Into The Woods (Chapter 1.2)
-
“G-Goldmyth!” Ms. Claude and Piper arrived around the same time, although it was pretty clear that they were separate from each other. “What’s happened?” Ms. Claude looked over to where Orsin was, and returned her gaze to Goldmyth. Taking a bundle of silver rope she tossed it at Orsin’s still body and murmured some words of enchantment before the ropes snaked around him, restraining him any further from movement at all. Any struggle he made would only cause the bear more pain. “All right, so what’s happened here?” She moved over to Liv’s body running her hand over the girl’s fore-head and skull area as it seemed to be knocked out.
-
*Liv opened her eyes but she was breathing irregularly and making a wheezing sound*
-
Goldmyth sighed, “He was fine! But He said that he wanted to go to the bathroom, so he did and I was waiting for like 5 minutes. So I went inside the restroom and there was Orsin in the last stall, facing the wall. I put my hand on him and then he turned around. Orsin had bloodshot eyes and was foaming at the mouth. I just ran away and he chased me.”
-
Rea just obediently followed the woman wherever she lead her. When they got to the garden area, her legs trembled under her weight and then collapsed, taking her down with them. Her eyes were half closed. “I’m tired…. I don’t get tired until after the moon….” she murmured sleepily.
-
<em style=”line-height: 1.5;”>”Okay her ribs may be cracked.” Ms. Claude grabbed Liv and hefted her up in her arms, “Ms. Claude!” Ms. Vine was walking down the hall, her gray trench coat billowing behind her and her black pumps clicking across the granite floors. “What is going on here?” Her hair for the most part was pinned up, revealing her furious green eyes. “Orsin attacked you?” Her eyes darkened and Genie made a shrill sound. The golden monkey spoken up for her witch, “A familiar attacking his partner…This is not a good sign.” Genie shook her head. “We will take care of Orsin, Goldmyth I expect you to attend with the nurse’s room with your fellow student.” Ms. Vine said with a ‘no-nonsense’ tone. It was clear the once quite calm teacher was at the end of her wit. “And you, please assist me with this bear.” She began a levitation spell on his back paws lifting him up, and Piper assisted with the front with her own levitation spell. Ms. Vine led Orsin’s body down the hall, into the shadows of another hall.
~~
“Okay, lay yerself down here and rest.” The elder woman motioned to a corner she had in the warm green-house, where she’d tossed a quilt and a small throw pillow there where the corner was canopied with luscious leaves with red little flowers.
-
Orsin’s eyes slowly opened, they were not bloodshot, and he was not foaming at the mouth, “He–h–ee—l—p.” Orsin could barely speak.
Goldmyth started to cry, “It wasn’t his falut! It wasn’t orsin’s flaut, he wouldn’t do that to me or Liv!” she covered her face with her hands.
-
Rea yawned, her jaw clicking shut at the end of it, and picked herself off the floor. She walked over to the corner and circled around three times before laying on the blanket and dropping her head on the pillow. “Flowers…” she murmured, looking at the little red flowers through partially closed eyes.
-
“Miss. Goldmyth.” Ms. Claude said sternly, “Please focus on the task at hand, helping your friend who helped you.” She gestured toward Liv’s legs.
~~
“I’m sorry, Orsin,” Piper murmured to him through giritted teeth at the strain happening. “What are you going to do with him?” The dark haired girl looked over at the taller lighter haired woman. “Rest assured, Orsin will simply be put to sleep until we can figure out why he attacked someone–and I say put to sleep in the sense of a sleeping potion.” She reforced at Piper’s worried look.
-
*Liv was zoning out again, she blinked to try and keep herself awake*
-
“Just relax,” The elder woman said, and hummed a bit as she picked up some sheers to prune her flowers, her face creased in thought
-
Goldmyth whipped her eyes, “Okay. But he wouldn’t attack me. Ever.”
Orsin whined in pain, “Tumor….brain…kill..th—-i–n-gs…kill—-people.”
-
“Goldmyth!” Ms. Claude said sharply, “Grab her legs. Now, come on! We do not know what is wrong with her, she could have a broken rib puncturing her lung now is not the time!” Ms. Claude seemed about ready to panic, but she bit her lip and grabbed the female’s upper half, gesturing for Goldmyth to grab the lower so they could head to the nurse.
-
Goldmyth grabbed the half of her body and sighed, “Sorry..It’s just…I’m so pissed off. And I just..don’t know what’s happening. Ugh! My head hurts..and it happened so quickly, and..it was so scary.” Goldmyth looked at Liv, “I’m so sorry Liv.”
-
*Liv couldn’t really talk so all she could do is give her a sympathetic look of understanding*
-
Rea drifted slightly into a half sleep, muttering things, sometimes in English, sometimes in wolf. It didn’t make sense, although more than once the topic of a silver hand that takes the night came up.
