Fallen just stars at Dakota. “And after.. If they can take my powers away”

She backs up, the ends of her fingers heating up red nervously. “I c-can’t be around anywhere where chemicals are involved.” She smiles apologetically. “I don’t want to catch your room on fire.”

“its not my room, and besides, i could probably put it out”

I look down at Fallen. “Why, just tell me why.” I say remembering what Fallen also told me how she loved Blaze my tone sounds depressing.

“I burnt down a building once because of all the chemicals in it. Not taking my chances.” She furrows her brow. “Where did Nova go?”

*after they were done with there break, Toby and Nova left the park and walked to the old man’s house* Toby:” You will come back tomorrow right?, i haven’t walked in a long time but i like it and its nice to have someone to talk to that can understand you besides being a dog”, he said cheerfully. Nova:”Sure, hopeful your master will want me to walk you for now on”, she said smiling at Toby before turning back to the side walk to make sure they didn’t run into anyone or anything. Once they got to the house and Toby was returned, The old man paid her the 3 dollars, old man:” thank you for walking Toby”, he said before looking down at Toby seeing his cheerful mood. old man:”can you walk him every week?, he seemed to really like the route you took”, Nova:”yeah we went to the park”, old man:” Well thats nice”, he said smiling, Nova:” well see you tomorrow”, Nova said before waving and jogging back to HQ, when she got back she went to the kitchen and got a glass of water, after she drunk the hole glass, she cleaned it with soap and water and placed it back.

“I guess I failed then.” I say putting my hands in my pocket. (When where we near Blaze?)

“Nova! Are you back?” She calls, hearing noises in the kitchen. “At least, it better be you.” She mumbles.

“Tell me..” Fallen looks at Dakota “I’m not one to love..”

“I try to love you, I tried but you like Blaze anyways so no point in trying anymore.” I say looking up and the tree Fallen climbed and I sit on the cool grass under the tree’s shade.

Fallen looks down at Dakota “I fuck everything up” She says softly. “Don’t look for me..” She takes a step back “And take care of Nova..Help Blaze even tho you may not like him..” She kneels down by Dakota taking off a necklace on her and placing it around him “I’m sorry..” Fallen takes off running.

“yeah its me”, she called back and walked up to her.”hi”, she said waving.

I grab the necklace and chase after Fallen, I aim for her feet and try to freeze her feet so I can catch up. “Fallen!”

Fallen looks back at Dakota but keeps running “I cant hurt you..” She yells back and morphs into a bird and flies off
