent 2 was eat to target Tax and with a tip from Agent 1 it was easy getting her calm… that would be, tricky but he prepared for this. After arriving he saw another girl trying to talk to her he decided to intervene saying, “hey thanks I’ll take it from here,” he then stood in the way, even if attacked she could do no harm to him as he yelled, “ADAMANTINE BODY,” turning his body a grayish color. He then told Tas, “I know what you need, the genetic suppressor I have it right here,” as he did so he grabbed a metal box from his suit.
Agent 5 got back on that skateboard and chased after Mirabelle not really knowing how to stop when he go there Agent 2 was already there, so he said, “screw this,” and sprouted dragon-like wings and started to shed his human skin revealing scales all over his body and flew up not knowing where the skateboard went.
Agent & saw his target over there Vorgun Peruga good thing they were both trolls and highbloods though a one color difference he went to get his targets attention, “yo what’s a troll more specifically a befor& doing on earth.”
Agent 3 was getting nowhere so he decided to use his stolen ace in the hole he had spent some time traveling the multiverse with the dimension sword said to rip open dimensions he went back a little he was sure to have saw some sort of distortion in the shadows which he had dismissed until he realized no one was there he checked back just to realize that it disappeared after that girl she was involved somehow so now he just had to rethink his strategy he just stayed in the empty alley saying stuff like, “haha very funny,” and, “I just wanna talk,” not even knowing this was the wrong alley.
Mike was about to make chase until he heard his phone beep he checked and saw it was HIM sending info on a new target.
